Indianapolis Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner exited the game against the Houston Texans after two defensive snaps with a left calf injury on Sunday.

As the final seconds ticked off the clock in the first quarter with Houston ahead 3-0, the Colts officially ruled Gardner out for the remainder of the game.

He returned to the sideline with a walking boot on his left foot.

Gardner went to the locker room with each arm draped over the shoulder of medical staff as the two-time Pro Bowl cornerback was unable to put weight on his left leg.

Gardner, acquired from the New York Jets in a trade deadline deal that cost Indianapolis two first-round picks, hobbled away from a pass completion on Houston's second play from scrimmage.

The Texans had a significant injury of their own in the opening quarter. Starting running back Woody Marks shuffled to the blue medical tent with a left foot injury before being taken the locker room. He was listed as questionable to return.

Since adding Gardner, the Colts lead the NFL in percentage of snaps in man-to-man coverage, according to NFL Next Gen Stats.

Matthew Stafford finally threw an interception. But he secured his place in NFL history before the giveaway.

In the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers, Stafford found Davante Adams in the end zone for a 4-yard touchdown pass. The score gave the Los Angeles Rams a 7-0 lead. And it put Stafford in the NFL history book.

The touchdown was Stafford's 28th straight this season in a span in which he did not throw an interception. That's the most touchdowns without an interception in NFL history. He was previously tied with Tom Brady at 27.

Stafford entered Sunday having thrown 30 touchdowns and just two interceptions while leading the Rams to an NFC-best 9-2 record. He hadn't thrown an interception since a Week 3 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

But Stafford didn't extend the record on Sunday. On the very next Rams possession, Stafford threw a red-zone pass that got tipped at the line of scrimmage. The ball bounced high into the air, and Panthers safety Nick Scott picked it off in the end zone.

Then on the next Rams possession, Stafford threw another one. And this one didn't get tipped.

Stafford targeted Puka Nacua in the flat near midfield. But Panthers cornerback Mike Jackson jumped the route and intercepted the ball at the Los Angeles 48. He ran untouched from there to the end zone for a pick 6 and a 14-7 Panthers lead.

The pair of interceptions doubled Stafford's total this season in which he'd joined Drake Make for the lead in the MVP race.

It's been a remarkable season and one that has the Rams in Super Bowl contention. But Stafford would certainly like to have those two passes back.

Texas A&M dropped four spots to No. 7 after losing to Texas on Friday night.

Georgia moved up to No. 3 after beating Georgia Tech on Friday. Oregon is now at No. 4 and Texas Tech is at No. 5. The Ducks won at Washington on Saturday and the Red Raiders had no issues at West Virginia.

Ole Miss is at No. 6 as Lane Kiffin's future appears to lie elsewhere. Oklahoma, Notre Dame and Alabama all held their spots at the bottom of the top 10.

Texas moved up to No. 14 but is still a spot behind Vanderbilt at No. 13. The Longhorns beat the Commodores but Vanderbilt has one fewer loss than Texas. BYU is at No. 11 and Miami is at No. 12.

The AP poll could give us a very good idea of what the College Football Playoff rankings will look like on Tuesday night. Teams Nos. 8 through 12 are in the same order the CFP had them in a week ago and they all won their Week 14 games.

Will the committee also drop the Aggies to No. 7? That may depend on how they view Ole Miss if (or when) Kiffin officially leaves for LSU. The committee has said that it can consider Kiffin's absence in the way it ranks Ole Miss ahead of the playoff.

Jane Wickline is a polarizing cast member on Saturday Night Live. On the show for two seasons, the comedian has several threads dedicated to her on the SNL subreddit arguing over her sense of humor. It's a monthly conversation at this point. Wickline can often be seen in the background of sketches or performing a song via desk appearance on Weekend Update.

She's rarely helming a sketch, which leaves those participating in the frequent Reddit debates to mostly go back and forth about her Update songs. Those performances are a very specific vein of comedy—clever and well written, but with an awkward and dry delivery that doesn't win everyone over.

Someone who Wickline didn't appeal to posted on Reddit nine months ago: "Can we all agree it's time to let Jane Wickline go?"

Yet another post on Reddit from last month said: "Something seems off about Jane Wickline."

On the other hand, there are plenty of Wickline defenders, too. "You can think she's not funny and move on," one Redditor wrote. "I personally find her style of comedy hilarious. Comedy is subjective and she was cast for a reason. I think her delivery and jokes are getting better as well."

The problem with all of this back and forth is that there's little to debate about beyond those controversial Wickline Update performances. Wickline is being underutilized in the show—and who knows why that is—but until she gets more non-Update appearances, the debates about her place on the show will continue to revolve around her trolley problem song.

When you search Wickline's name on Youtube, the first four videos are her Weekend Update appearances. Then, there's the "Boys Podcast" sketch, where she is part of an ensemble including Sabrina Carpenter, Chloe Fineman, and Veronika Slowikowska. Then, there's more Update appearances.

Beyond her original songs, Wickline's other main claim to fame on SNL is starring alongside Marcello Hernandez for the "The Couple You Can't Believe Are Together" Update desk appearance. But for Episodes 5 and 6, where Wickline didn't have anything on Update, she averaged about one minute of screen time for each episode. Naturally, some stetches of the show will feature more or less of a given cast member, but after two seasons, Wickline needs the opportunity to make her mark in sketches, too.

But one thing is certain. One minute per episode is simply not enough time to form an opinion on a cast member, positive or negative.

Kate Bush is an English singer-songwriter who started releasing music in 1978

She released 10 albums, and 50 Words for Snow was her latest work in 2011

Bush garnered a newer fan base when her song "Running Up That Hill" was featured in Stranger Things season 4

After a career hiatus, Kate Bush is ready to make new music.

The English singer-songwriter had been out of the public eye for over a decade after she released her 2011 album, 50 Words for Snow. But in 2022, Bush returned to the spotlight when Stranger Things used her 1985 song "Running Up That Hill (A Deal with God)" in season 4 and hit No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart.

Bush began her career with her debut album, The Kick Inside, in 1978, and subsequently released 10 studio albums. Since then, she has only debuted live and compilation LPs and hasn't performed live since 2014. But after her song's inclusion in the Netflix show, Bush experienced a career resurgence, with a new fanbase of younger people discovering her discography.

Following a long career break, Bush has said she's ready to get back to making music. "I'm very keen to start working on a new album," she told BBC Radio 4's Today program in October 2024. "I've got lots of ideas and I'm really looking forward to getting back into that creative space, it's been a long time."

So, where is Kate Bush now? Here's everything to know about the singer's life today.

Who is Kate Bush?

Rob Verhorst/Redferns

Kate Bush on April 29, 1979 in Amsterdam

In the late 1970s, the English singer-songwriter made history as the first female performer with a self-written No. 1 hit in the U.K. — her debut album's lead single, "Wuthering Heights" — according to The New Yorker.

In the decades that followed, Bush's genre-bending music garnered an enduring fan base with the release of her 10 studio albums and dozens of singles, compilation albums and video albums.

Bush has also collaborated with several famous artists, including Prince, Peter Gabriel and Elton John.

Bush has been reported to be in a relationship with her partner, guitarist Dan McIntosh.

Not much is known about their romance, but the musician has been a member of Bush's backing band, played on many of her songs and performed on stage with her in 2014 on her 22-show Before the Dawn tour at the Hammersmith Apollo, according to The Telegraph.

Bush and McIntosh welcomed their son, Albert "Bertie" McIntosh, in 1998.

Over the years, Albert has played a large role in Bush's career, inspiring songs and collaborating on projects with her.

On her 2005 album Aerial, Bush included the song "Bertie" dedicated to her son, but his influence was "all over" the album as well, she told BBC Radio 2 in November 2005. He's also credited on the song "Somewhere In Between," according to The Standard.

"He's such a big part of my life so, you know, he's a very big part of my work. It's such a great thing, being able to spend as much time with him as I can," Bush told BBC Radio 2, adding that she took a while to create the album so she could spend time with Albert.

She continued, "He won't be young for very long. And already he's starting to grow up, and I wanted to make sure I didn't miss out on that."

In 2011, Albert's computerized voice was used as a singing computer program in the 6-minute short film for Bush's song "Deeper Understanding," and that same year, he was also featured on the song "Snowflake" on Bush's Words for Snow album.

In 2024, when Bush released an animated video to accompany "Snowflake" to raise money for children affected by war in Ukraine and elsewhere, she credited Albert with lead vocals in a post on her blog.

"I think his performance is extremely moving and although I'd originally written the song to capture [Albert's] beautiful descant voice before he entered adolescence, it has taken on a haunting new meaning within the context of this animation," she wrote.

When was Kate Bush's last performance?

Kate Bush on September 9, 1985 in London, England

In 2014, 35 years after the last time Bush played a full concert, she took the stage for 22 shows in London for her Before the Dawn tour, per The New York Times. It was her son who encouraged her to perform live once again, according to The Telegraph.

On the opening night of the show, Bush acknowledged 16-year-old Albert's role in the show. "He gave me the courage to push the button," the outlet reported Bush saying on stage. "Thank you, Bertie. It's been a fantastic adventure so far. And it's only just begun."

Albert was also credited as the show's creative advisor, and both he and McIntosh performed on stage alongside Bush — McIntosh as a guitarist and Albert as backing vocals.

In the program notes for the show, Albert spoke highly of his mother and her skills. "I feel so privileged to be able to work on this project, and have tried to earn my place. My mother is the most talented person I could ask to work with," he wrote, per The Telegraph.

Following years out of the spotlight, Bush has found new recognition after her 1985 song "Running Up That Hill" went viral in 2022 when it was used in Stranger Things season 4.

That summer, the song reached 1 billion streams on Spotify and topped the Billboard Global 200 chart nearly 40 years after its 1985 release. In a post on her blog, She wrote about the song's resurgence. "[The song] is being given a whole new lease of life by the young fans who love the show."

Bush was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2023. Though she couldn't attend the ceremony, she released a statement about her induction on her blog.

"I am completely blown away by this huge honour — an award that sits in the big beating heart of the American music industry. Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me. I never imagined I would be given this wonderful accolade," she wrote, adding that music is "at the core" of who she is.

Bush has also continued working on new projects, including writing and directing an animated short film in 2024 called Little Shrew, set to her song "Snowflake," to raise money for children affected by war. In a blog post, she wrote that the process was similar to creating music.

"I love being creative in the visual medium as well as in audio," she wrote. "Working directly with the animators has been surprisingly similar in many ways to working with musicians, where you are creating through someone else's hands."

She still regularly collaborates with her son on special edition albums and packages. Bush and Albert received two 2025 Grammy Award nominations, including Best Boxed or Special Edition Package for the Hounds Of Love the Boxes of Lost at Sea and Best Recording Package for the Hounds Of Love The Baskerville Edition — both of which were art directed by the mother-son team.

In addition to accolades, Bush has said that she's interested in creating new music. She told BBC Radio 4's Today program in 2024 that she had felt the urge to "start doing something new" in the music space, and though she hasn't started working on new music just yet, she's looking forward to getting back into it.

Most recently, Bush participated in a silent album with hundreds of other artists as a way to protest AI using their work.

Andrew Watt reflects on his experience working with Elton John.

The Grammy-winning producer worked with the "Tiny Dancer" hitmaker on his collaborative album with Brandi Carlile, Who Believes in Angels?, which was released in April.

Watt, 35, compared John, 78, to "Mozart or Beethoven" when he's working.

"[He's] a little more like Beethoven, I would say, and when he's writing, he's extremely volatile," he tells PEOPLE. (John has addressed his temper over the years.)

While Watt notes that all artists are different when they're making music, he had to operate in a specific way when working with the "Rocket Man" performer.

"My job is to read the room, and if you're in Elton's eye line as he's writing, you're in the f---ing lion's den," he says. "So I would try and be around him to make sure I was close enough to when he would call for me or needs something, or I could hear what he was doing, what he was coming up with."

However, Watt "would try and be out of his direct eye line."

He notes that John writes songs "in a way really no one else writes," which has come from his time spent working with longtime songwriting partner Bernie Taupin.

"He takes [a lyric], puts it up on the piano, reads it, sees a movie scene in his head, and then scores the movie," says Watt. "And then as he's scoring the movie, he starts singing the words, fitting them into the chords and coming up with melodies based on the words and the phonetics of the words."

According to Watt, John "can't do it without the words because what makes him feel like a story."

Watt said watching the process of John making Who Believes in Angels? with Carlile, 44, was "really magical."

At the time, Watt recalls that the five-time Grammy winner was coming off of his retirement tour, which was challenging.

"He was exhausted. He was doubting himself. He was very self-conscious, very insecure at times, and we helped lift him up," he recalls.

Watt continues, "And when he got through it all, he was so proud, and it was a really, really special, special time. I'll never forget."

He says they were "capturing lightning in a bottle" every day.
