Leelee Sobieski is enjoying a beautiful birthday in New York City.

The retired actress, who turns 43 on June 10, was seen enjoying a stroll through the streets of the city on the occasion. The actress is rarely seen since leaving acting in 2012.

Sobieski shot to fame with some impactful roles in the late 1990s and early 2000s. She starred in Deep Impact (1998), Never Been Kissed and Eyes Wide Shut (both 1999), Here on Earth (2000), Joy Ride and The Glass House (both 2001).

Today, Sobieski focuses her creative efforts on visual arts, as seen on her Instagram, which bears her married name, Leelee Kimmel. She married designer Adam Kimmel in 2010.

Her large-scale, colorful abstract paintings are inspired by what she's feeling in life, she shared with Vogue in 2012. "When I look at it, I experience all these feelings about motherhood and being in love with Adam. It has the corniest things attached to it, but also it's, like, life," she said.

It was the passion and pride she felt in her personal life that led Sobieski away from acting. She shared, "Ninety percent of acting roles involve so much sexual stuff with other people, and I don't want to do that."

"It's such a strange fire to play with, and our relationship is surely strong enough to handle it, but if you're going to walk through fire, there has to be something incredible on the other side."

In a 2017 feature in Interview Magazine, Sobieski talked about getting into acting to help her family financially, but then her career took off, leaving her creatively locked in to a medium that wasn't her preferred one.

"I always said, 'I don't want to act. I paint,' " she recalled. When she'd share this with her parents, they replied, "You can't say that, because it sounds like you're not grateful. You are grateful, so you have to hold it in."

In more recent years, Sobieski has turned her love of art to VR art, something that felt natural to her because, "I've always been lost in time and space."

"When I first started doing VR, I was like, 'Ahh! I feel space this way,' " she continued, noting her pride in where her career has taken her.

"The fight in life is always worthwhile, no matter what the end result is."

Drew Sidora has been ordered to pay thousands of dollars monthly in child support, according to legal documents obtained by PEOPLE

PEOPLE first confirmed their split in 2023 after nearly nine years of marriage

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Drew Sidora has been ordered to pay child support to her ex Ralph Pittman.

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the reality star, 41, has been ordered to pay $2,218 per month to Pittman in child support as part of their divorce agreement.

The documents reveal that Sidora's gross income per month is $38,260.40, while Pittman's is $27, 449.00. Pittman will be responsible for providing a medical, dental, vision and hospitalization insurance policy for their children together, while all other expenses not covered by the insurance must be split evenly between the two of them.

Sidora is expected to begin her child support payments on Wednesday, July 1, with half of the amount paid on the first day of the month and the other half paid on the 15th.

The order will continue monthly "until the oldest child becomes 18 years of age, dies, marries or otherwise becomes emancipated, except that if the child becomes 18 years of age while enrolled in and attending secondary school on a full time basis, then such support shall continue until the child completes secondary school provided that such support shall not be required after the child attains 20 years of age."

The divorce decree also shows that Pittman will be awarded "exclusive ownership, possession, title and interest" in their Atlanta home, noting he has 45 days from the order being filed to pay Sidora $145,054.12 for her portion of the net equity in their home.

Representatives for Pittman didn't immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment, while representatives for Sidora declined.

Earlier this month, the judge ruled that Sidora could remain in their Georgia mansion after a previous order for her to vacate the property. While she was originally bound to a May 31 deadline to leave her marital home, according to court documents previously obtained by TMZ, Sidora was allowed to stay while they finalized their divorce.

"I'm grateful for the court's decision and appreciative that my children and family can continue to have stability during this process," a rep for Sidora told PEOPLE on Friday, June 5. "My focus remains on being the best mother I can be, continuing my work, and moving forward with grace, faith, and positivity. I'm thankful for the support I've received and look forward to this next chapter centered on family, healing, and new opportunities."

The Step Up actress called the ordeal "an ongoing process" in an interview with TMZ, adding, "I am trusting in the court system to do their job. We're still not finalized, but I'm just trusting the process."

While Sidora could not disclose further details of the ongoing settlement, she told TMZ, "I just want what's fair."

"I'm not jaded, I'm not bitter, I want to be a great mother, focus on my kids," she added of son Machai, 10, and daughter Aniya, 8, whom she shares with Pittman, 43. Sidora is also mom to son Josiah, 14, from a previous relationship.

PEOPLE exclusively confirmed Pittman had filed for divorce from Sidora after nearly nine years of marriage in March 2023.

In an exclusive statement at the time, Pittman told PEOPLE: "Love is a beautiful thing. Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to move on to our next chapters, independent of each other. Drew and I have decided to file for divorce. We have three amazing young children, and their mindset and growth is what is most important."

Sidora added in a statement: "After eight years of wholeheartedly fighting for my marriage, I have made the agonizing decision to release my husband with love. Although Ralph and I have decided to move forward separately, the hope is to remain friends so that we can co-parent responsibly."

Carmen Electra is aiming for a comeback similar to her Baywatch costar Pamela Anderson.

In a new interview, Electra shared she is "holding nothing back" with her upcoming documentary and book.

Electra, who appeared in the opening scene of the original Scary Movie and returned for 2006's Scary Movie 4, makes a cameo in the latest reboot-sequel.

Carmen Electra is praising Pamela Anderson for her recent comeback — with hopes for the same herself.

Electra said she is "really happy" for her Baywatchcostar's revival, which began with the release of her Netflix documentary and memoir in 2023 and then landing the leading role in 2024's The Last Showgirl, which earned the 1990s icon her first-ever Golden Globes nomination.

"It seems like she's doing everything she wants to do," Electra told PEOPLE in a recent interview, adding, "Now I feel like it's time for my edgy role! It's definitely time."

Along with Electra's cameo in the sequel-reboot for Scary Movie, which she told Entertainment Weekly was "just a whirlwind" to film, the actress is both working on a documentary and a book.

Explaining she is "holding nothing back" when it comes to both projects, the Good Burger 2actress said she knows the process will be "tough" but also "really beautiful at the same time." Electra added that it's taken her "a long time to get to this place," and there was added pressure once Anderson came out with her doc Pamela, A Love Story.

"I know when Pamela came out with her documentary, everyone wanted me to do it, but I just wasn't there yet. And now I'm completely ready," Electra shared.

Anderson's documentary, directed by Ryan White, featured all-new interviews with Anderson along with archival footage and her personal writings. The doc followed criticism from the actress over Hulu's limited series Pam & Tommy, which starred Lily James and Sebastian Stan as Anderson and Tommy Lee. Anderson was not involved nor gave permission for the project, and upon its release, called the crew behind the series, which included executive producer and star Seth Rogen, "a--holes."

As for whether Electra will follow Anderson's trend of not wearing any makeup for red carpet appearances, her response was a quick "hell no."

"Listen, I would do it for a film. I would do it for a TV series. If it's for a role, I would do it. But I love my makeup and I'm a glam girl, 100% glamazon," Electra said.

- Jason Derulo took a tumble down a small flight of stairs while performing in London on Saturday.

- The "Slow Low" singer was performing a ballad on stage at the Summertime Ball when he tripped, slid down a few steps, and picked himself back up, saying, "I survived!"

- Derulo has long been the subject of false claims that he slipped down the stairs at the Met Gala.

Life doesn't imitate art anymore, it imitates memes.

Jason Derulo took a tumble down a set of stairs while performing at the Summertime Ball in London on Saturday. Videos taken by audience members show Derulo crooning a series of soft notes during a stirring ballad, thoughtfully looking up at the sky, smiling at his cheering fans, nodding, and sensiblly looking down to see where he was about to step.

It didn't help.

Derulo reeled backward after his foot gave way on the step below, sending him tumbling to the ground. With a beaming smile, he then held a finger up, asking for the audience's patience as he recovered. "I survived!" he announced, leading to another volley of cheers.

If reading all that kicks off a wave of déjà vu, you aren't alone. Hordes of netizens, including many of Derulo's own fans, have become convinced that the award-winning singer, songwriter, and dancer took a memorable spill down the Met Gala steps. Not during any particular year — an image described as Derulo falling at the annual New York City-set fashion gala has circulated every year, for years online.

The image is actually an attendee executing a stunt on the steps at Cannes' Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in 2015. But it still has half the internet convinced that Derulo is just that accident-prone.

Derulo addressed the misidentification at the time, writing on the social media site then known as Twitter, "Lmao I'm at rehearsal in LA. Fuq ya'll! Lol."

Nearly a decade later, a case of mistaken identity had become a rampant meme that Derulo had to address again. "There's still people on the planet that think that I'd fall down the steps. Somebody that's living under a rock that hasn't seen [it] before," he told PEOPLE in 2023. "I've definitely seen some messages like, 'Are you OK?' But yeah, every single year, a couple of times a year... it's not even just the Met Gala anymore! It's kind of inching its way onto other events, but it's hilarious."

The BET Awards will also honor Lauryn Hill with the Living Legend Icon Award

Teyana Taylor will be recognized for being a "multi-hyphenate creative force."

At the upcoming 2026 BET Awards, Taylor, 35, will receive the Icon of the Year award sponsored by Hyundai, BET announced on Tuesday, June 9.

"Teyana Taylor is the embodiment of what it means to be an icon in this moment," Connie Orlando, the EVP of Specials, Music Programming & Music Strategy at BET, said in a press release.

She added, "She doesn't ask for a seat at the table; she builds the table, designs the rooms, and sets the tone for everyone who walks in. Her fingerprints are all over culture, and it is an honor to celebrate everything she represents on Culture's Biggest Night."

The Icon of the Year award "celebrates the artist who is defining this moment. This distinction belongs to the creative force whose work, presence, and vision are setting the tone right now – someone whose impact isn't measured in years but in the undeniable weight they carry in every room, every conversation, and every corner of the culture they touch," the release read.

In music, Taylor first broke out with her 2014 debut VII and most recently dropped a studio album called Escape Room in 2025. The record earned the singer-songwriter her first-ever Grammy nomination in the Best R&B Album category.

Last year, she also earned her first-ever Golden Globe and was nominated for an Academy Award for her role in One Battle After Another. She also recently starred in Hulu's All's Fair and the Netflix film The Rip.

The BET Awards, hosted by Druski, will air live on Sunday, June 28 from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Additional honorees, performers, presenters and special guests will be announced in the coming weeks.

Earlier this month, BET also announced that Lauryn Hill would receive the inaugural Living Legend Icon Award sponsored by Sprite.

At this year's show, Cardi B leads the pack with nominations in six categories, followed by Kendrick Lamar and Mariah the Scientist with five each. There are also two new award categories: the Fashion Vanguard Award for cultural impact in fashion and the Pulse Award for a creator, campaign or content series making a powerful impact on Black culture.

***To celebrate *****Community***** finally arriving on Netflix, EW is binging the beloved comedy with the cast and creator.***

Not even a gas leak can stop us from talking *Community* season 4.

On EW's latest *BINGE* series, hosts Chancellor Agard and Derek Lawrence are going through the cult classic comedy, and the time has arrived to cover *Community*'s most infamous season, which was made after creator Dan Harmon was fired (he would return for seasons 5 and 6). Guest Jim Rash, who starred as the costume-loving Dean Pelton, admits that "it was a bit of challenge" without Harmon, or as Rash calls him, "the beating heart of *Community*."

"There are certain shows that need the person that created them to be with the show," says fellow guest Joel McHale, who played Jeff Winger and was instrumental in eventually bringing Harmon back. "There's very good examples of that, like *Breaking Bad*, *Arrested Development*, *Vampire Diaries*, or even *X-Files*. And the person creates has the culture in their brain...The season definitely lost that magic part of it."

He continued: "For those of you that enjoyed the fourth season — hey, thank you so much. And I hope it doesn't look like we're sitting here complaining about the show that we were on. But, when you're in it, it is your job and it takes up a lot of hours. And yeah, you're paid well for it, but that doesn't mean you don't want to make great stuff...There's still some really good laughs, I think. If you enjoy the series and enjoy the fourth season just as much, then please tell me to shut up. But that's being in it. It was a very different feeling."

Community

While season 4, a.k.a. "the gas leak year," isn't considered to be on par with the rest of the run, there was one episode that stands out no matter the season. A year after winning the Oscar for co-writing *The Descendants*, Rash penned his first (and only) installment of *Community*. Rash says he originally had an idea, but once that didn't seem strong enough to hold an entire episode, he visited the writer's room and spotted the words "*Freaky Friday*" up on the board, and soon the plan was conceived to combine that with the staff's desire to find a story line to break up Troy (Donald Glover) and Britta (Gillian Jacobs). "Basic Human Anatomy," one of the comedy's most emotional half-hours, follows Troy's struggle to work up the courage to end his relationship, leading to him and Abed (Danny Pudi) pretending to switch bodies.

"The main conceit of it fell on Danny and Donald's shoulders, which was to basically play each other, and they both did it quite brilliantly," explains Rash. "They know each other so well. They had picked up on each other's mannerisms. That's part of the challenge and obviously they made that happen. But I think that at the core, if you stick with the emotional idea that Troy cannot say the words, and in an act of desperation convinces Abed that they've switched bodies, and Abed realizes what Troy is asking him to do. Britta starts to realize what Abed is doing for his friend, and, ultimately, Troy says, 'I have to grow up' with the help of Jeff, and switch back and be a man in this moment.' The emotional core of that story allows the concept to help it along without being a spoof. And then we were able to have fun with the stupidity of switching bodies by having the Dean just pretend like he switched bodies with Jeff for no apparent reason other than to have a speech where he said that Jeff was inside of him. And I really think that was the way to have the lunacy and also have the heart at the same time, with the same concept."

The other big dramatic story line in season 4 featured Jeff finally coming face-to-face with his estranged father (played by the legendary James Brolin), as well as his man-child younger brother (Adam Devine). But McHale reveals that this meeting most likely would have never happened if Harmon was still around.

"Well, I was just happy to meet James Brolin," jokes McHale. "It's funny because I think Dan, and I could be talking out of turn here, I don't think Dan ever wanted him to actually meet his dad. I think he wanted him to be like a [John] Doe kind of. But I will say that James Brolin is an incredibly nice man, and his son [Josh Brolin] is a terrible actor and not successful. Oh wait, he's done okay. I think the funniest person... I mean, Adam DeVine is so f---ing funny. And then you had Gillian [Jacobs] in all those scenes too, and I thought they need to do a romantic comedy because they're so funny together. Once that had had happened and that stuff got worked out then Dan did not go back to it in season 5. But I thought James Brolin was a really nice guy. I think he later said it in an interview like, 'I didn't really get the show, but my daughter wanted me to be in it,' and I was like, 'Well, I understand that.'"

For more from McHale and Rash, including Rash talking the Dean's fabulous wardrobe, watch the latest installment of EW's* BINGE *of* Community* above. And check back on Tuesday for season 5's episode with Danny Pudi.

*Community* cast on a podcast!

If all the recent *Community* content wasn't enough for you, then you're in luck, because EW's *BINGE* of the NBC cult classic has been released as seven podcast episodes, which are all available now.

With the comedy finally landing on Netflix, hosts Chancellor Agard and Derek Lawrence launched a video series in which they went through the entire run via in-depth analysis of each season and Zoom interviews with the cast and creator.

Beginning with a series primer featuring Dan Harmon, each episode focuses on a particular season and includes untold stories and hilarious memories from stars Joel McHale, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jim Rash, and Ken Jeong.

Community

In addition to the delight of hearing from our favorite Greendale alums, the biggest highlight to come out of the *BINGE* of *Community* was Jacobs' interview sparking the idea of the cast launching a giveaway of special props and experiences for charity. Part of the #UnitedAtHome series, fans can make a donation for their chance to win a guest spot on Jeong and McHale's podcast, a private Zoom conversation with the cast, and more. Open through June 1, head over to Prizeo's *Community* page to enter.

And you can subscribe to *BINGE* on iTunes or wherever you listen to podcasts.
