Trump White House Hires a College Student, 23, as a Senior Official: Report

The Trump administration has employed a 23-year-old school senior as a prime official in the White Home’s personnel office, according to Politico.

George Washington University scholar James Bacon can be director of operations within the Presidential Personnel Workplace, working beneath John McEntee, the office’s director (and President Donald Trump‘s former physique man), Politico studies.

Bacon worked briefly in the Division of Transportation after another stint as a White Home liaison with Division of Housing and City Improvement, where he was an assistant to Housing Secretary Ben Carson.

He'll now be certainly one of McEntee’s “right-hand males,” based on Politico, which notes that Bacon also labored on Trump’s 2016 campaign and carried some obligations on the Trump transition workforce after the election.

The White House didn't reply to PEOPLE’s questions on Bacon and declined to touch upon the Politico report.

The rent, as reported, comes as Trump and his administration have changed quite a lot of administration staffers — weeks after Trump was acquitted of his impeachment costs within the Senate. (The White Home noticed historic turnover in earlier years, although the newer exits are largely seen as a purge by a dissatisfied Trump.)

Emboldened by the not-guilty verdict, Trump, 73, has also ramped up his criticism of regulation enforcement and judicial officials with whom he disagrees.

He publicly slammed federal prosecutors’ sentencing suggestion of his good friend Roger Stone, which led to four attorneys stepping down from the case because the Justice Department reversed itself and lowered its requested sentence.

Earlier this week, Trump called on some liberal Supreme Courtroom Justices to “recuse” themselves from “Trump-related” instances.

Axios reported that, final week, McEntee held a gathering calling on White Home liaisons to determine those of their departments whom they consider are “anti-Trump” and aren’t devoted to the president or his government.

“After three years of allowing others to regulate who can be round him and have energy, he’s making an attempt to take again a few of the power and have a say in the staffing within the White House and administration,” a person near the White House informed Politico. “A variety of the individuals in there weren’t actual allies of Trump, and didn’t truly help his agenda but had vital roles in his administration.”
