Alyshia Rushing, a TikTok star known online as “Mama A,” died on Saturday, Aug. 22, in a car accident. She was 26.
Her death was confirmed by her mother through a GoFundMe, which was started to raise money for her funeral costs and to support her four children.
The content creator — who maintained a following of over 500,000 on TikTok, where she was known for sharing her life as a mother — was the driver of one of two vehicles in a two-vehicle accident on Saturday at 2:15 a.m., a Montgomery Police Department spokesperson told the Montgomery Advertiser.
Rushing was found by authorities at the scene with fatal injuries and was pronounced dead, the outlet reported. A female passenger in her vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital, and the driver of the other vehicle — 20-year-old Landon Dunn — suffered fatal injuries and was also pronounced dead, per the Montgomery Advertiser.

In the GoFundMe description, Rushing’s mother described the late internet personality as “an amazing mother of four, a content creator, and one of the strongest women I have ever known.”
“Alyshia was always good to everybody, had a great heart, and loved the Lord,” her tribute continued. “She touched so many lives with her kindness, strength, and love, and the loss of her has left a pain our family can barely put into words.”

She seemingly last her TikTok account on Aug. 22, less than an hour before her fatal crash, sharing a video of her trying on a wig.
