Rockstar Games has reportedly suffered a substantial GTA 6 leak of alleged UI, full map screenshots, 2 minutes of gameplay footage, the wanted system, several vehicles, and information on several new mechanics just 3 months before the extended look premiere on Netflix on August 27, 2026.
According to Games Hub, the leaked material has been circulating through an account named CyberLeek since August 18. The content appears to feature footage of protagonist Jason fighting against an NPC, playing basketball, and driving through Leonida.
Take-Two Interactive is allegedly filing copyright takedown requests against accounts sharing the leaked material. The leaked content is highly likely to be genuine because YouTube is repeatedly removing it, and anyone uploading it on social media is receiving a DMCA strike.

GTA 6: Demands by CyberLeek

CyberLeek warned that it will release more material each day. The group believes that Rockstar has broken many of its own gaming rules and so the company deserves punishment. The official mandate given by CyberLeek reads:
"CYBERLEEK was born on the networks. It has seen what gaming can be at its best, and it has watched what the industry did to it. Slowly. Methodically. One monetization scheme at a time."
The statement also includes sharp criticism of industry practices. It states that publishers sell licenses but present them as purchases and release unfinished games while labeling them as live services. In addition, they lock content already on discs, market it as DLC, shut down games, and keep the money. Every year, anti-consumer measures grow stronger, and players receive less value for the price they pay.
CyberLeek demanded that all game developers should follow a strict set of commandments.
Commandment I: Publishers should not sell preorders for digital games.
Commandment II: Publishers should not launch downloadable content (DLC).
Commandment III: Developers must protect and maintain single-player modes.
CyberLeek warned that if publishers break any of the commandments, they will be targeted. The group also declared that it will continue disrupting operations until publishers issue a public statement and apology along with a clear commitment to repair the harm caused.

Gamers are complaining about leaked footage of a vehicle fuel system, mechanical damage, lasting paint scratches, and the options to store items or weapons inside cars.
Leaked clips also include attempts to advertise cryptocurrency to the millions of people who expect to watch it. Thus, many are raising suspicion that these materials could be part of a scam.
GTA 6 leak about the protagonist Jason
One of the longest video footages shows Jason leaving a building, picking up a basketball, and then walking around the nearby area. The clip shows an unfinished interface and stiff character animation, which makes it look like it might come from an older development build if it is real.
Another clip reportedly features him driving and engaging in melee combat. Fans who studied the footage compared Jason's movement and physical interactions to Red Dead Redemption 2. However, others questioned the authenticity because the animation, interface, and sound effects didn't convince them.
GTA 6 leaked map and locations
The leaked map is more important than the gameplay clips. One of the shared images revealed that Leonida is divided into five countries and showed a large landmass which is much bigger than what Rockstar has shown publicly so far.
Further, the leak reportedly revealed locations like Gloria Keys, Catalan Keys, Tequesta Retreat, and known places such as Port Gellhorn, Vice City, and the Leonida Keys. The leaked map also exposed several airports, smaller islands, and wide inland areas.
These leaked details are much harder to confirm and should be considered rumors until Rockstar officially addresses them.
