"Hell answers for me. For I am Doom." With these chilling words, Doctor Doom makes his presence felt in the latest look at Avengers: Doomsday. And the new trailer wasted no time in showing that his confidence may be backed by terrifying power.

Instead of presenting Doom as another villain waiting for Marvel’s heroes to challenge him, the special look gives fans a glimpse of a threat who knows exactly how superior he is. That becomes clear when Thor steps in to confront him, with Stormbreaker in hand, the God of Thunder looks ready to strike.

However, Doom had a very different response, something fans might not be ready for. Notably, he isn't facing Avengers alone. The mighty power that he has forced even the Fantastic Four, Thunderbolts and familiar X-Men faces to come together for a battle that goes beyond a typical superhero showdown.

With so many heroes gathering against one enemy, Avengers: Doomsday is clearly setting Doom up as a villain who believes he can stand above them all. But what made him so evil?

Let's unpack the special look below!

Avengers: Doomsday trailer puts Doctor Doom's power on full display

One of the biggest moments in theAvengers: Doomsday trailer comes when Thor goes straight after Doctor Doom. The God of Thunder brings Stormbreaker into the fight, but Doom manages to stop the attack before striking Thor with a blast of green energy.

It is a quick exchange, but it says a lot about the kind of villain Doctor Doom is. Then comes another striking reveal as Doom raises an army of Sentinels, the machines long associated with the X-Men and their battles involving mutants.

Suddenly, his earlier declaration that hell answers to him makes even more sense and even sounds chilling, making Marvel fans might end up getting goosebumps. Additionally, the threat is bringing Marvel's heroes together. Sue Storm warns others about him by revealing how Victor Von Doom transformed into Dr. Doom.

At the same time, Reed Richards is seen facing Doom amid the destruction. The Avengers, the Fantastic Four and the Thunderbolts are all part of the conflict. They're joined by X-Men stars including Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen.

Another reason why Marvel fans cannot wait for Avengers: Doomsday is that it brings back Robert Downey Jr. in the MCU. This time, not as the iconic Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, but the formidable Doctor Doom.

Chris Evans is also returning, but again, the situation is slightly different from his original MCU storyline. He returns as Steve Rogers/Captain America after the character traveled back in time and eventually stepped away from his superhero responsibilities in Endgame.

Other Avengers are Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Sebastian Stan as the Winter Soldier, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, and Letitia Wright as Black Panther. Among the Fantastic Four inAvengers: Doomsday are Pedro Pascal as Mister Fantastic/Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman/Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing.

This isn't all! The X-Men faces in the movie are Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier, Ian McKellen as Magneto, James Marsden as Cyclops, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler and Channing Tatum as Gambit.

So, Avengers: Doomsday is going to be Avengers + Fantastic Four + Thunderbolts + returning Fox X-Men characters and other MCU heroes.
