Attendees who saw Meghan Markle at a girls' weekend retreat in Australia walked away with some As ever merch.

The Duchess of Sussex, 44, took the stage at Her Best Life podcast's event in Sydney on Friday, April 17, kicking off the three-day women's retreat at the InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach.

Photos shared by the Daily Mail and an Instagram fan showed that guests were sent home with flower sprinkles ($15) and a "Hold That Thought" leather bookmark from Meghan's As ever brand, which is currently sold out, in a gift bag.

Other items in the canvas swag bag included a Quick Flick lip balm, Hunter candle, Love Tea gift box set and Funday sweets, the Daily Mail reported. The haul was pictured with a baseball cap branded with Her Best Life's logo and a journal stamped with "Find Your Joy."

The gift bag was valued at around $200, sending attendees — who paid ticket prices starting at $1,930 — home with some treats.

Meghan unveiled her As ever brand in 2025 as a curated line of shelf-stable food products, including flower sprinkles, baking mixes and teas, and she has since expanded the lifestyle venture to include wines, candles and bookmarks.

Exclusively speaking to PEOPLE last year, the Duchess of Sussex said that she didn't identify as an influencer as she launched her business.

“I see myself as an entrepreneur and a female founder, and if the brand ends up influential, then that’s great," she said then.

Meghan's appearance at the Her Best Life weekend retreat was technically a private event during her four-day trip to Australia with Prince Harry. Their trip began on April 14 with a stop at a children's hospital that Queen Elizabeth, King Charles and the late Princess Diana all previously visited.

The couple mixed philanthropic, business and private events in Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney while abroad, and the Duke of Sussex, 41, supported her on the sidelines of her speaking engagement at the retreat.

The Duchess of Sussex opened up there about "enduring" attacks for over a decade in the public eye, alluding to the fame she gained when she began dating Prince Harry, The Daily Telegraph reported.

Meghan said it was "very hard" but alleged that people's critiques of her were based on "projections," and that their children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, taught her patience and perspective, which she needed, "given what our life is like."

The Duchess of Sussex spoke in a Q&A moderated by Her Best Life podcast host Gemma O'Neill, and recording devices were reportedly banned from her interview.

Meghan and Prince Harry married in 2018, stepped back from their royal roles in the U.K. in 2020 and moved to her home state of California in the U.S. Their trip to Australia marked their first return to the continent since their royal tour there in October 2018, which marked their first major overseas trip as newlyweds.

Their children, Archie and Lilibet, didn't join them in Australia, but the children celebrated their return home with a welcome banner at their house in Montecito.

Andrew Lloyd Webber recently quit drinking after noticing the effects his substance abuse struggles had on his family.

“You think it’s a secret, but it’s not. Everybody knows. I started getting into a downhill spiral,” Lloyd Webber, 78, told The Times of London in a Saturday, April 19, profile. “About 18 months ago, the family were in a desperate state. My wife was feeling she couldn’t go on.”

Lloyd Webber, who has been married to Madeleine Gurdon since 1991, further called himself a “recovering alcoholic.”

“Sixteen months ago I decided that I needed help and it’s the best thing that ever happened to me,” he told the British newspaper, revealing he sought treatment at an in-patient facility and began attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. “What I love about it is, you go into a room and everybody’s equal. I’ve made friends that I wouldn’t have thought possible.”

Sobriety Surprises: Lena Dunham, Jason Biggs and Other Stars Who Revealed They Got Sober

Lloyd Webber now attends daily AA meetings, regardless of his travels.

“I did the meeting in New York on the day I was opening Cats: The Jellicle Ball last week, and nobody said a thing,” the famed composer said, revealing his favorite session took place in St. Louis, Missouri. “It was great fun. When you get a whole load of rednecks, it’s rather different to a meeting in Chelsea.”

Lloyd Webber previously quit drinking for 19 months in 2015 before he relapsed.

“I was doing what they call ‘white-knuckling,’ without any backup, and I started to worry that I wasn’t being creative,” he said, revealing that songs from the likes of Cats and Evita were initially crafted while drinking wine. “I thought, ‘I’ve said to everybody that I’m not drinking.’ So, I started to drink secretly.”

He added, “You don’t really think. It’s just, ‘How am I going to get through the day?’ I got that thing of seriously worrying that I wasn’t writing, and panicked. ‘Maybe I’ll have a drink. OK, I’ve written something.’ It does slightly liberate you — but then it’s more and more and more.”

Nearly 10 years later, Lloyd Webber decided to get sober again.

“I’m lucky that nothing did go very wrong. I haven’t had some frightful accident,” he recalled of his substance abuse challenges. “I thought I was getting away with it. The thing is, I am deeply sorry and I can only apologize to people if I made a mess.”

Since he stopped drinking, Lloyd Webber has been even more creatively fulfilled with the productions of Cats: The Jellicle Ball, Masquerade and two musicals more in development.

“I couldn’t have done that if I hadn’t been sober — I wouldn’t have been concentrating enough,” he quipped, referring to Masquerade’s immersive staging of Phantom of the Opera.

Lloyd Webber’s family also rallied around him amid his sobriety journey.

Andrew Lloyd Webber Announces Son Nick Lloyd Webber Is Dead at Age 43 After Cancer Battle: ‘I Am Shattered’

“I went in [to my New York apartment a few months ago[ and there were all these balloons with ‘1’ on them,” he mused. “My youngest daughter had sent them to celebrate me being one year sober.”

The EGOT winner is a father of five. He shares Alastair, William and Isabella with Gurdon, as well as Imogen and Nicholas with ex-wife Sarah Hugill. Nicholas, who died in 2023 after battling gastric cancer, had also struggled with addiction before his death.

“He was [an] alcoholic,” Lloyd Webber added to The Times. “He was in a dreadful mess and came out of it, but I couldn’t help noticing how he’d changed. He got stomach cancer and one doesn’t know what caused it, but I can’t believe that all the medication he was on helped.”

Lloyd Webber now wears two leather bracelets, one engraved with Nicholas’ name and another with a silver link from his other children that helps “stop [him from] drinking.”

- Ciara Miller is breaking her silence after her *Summer House *costars Amanda Batula and West Wilson confirmed their rumored romance.

- "It's one thing to experience hurt behind closed doors," Miller said in an interview with *Glamour*. "To experience it so publicly is like another layer, and then to have to see what you thought was your life still play out in season 10."

- The reveal created ripples throughout the *Summer House *fandom and cast due to Wilson's very public breakup with Miller, who has been close friends with Batula for years.

Ciara Miller is speaking her piece in the aftermath of her *Summer House* costars Amanda Batula and West Wilson confirming their rumored romance.

After weeks of silence, the reality star spoke out in a *Glamour* cover story published Friday, in which she reflected on the "major mindf---" that was experiencing the reveal in real-time as *Summer House's* current season 10 was still airing.

"It's one thing to experience hurt behind closed doors," Miller told the outlet. "To experience it so publicly is like another layer, and then to have to see what you thought was your life still play out in season 10. It's a major mindf---."

Fans have been clamoring to hear what Miller has to say since Wilson and Batula revealed their relationship amid online speculation with a joint statement on March 31. Calling the new element of their relationship "still very new," the pair wrote that "given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it."

"We've shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what's developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care," they wrote. "As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless."

The reveal created ripples throughout the *Summer House *fandom and cast due to Wilson's very public breakup with Miller, who has been close friends with Batula for years. Although their brief dalliance following Wilson's addition to the cast in 2023 ended on less-than-friendly terms, the pair have maintained a will-they-or-won't-they vibe ever since.

The show's latest season featured multiple cast members wondering if Miller and Wilson were getting back together, with the latter being notably disturbed when approached by costar Jesse Solomon about possibly kissing Miller if given the chance. At one point in the season, Wilson even referred to Miller as "the love of my life."

Wilson was also close with costar Kyle Cooke, to whom Batula had been married for four years before they announced their split in January.

As Miller told *Glamour, *she "definitely" felt closest with Batula between the pair, "because West and I were working" on their relationship. "Because we are exes, sometimes you spin the block; sometimes you land in situations where you guys are out," she said. "I feel like there's room to do that if that's your ex."

"I felt like we were trying to move in a more positive direction since we hadn't spoken to each other in two years. I felt like we were actually starting to be friends again," the model and nurse added of her relationship with West at the time. "And we had had a lot of conversations about, 'Okay, what do I need from you? What do you need from me? What are some of the boundaries that we want to keep in place? What's going to make our friendship a lot easier?' One of those [boundaries] was no more sleeping with people on Bravo. Obviously, now that's out the window."

But their friendship, she noted, was "genuine," which is why she believes it was all the more hurtful "when everything kind of went south [following our breakup], and why I needed to take time after."

It is perhaps that fracture that made Miller feel less betrayed by Wilson. She told *Glamour*: "At the end of the day, a guy’s a guy. Whether or not West and I are working on a relationship, you just can’t put anything past a man."

Batula is a different story. Miller explained that Batula "felt like a very calm spirit initially" and "someone that I always felt comfortable talking to," which made their bond seem seamless. "She always felt like a nonjudgmental figure to go to," Miller added.

"I just never would think that it would come from someone like Amanda, who has been what has felt like in my circle and in my corner for so long," Miller said of her shock after learning of Batula and Wilson's relationship. "I think that's the craziest part."

Ciara Miller attends Apple TV's "Your Friends & Neighbors" season 2 premiere at New York Historical on March 30, 2026 in New York City.

It doesn't help that Wilson and Batula vehemently denied the rumors before their joint statement was posted. During a recent appearance on Bravo's *Watch What Happens Live*, Wilson stated that he and Batula were just friends and added, "If it's not clear, that's a very important person to me, and I, like, care about her a lot."

Batula further denied the rumors, writing, "THANK YOUUUUUUU," when responding to a fan who commented, "West is a safe boy bestie for Amanda because they'd never date. He's so much fun, he cares about his friends and they have mutual friends to hang out with all the time."

The behavior of the *Summer House *cast notably shifted, however, after *Page Six* reported that Batula and Miller were "feuding" after the latter allegedly received confirmation last week of the long-rumored hookup. Although neither star commented on the allegations, fans noted that despite the duo being scheduled to do an Amazon livestream together, they wound up doing the event separately instead.

Much of *Summer House'*s current season showcased Miller and Batula's close bond as the latter's marriage to Cooke fell apart. Batula even gushed about Miller coming to her aid after she and Cooke announced their split a little more than a month before online speculation about her relationship with Wilson began.

"[Miller] is one of the kindest, most loving, loyal friends I've ever had. She sends me texts out of the blue, reminding me how strong, powerful, smart, and kind I am — I don't think she even realizes how much I need those texts," Batula said in an interview with *Marie Claire*. "It's also meant so much to me how supportive West has been throughout the season, sometimes in ways I wasn't even aware of when filming. It's not performative; it's just really authentic to who West is."

That's an element that especially sticks to Miller now. When reminded of how she stuck up for Batula throughout the season, she lamented: "I've fought with your own husband to advocate for you. I have championed you. I have tried to be there in different ways for you and help you and get you to see your value in yourself."

"And so to be disregarded in such a disrespectful way is.... Honestly, it's.... I'm at a loss for words sometimes," she admitted.

Miller's last conversation with Batula was "minimal," she shared, and she got a heads-up about her and Wilson's Instagram statement "less than 24 hours" before it was posted online. "I read it with the rest of the world," she added. "There's something about the lack of being able to say each other's names in the statement that I found very telling, but I don't know."

As the filming date for *Summer House's* season 10 reunion draws nearer, Miller told *Glamour *that she's "just trying to make it" to that date at this point.

"Every day changes," the nurse said. "It's like a weird flow of what you thought the past couple of years of your life looked like, and what you thought relationships were versus what they actually are. It's tricky. One of my friends was like, 'You're going to shed a lot of friends] in your 30s, but that's to gain more clarity.' And damn, she was right."

As it stands, Miller said she's ready to move on from the maelstrom that lives in the aftermath of the relationship reveal.

"Just know when something's weird in your gut, there's a reason," she declared. "What's done in the dark always comes to light. And sometimes you really don't even have to do anything except sit back and let the universe handle it all."

There’s a reason why Pete Davidson was not featured in the documentary about Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels.

“I interviewed so many people for the film, and at a certain point, after I'd interviewed [John] Mulaney and he had said everything he had said, I just didn't know where we were gonna put more voices,” director Morgan Neville told People in an interview published on Saturday, April 18. “It just felt like it was full, you know?”

Neville noted that Davidson, 32, was not available when they first started filming the documentary, recalling that he didn’t know “where anything’s gonna fit” with all the SNL alums participating.

“That was the hard part,” Neville said. “It was like an embarrassment of riches, that you could interview a thousand people about Lorne Michaels. So many people have stories.”

Pete Davidson Thinks His Success Was ‘Annoying’ for ‘SNL’ Cast: ‘I Did Rub People the Wrong Way’

Neville also hoped to focus more on Michaels, 81, rather than celebrities like who he crossed paths with.

“I was just trying to distill his essence into a film,” he said. “A lot of those stories are not about Lorne, they're about those people.”

“I just wanted to make sure I was staying on Lorne’s story and not other people's stories,” he continued. “Because there are stories everywhere and it's huge. There are thousand-page books about the show. So, it's really just trying to get that essence of what makes him tick that I was just zeroed in on.”

Davidson has been candid through the years about his relationship with Michaels. In the 2025 documentary SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night, Davidson recalled calling for a meeting with Michaels after his first year on the show.

Pete Davidson Will Host ‘Saturday Night Live’ for 1st Time Since Series Departure

“I was like, ‘Please fire me,’” he shared in the series’ first episode. “And he was like, ‘Why?’ I was like, ‘I don’t belong here. Everybody here’s so talented, and they don’t want to be my friend.’”

Davidson went on to jokingly compare himself to acting like “a child,” adding, “I was like, ‘Nobody wants to be my friend.’ And he said, ‘You don’t figure it out until your third or fourth year. … It’s just gonna suck for three or four years.’ I was like, ‘All right,’ and he was right.”

Davidson ultimately remained on the show for eight seasons, before his exit in 2022.

“I appreciate SNL always having my back and allowing me to work on myself and grow,” he said during his final Weekend Update appearance on the season 47 finale. “Thank you to Lorne for never giving up on me or judging me even when everyone else was and for believing in me and allowing me to have a place that I could call home with memories that will last a lifetime. So, thank you guys.”

Lorne is currently in theaters.

A pair of cool-girl denim jeans can be the base for an endless amount of stylish outfits, whether you want to keep things laid-back and casual or get a little dressed up. And if you’re looking for a new pair for spring, you’re in luck – Reese Witherspoon has just helped us discover the most chic loose jeans, and they cost less than $35.

While doing some shopping in SoHo, the actress was photographed wearing a pair of perfectly fitted loose jeans – you know, the kind that have a wide leg but are snug in all the right places. We were able to find a pair that are almost the same, and even though they’re budget-friendly, they definitely look more expensive.

Get the Dokotoo Wide Leg Jeans for $33 (was $55) at Walmart! Please note, prices are accurate as of the publishing date but are subject to change.

The Dokotoo Wide Leg Jeans offer a similar loose fit with a side seam that makes them look surprisingly flattering. They hug your hips and waist in a good way, showing off your curves without feeling too restrictive. And we love the medium wash they come in as a versatile pick that can be dressed up or down, although they do come in a few other denim shades as well.

Lindsay Lohan Proves That Relaxed Jeans Feel Cooler (and Comfier) Than Skinnies — Here’s How

One thing we love about these jeans is that they have a raw hem that gives them a distressed look. It’s not so distressed that they come off as too worn or messy, but it’s just distressed enough to give them that “I'm not trying too hard” vibe. You can pair them with flat sandals or sneakers, but they would also look great with heels.

And we’re not the only ones who are impressed with this pick – they come with tons of happy reviews from shoppers who love the fit and style. “Don’t hesitate to get these,” one shopper titled their review. “I have a very difficult time finding jeans that fit me, so I normally don’t wear jeans,” they continued. “These are soft, fit perfect and are comfortable. I’ve had tons of compliments from people who I didn’t know when I’d wear them.”

Several shoppers have also raved about how comfortable the jeans are. “The fit strikes a perfect balance – snug but not restrictive, giving a modern silhouette without sacrificing comfort,” one reviewer wrote, noting that the fabric feels “impressive.”

Don’t wait on these loose jeans – they’re the perfect wardrobe staple you can wear all year long. And because they have such a classic fit, they’ll never go out of style, so they’re a win all around.

Zay Flowers believes the Baltimore Ravens' offseason coaching change could help the team avoid the injury bug that has plagued them in recent seasons.

In an appearance on the "4th and South" podcast, hosted by Jarvis Landry and Leonard Fournette, Flowers spoke about the Ravens' strenuous practices under former coach John Harbaugh.

"Bro, we're [in] full pads all the time," Flowers said, with a smile. "However many practices in pads you can get, every single one."

"We're doing one-on-ones in Week 17," Flowers added. "Week 17, we're doing one-on-ones, everybody out there, we're tired, we're still going."

Landry and Fournette cracked a couple of jokes about Flowers' remarks but seemed to be in disbelief about the 25-year-old receiver's claim. It also prompted them to ask Flowers how the players managed such a grueling schedule.

"We don't," Flowers said. "Low key, that's why we had a lot of injuries – because of how we practiced, how we went. The load was heavy."

The Ravens dealt with a plethora of injuries early during the 2025 NFL season, and were without seven Pro Bowl players in Week 5 against the Houston Texans. Star quarterback Lamar Jackson missed four games because of a hamstring injury, which played a role in the Ravens posting a 1-5 record over their first six games.

However, the Ravens got healthier as the season progressed, as reflected by their 7-4 record over their final 11 games. Baltimore lost 183 total games to injury during the 2025 NFL season, which ranked 22nd league-wide and well below the average of 220 games missed, per Sports Info Solutions.

Still, Flowers believes new coach Jesse Minter can help lower that number further as he becomes a first-time coach.

"[Minter] knows how we worked with Harbaugh," Flowers said. "So, he's like, 'You're going to get your work, but it's going to be a little easier on your body. You're going to be fresher for the game.'"

While Flowers was critical of Baltimore's practice habits under Harbaugh, he still lauded the Super Bowl 47-winner's ability to prepare his players for game action.

"How he prepared for games, he can get anybody prepared," Flowers said. "He's good at getting you ready to go play. Not even speeches, it's just the way we practiced. How he gets you prepared to go play and hit and do your job. It carries over to the game, without you even having to think about it."

It's happened to you before: you fell for the hype of a horror movie, and it turned out to be a disappointment.

If you're looking for movies that will actually scare you, well, you'll find more luck by searching in unlikely places.

That's why Watch With Us has put together a list of actually scary horror movies that you've probably never heard of.

Our first choice is James Wan's Dead Silence, a perfect movie for people who thought Annabelle was scary.

Like ‘The Conjuring: Last Rites’? Then Watch These 4 Scary Movies Right Now

'Dead Silence' (2007)

One night, Jamie Ashen (Ryan Kwanten) and his wife, Lisa (Laura Regan), receive an anonymous gift of a creepy ventriloquist doll named Billy, and after Jamie heads out to pick up Chinese food, he returns to find Lisa dead, with her tongue cut out. The doll carries with it a chilling legacy that Jamie is all too familiar with: the legend of Mary Shaw (Judith Roberts), a long-deceased puppeteer from Jamie's hometown of Ravens Fair who was publicly humiliated, blamed for the disappearance of a young boy and subsequently lynched. It is said that her spirit will get revenge on the entire lineage of the young boy — which includes Jamie's family.

A lot of Dead Silence is patently ridiculous: the entire legend of Mary Shaw and Ravens Fair, the goofy twist ending, the melodramatic tone of the film and Donnie Wahlberg as a detective who carries an electric razor wherever he goes and just will not believe anything that's happening in the movie to an almost absurd degree. But the movie's steadfast earnestness in its own ridiculousness is part of what makes it so great, and the creepy puppet design, intense atmosphere of dread and truly horrific makeup and costuming for Mary Shaw will easily chill you if you find creepy dolls a sore spot. Make sure to look out for a Billy the Puppet cameo, too.

'Noroi: The Curse' (2005)

Presented as a finished documentary, Noroi: The Curse follows Masafumi Kobayashi (Jin Muraki), a prominent paranormal researcher who investigates supernatural activity in Japan. Kobayashi was in the midst of production on an upcoming documentary titled The Curse when he mysteriously disappeared after his house burned down, with his wife found dead in the ruins. As we watch Kobayashi's documentary, we follow what starts as an investigation into a strange noise that turns into a chilling revelation about an ancient demon called Kagutaba.

This haunting found footage film will chill you to the bone in all the best ways with its patient storytelling and completely authentic acting that hinges on subtlety. The entire movie is deeply unsettling and anchored by a pervasive sense of unease, furthered by the immersive mockumentary-style filmmaking. As opposed to relying on jump scares, Noroi: The Curse succeeds with pure psychological terror that will linger with you long after the credits roll.

'Grave Encounters' (2011)

The crew of the successful ghost-hunting TV show, Grave Encounters, travels to the abandoned mental facility Collingwood Psychiatric Hospital, which is reported to be extremely haunted. Together, the series' host Lance Preston (Sean Rogerson), occult expert Sasha (Ashleigh Gryzko), cameraman T. C. (Merwin Mondesir), surveillance operator Matt (Juan Riedinger) and phony medium Houston Gray (Mackenzie Gray) allow themselves to be locked up in Collingwood overnight to investigate possible paranormal activity. But what starts as a boring night turns into a never-ending nightmare, as it becomes apparent that the hospital does not want its new patients to leave.

As ever, the found footage filmmaking style reigns supreme when it comes to horror movies, allowing the scares to feel all the more real. Grave Encounters is a must-watch for people who feel terrified at the idea of being trapped inside a maze you can't escape from. The claustrophobic atmosphere becomes increasingly stifling as the protagonists are progressively hunted by an unseen force, and the terrifying reveal at the movie's conclusion ties everything together in a blood-soaked bow.

'The Medium' (2021)

A documentary crew travels to the Isan region of Thailand to interview a medium named Nim (Sawanee Utoomma), who claims to be possessed by the spirit of a goddess named Ba Yan. Nim says that Ba Yan chose her body to be a vessel after Nim's sister, Noi (Sirani Yankittikan), refused to accept the duty and converted to Christianity. But after the death of Noi's husband — and a string of bizarre family deaths — Noi's daughter, Nim's niece, Mink (Narilya Gulmongkolpech), begins behaving strangely. Nim initially believes this to be a sign that Ba Yan has chosen Mink as her next vessel, but she comes to understand it is something far darker.

10 Best Horror Movies on Hulu Right Now (March 2026): ‘Ready or Not’ and More

While the found footage framing becomes increasingly unnecessary as The Medium goes on, it doesn't take away from how utterly frightening the film is. There are some extremely shocking moments in the movie involving cannibalism and self-harm, but the shock moments are nothing compared to the way the movie slowly builds suspense, tension and fear. The Medium is a totally engrossing experience that offers a fresh take on demonic possession by rooting it in the specificity of Thai shamanism and folklore.

Natalie Portman has rarely opened up about motherhood through the years, but with a third baby on the way, the Oscar winner is sharing more than ever about parenting, pregnancy and what family means to her.

Portman confirmed to Harper's Bazaar in April 2026 that she and boyfriend Tanguy Destable are expecting their first baby together. (Portman and Destable each have two children from previous relationships.)

"Tanguy and I are very excited," Portman told the outlet. "I'm just very grateful. I know it's such a privilege and a miracle. I grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant. I have so many people I love who've had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well. It's such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it's also not an easy thing."

She continued, "I know how lucky it is. I'm very aware, and I'm very grateful. I have deep appreciation and gratitude."

Natalie Portman Explains Why She Doesn’t Think Kids Should Work in Hollywood

Keep scrolling for more of Portman’s candid comments about motherhood:

Watching Her Kids Grow Up

Since her divorce, Natalie Portman has started to speak more candidly about her role as a mom. She shares son Aleph and daughter Amalia with ex-husband Benjamin Millepied.

"My kids are always a source of excitement, because you just see them develop into the individuals they are," she told Jenna Ortega in an Interview magazine profile published in April 2025. "And also, I've been spending a lot of time with my friends, with their kids and my kids; that's pretty fun."

Portman also subtly addressed her ex when asked whether having kids helped her find a "balance" between her professional and private lives.

"Having kids, that wasn't really my motivation," she said. "I was just excited to have kids, and with a person that I was in love with. But it's really important to have people in your life who keep you on the ground."

Navigating Pregnancy in the Spotlight

This isn't Portman's first time experiencing the scrutiny that comes with a high-profile pregnancy, recalling the unwanted comments she received while attending the 2011 Oscars during her first pregnancy.

"Everyone was like, 'Oh, you're going to pop.' I was like, 'I'm four months pregnant,'" Portman recalled on the "Dish From Waitrose" podcast in May 2025. "Everyone was like, 'You must be giving birth tomorrow. Hope it doesn't happen on the red carpet.' I was like, 'I've got five more months to go.'"

She added at the time, "I couldn't drink at all during all of those events, which was hard. It's a lot of stress. It's a lot of attention. … And I was sober while everyone else was not."

Portman further joked she was "probably the only actress eating my way to the Oscars" that year. In February 2011, she took home the Best Actress Oscar for her role as Nina Sayers in Black Swan months before giving birth to son Aleph that June.

How Pregnancy With Baby No. 3 Is Different

While speaking with Harper’s Bazaar in April 2026, Natalie Portman compared her pregnancy with her third baby to when she was expecting Aleph and Amalia.

“I have more energy than I thought I might,” she told the magazine, revealing she has stayed active by swimming, doing Gyrotonics and playing with her eldest kids. “[That] is always the best.”

The Marshals cast had plenty to say about those Dutton Ranch romance rumors, the relationships being explored on the Yellowstone spinoff and more.

During CBS Fest on Wednesday, April 15, Arielle Kebbel weighed in on possible Yellowstone cameos, telling Us Weekly, "[We need] all of them. We could go for some more country artists any day. [too]!"

Kebbel remained more tight-lipped about a Dutton Ranch crossover but acknowledged the "rumors."

"[For Us, the biggest challenge of filming a Yellowstone spinoff] is finding the balance of respecting the why that's already established and knowing that in that legacy, our job is to also bring these new characters forward," she explained. "So respecting what's already been built but also feeling creative and free enough to bring our own character stories forward and really hoping that people join in our world."

Meet the Cast of Kayce Dutton’s CBS Spinoff ‘Marshals’ — Including ‘Yellowstone’ Alums

Yellowstone, which aired from 2018 to 2024, introduced Us to the Dutton family. After the show came to an end in 2024, CBS expanded the TV universe with Marshals, which follows Luke Grimes' character Kayce as he leaves ranching life behind to join an elite unit of U.S. Marshals.

Then there is Paramount's Dutton Ranch, which shows Rip (Cole Hauser) and Beth (Kelly Reilly) adjusting to life in Texas. Despite being Yellowstone spinoffs, both shows are expanding with new characters such as Kebbel's Belle. There are also characters on Marshals played by Logan Marshall-Green, Ash Santos, Tatanka Means, Brecken Merrill, Mo Brings Plenty and Gil Birmingham.

As fans get more attached to the Marshals cast, they have also formed opinions on the characters. The most recent episode of the show took some by surprise when Belle's friendship with Cal (Marshall-Green) turned into more as they kissed.

"It didn't feel quick to me, certainly, because of so much they did before," Marshall-Green, 49, told Us on Wednesday. "It felt earned. I actually wasn't that surprised."

Santos, 32, meanwhile, showed support for the fictional couple, adding, "I was ready for it. I was excited when I finally saw it in the script. It was time!" Kebbel, for her part, "wasn't surprised" by the progression in the relationship either.

"The only reason I wasn't surprised was because I had a meeting with our creator before the season started and he did tell me. But we had a very good talk, and I said, 'Tell me what I , and don't tell me anything else,'" she recalled. "I didn't know that was coming, but I didn't actually know a lot of the backstory, so I liked it because there was this intersection of Arielle and Belle that knew some things, but not everything, which was very true to the story as well."

‘Marshals’ Cast: What the Stars of Kayce Dutton’s ‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff Look Like in Real Life

Kebbel admitted that she didn't think Marshals was ready for Belle and Cal as a couple yet, noting, "We're still establishing the team [and] the team environment. Obviously, this kiss throws a whole new layer of awkwardness and feelings into the mix. But I think what's great about both of them is that they put work first. Where they kind of have similarities or understand one another is that they're struggling with the balance between work and family because they care about both so much. So I think that's the layers we're going to see uncovered in future episodes."

There is also the possible connection with Kayce and Andrea (Santos).

"I didn't even go there at first either. Other people brought it up to me and I was like, "Whoa! OK." But I think it's really interesting to see that relationship," she admitted to Us. "They are polar opposites."

She concluded: "I have [seen edits of them]. There's a girl on TikTok. She makes so many edits. She's doing the Lord's work, honey. The edits are so good."

Marshals airs on CBS Sundays at 8 p.m. ET.

On April 12, 2026, Christa Miller attended an Apple TV FYC special event for Shrinking

During the event, the 61-year-old was reminded that, at one point, she played two different characters on Seinfeld

Miller told PEOPLE that her second role on the show ultimately helped her land a part on The Drew Carey Show

Christa Miller has a rare claim to fame in sitcom history — one that even she didn’t initially realize.

While attending the Apple TV FYC special event for Shrinking, the 61-year-old was surprised and excited to learn she belongs to a small group of actors who appeared on Seinfeld as two entirely different characters.

That unexpected distinction, sometimes referred to as being a “double dipper,” became more than just a fun piece of trivia; it also played a meaningful part in helping her land a starring role on The Drew Carey Show, she tells PEOPLE.

Looking back, Miller connected the dots between her time on one iconic comedy and a pivotal career breakthrough.

In 1993, she made her first brief appearance on Seinfeld as Ellen, the woman who turns down George Costanza for a job in the episode “The Sniffing Accountant.” Two years later, she returned in a much larger role as Paula in “The Doodle” episode, where her character actually dates George.

“The best part is that the second episode I did with George, I had much more to do because it was Valentine's Day,” Miller shares, noting that “it was really fun.” The expanded role gave her more screen time and comedic beats, making the experience more memorable.

While it was rare for an actor to appear as different characters in the same series, she suggested her return may have been helped by a slight change in appearance, saying, “I might have just had grown my hair out or looked different enough to come in.”

"I mean, they knew I had already done the one, but I only had a couple scenes in the first one," she notes.

That second appearance proved far more important than she initially realized. In 1995, Miller was in the final stages of auditioning for The Drew Carey Show, but executives at ABC were hesitant, feeling she might be “too green," she explains.

Determined to strengthen her case, she took matters into her own hands and called the producers of Seinfeld, hoping to obtain footage of the freshly finished Valentine's Day episode, which she felt showed off her acting chops.

Lo and behold, the show's co-creator Larry David picked up the phone. Miller explained to the comedian, 78, that she was "getting down to the wire" for casting in The Drew Carey Show and was hoping to show them the unaired Seinfeld tape to prove she had what it takes.

"Remember in those days they wouldn't give tapes out or anything," she notes.

However, David agreed, telling her, “You can have it, but you have to return it today.” Miller immediately drove to pick up the footage and deliver it herself.

“I drove to CBS Radford. I drove all the way across the hill to where Drew Carey people were, handed them tape in broadcast news, handed the tape off, waited in the office,” Miller recalls. “They gave me back the tape and as I was driving back to return it to Seinfeld, they called me and said, ‘Welcome to the show.’ ”

Looking back, Miller credits that moment and David’s willingness to help as the reason she got her role as Kate O’Brien on The Drew Carey Show. Still, she sums up the whirlwind experience with humor: “All I did was drive.”

Alex Beard, chief executive of the Royal Ballet and Opera, reflects on the viral controversy of Timothée Chalamet's disparaging comments on both art forms.

"The public reaction was just fantastic," Beard says of the real-life aftermath of the February incident.

Chalamet's comments also sparked strong responses from celebrities such as Steven Spielberg, Nathan Lane, and ballet dancer Misty Copeland.

Timothée Chalamet may have caught immense flak after his comments about both ballet and opera went viral in February, but the controversy also led to some good news for both communities — boosted sales!

Alex Beard, chief executive of the Royal Ballet and Opera, shared the revelation in an interview with The Times published Tuesday.

"The public reaction was just fantastic," Beard told the outlet. "I thought it important that we didn't issue a kind of hoity-toity response to Chalamet. We simply said, 'Take a look at what we're doing, mate' — for instance, the fact that the largest portion of our audience by age is 20 to 30-year-olds."

And the people responded to the Royal Ballet and Opera by taking a look for themselves. "Our post got two and a half million engagements and half a million shares, just on Instagram," Beard shared. "And our ticket sales got an immediate boost. So cheers, Timmy!"

For those who need a refresher, Chalamet was on a headline-making run promoting his Oscar-nominated film, Marty Supreme, and had already been courting the ire of various parties with overexposure when a town hall with his Interstellar costar Matthew McConaughey sparked controversy.

Filmed at the University of Texas at Austin, the town hall took a turn when Chalamet weighed in on the obstacles movie theaters face in modern times. "I admire people, and I've done it myself, who go on a talk show and go, 'Hey, we gotta keep movie theaters alive. You know, we gotta keep this genre alive,'" he told the room. "And another part of me feels like, if people want to see it, like Barbie, like Oppenheimer, they're going to go see it and go out of their way to be loud and proud about it."

But then came his comments about ballet and opera. "And I don't want to be working in ballet or opera, or you know, things where it's like, 'Hey, keep this thing alive,' even though it's like, no one cares about this anymore," he said, earning laughs from McConaughey and the audience.

Chalamet — whose grandmother, mother, and sister all danced with the New York City Ballet — seemed to realize how his words might land. "All respect to the ballet and opera people out there," he added, hurriedly. "I just lost 14 cents in viewership. I just took shots for no reason."

Unsurprisingly, the comments did not fly well with artists in the ballet and opera community.

At the time, the Royal Ballet and Opera posted a clip celebrating its running shows and noting, "Every night at the Royal Opera House, thousands of people gather for ballet and opera. … If you’d like to reconsider, @tchalamet, our doors are open."

The Seattle Opera went a different route, offering 14% off select Carmen seats with the code "TIMOTHEE" and quipping in the caption, "Timmy, you're welcome to use it too."

Celebrities chimed in as well: on the March 9 broadcast of The View, Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, and guest cohost Sheryl Underwood all discussed Chalamet's comments. Hostin called them "vapid" and "shallow," while Goldberg, who pointed out his family ties to ballet, said he should know better.

"Be careful, boy … Don't apologize when you've insulted. It doesn't sound right," the EGOT winner warned. "You can't say, 'Oh, this is dumb, no disrespect.' That's absolute disrespect."

A few days later, Death of a Salesman revival star Nathan Lane shared his thoughts during an appearance on The View as well. "Oh, what a schmuck," Lane said. "It was kind of kaleidoscopic in its stupidity and insensitivity, and yet strangely telling about where we are in this country."

Speaking on the subject of A24's Marty Supreme, which follows Chalamet as a hyper-competitive ping-pong player, Lane added: "I've got news for Timmy. If you think nobody cares about opera and ballet, I can't tell you how much we don't care about ping-pong."

Get your daily dose of entertainment news, celebrity updates, and what to watch with our EW Dispatch newsletter.

Chalamet also wasn't safe during this year's Oscars, where he was the subject of jabs from host Conan O'Brien.

"Security is extremely tight tonight. Just gotta mention that," O'Brien said at the top of the show, initially appearing to reference reports that safety measures were increased due to the FBI warning of a potential "surprise attack" from Iran. However, O'Brien finished by joking, "I'm told there's concerns about attacks from both the opera and ballet communities."

The camera then cut to Chalamet and partner Kylie Jenner in the audience, with both laughing as they watched O'Brien in the moment. The comedian made one more quip before moving on, looking at Chalamet as he said, "They're just mad you left out jazz!"

Misty Copeland — who performed that night during the Oscars' musical number for Ryan Coogler's Oscar-winning vampire period piece Sinners — said in a March 9 TikTok video that she found it "interesting" that Chalamet invited her to help promote his Oscar-nominated film Marty Supreme "with respect to my art form."

"But I think that it's important that we acknowledge that, yes, this is an art form that's not 'popular' and a part of pop culture as movies are," Copeland continued. "But that doesn't mean it doesn't have enduring relevance in culture."

Copeland's final note to Chalamet was that the Complete Unknown star wouldn't have the opportunities he's achieved thus far if not for "opera and ballet in their relevance in that medium."

She concluded, "So all of these mediums have a space, and we shouldn't be comparing them."
