Max Rose voices support for Trump impeachment inquiry

Rep. Max Rose has come out in help of an impeachment inquiry towards President Donald Trump, after avoiding the query this week.

"I intend to completely help this impeachment inquiry and comply with the details," Rose advised constituents at a Staten Island city corridor Wednesday night time.

The freshman Democrat had been the one New York City Democrat, and one among just a handful nationwide, to decline to help the impeachment inquiry.

"If the president is true and he has nothing to hide, then all we ask at the moment is that he proves it," Rose stated. "I'll comply with these information wherever they lead regardless of the results."

Rose is dealing with reelection in a conservative district. Staten Island was the only borough in New York Metropolis to help Trump in 2016, carrying 57 % of the vote to Hillary Clinton's 40 %.
