After months of waiting and speculation, Marvel has officially revealed who will be joining the X-Men reboot. The reveal was made during the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige.
While many fans were speculating about who would play Jean Grey, Spider-Man: Brand New Day had already given them the answer by introducing Sadie Sink as the character. Her appearance put much of the casting speculation to rest.
The new X-Men reboot movie has brought together some big names, just as previous speculation predicted. And adding to fans' excitement, viewers will also see Obsession star Inde Navarrette and Adam Driver in the reboot.

Who's playing Marvel's new mutants in the X-Men reboot cast?

Sadie Sink will be playing Jean Grey in the X-Men reboot. Sink, who has been deflecting the questions around her character for a long time before the release of the latest Spider-Man movie, also attended the D23 event. She further addressed the months of speculation surrounding her character, saying it was "wonderful" to finally talk about the character before teasing the rest of the cast.

In the upcoming reboot, Kit Connor, famous forHeartstopper and Rocketman, will play Scott Summers/Cyclops. Alongside him, Christopher Abbott will appear as Professor Charles Francis Xavier. Joining Sink, Connor, and Abbott are Samara Weaving, who will play Emma Frost, and Inde Navarrette, who will play Rogue. Maya Boyd will also appear in the reboot as Storm.

While Adam Driver's name has been in the speculation for a while, the rumors are cleared now as he will be joining the reboot as Nathaniel Milbury. Driver joked that when Kevin Feige told him to show up for X-Men, he thought he meant on set but instead found himself at Pinewood Studios. He also said he and Feige had been talking for years about joining the MCU and that they finally found the right film at the right time. He revealed his character in a fun way, first teasing "Mag" before correcting himself and announcing that he will play Nathaniel Milbury.
But that's not all. While Feige has introduced Marvel fans to the first batch of stars appearing in the reboot, he also added that there will be more stars joining the cast soon. However, details about when it will be revealed have not been announced yet.
Earlier this month, Navarrette, during an interview with Variety, said Mystique, when asked which X-Men characters she would love to play. She had also revealed that she met with Jake Schreier, leading many to believe that she could appear in the upcoming reboot. And those speculations have now turned out to be true. Additionally, Kit Connor has been revealed as the actor playing Cyclops, a role that Harris Dickinson was previously linked to.
