Clinton snarks at Giuliani: 'Yes, I am famously under-scruntinized'

Hillary Clinton sparred with Rudy Giuliani after the private lawyer to Donald Trump deflected accusations of his probably inappropriate involvement in the Ukraine scandal that has engulfed the Trump presidency.

“(The Washington Publish), NBC, and CNN are going after me because I’m the messenger, and overlaying up the message, Dem corruption,” Giuliani tweeted on Tuesday afternoon. “In the meantime, they have but to ask Biden troublesome questions as a result of he's protected and immune like the Clintons and crooked Clinton Foundation!”

The tweet got here after Giuliani was issued a subpoena Monday as a part of House Democrats’ rapidly intensifying impeachment inquiry into Trump's attempts to strain Ukraine to research Joe Biden and his son. This week, the outspoken lawyer lawyered up, tapping former Watergate prosecutor and assistant U.S. lawyer Jon Sale.

Clinton quote-tweeted Giuliani’s assertion and jested, “Yes, I'm famously under-scrutinized.”

The former secretary of State's 2016 presidential run was dogged by the congressional investigation into the Benghazi assault and the FBI probe into her use of a personal e-mail server whereas on the State Department, as well as other investigations by conservative entities and the media.

In a current media blitz with daughter Chelsea Clinton to advertise their new e-book, Clinton has been vocal on her personal life and defeat to Trump, calling him “a corrupt human tornado.”
