Biden says Steyer’s spending to blame for dip in African American support

Former Vice President Joe Biden on Sunday attributed his eroding help among African People in South Carolina to billionaire Tom Steyer's large spending within the state.

"What's occurring is you've Steyer spending a whole lot of hundreds of thousands, tens of hundreds of dollars, hundreds of thousands of dollars, out campaigning there," Biden stated on CBS' "Face the Nation."

"So, I feel so much is occurring when it comes to the sum of money being spent by the billionaires to attempt to reduce into the African American vote," he added. "I feel that has lots to do with it."

Steyer has poured millions of dollars into the Palmetto State, flooding the airwaves and constructing out a large statewide operation. But Steyer, showing on “Fox News Sunday,“ pointed to his message and the truth that he is "very prepared to talk about race" for his improve on help.
