Trey Gowdy: ‘No idea’ about joining Trump legal team

Former Rep. Trey Gowdy on Sunday stated he has "no concept" if he would ever be a part of President Donald Trump's legal group, regardless of Trump saying the South Carolina Republican can be free to do so next yr.

Gowdy was first floated earlier this month as a new outdoors lawyer to help the president battle impeachment — an announcement that Trump shortly walked back, citing "lobbying guidelines and laws."

In an appearance on CBS on Sunday, Gowdy forged doubt on whether or not he would ever characterize the president.
