Schiff: Senators who fail to convict Trump will not be ‘off the hook’

Home Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff stated on Sunday senators voting to keep President Donald Trump in office won't be “off the hook,” as Democrats sit up for the president's doubtless acquittal in the impeachment trial.

“I'm not letting the senators off the hook. We're nonetheless going to enter to the Senate this week and make the case why this president must be removed,” Schiff stated on CBS’s “Face the Nation." “It is going to be as much as the senators to make that last judgment, and the senators shall be held accountable for it.”
