A report has made numerous claims around Ubisoft's upcoming schedule, including launch windows for a brand new Ghost Recon and two Far Cry video games.

It's been over three years since Ubisoft introduced it was working on a remake of the original Splinter Cell, and it looks like it'd still be a method off.

As part of a wider report on the company's present administration and future plans, which incorporates feedback from ex-Ubisoft staff, several upcoming tasks are mentioned for 2024 and beyond.

These embrace Assassin's Creed Purple for the second half of 2024, which matches up with a recent leak from a Ubisoft executive. Star Wars Outlaws, in the meantime, is seemingly slated for 'the primary half of 2024', which is sooner than thought. The title solely has a 2024 release window in the intervening time, with a since-edited Disney blog post previously citing late 2024.

In accordance with the report on Insider Gaming, a brand new mainline Ghost Recon, codenamed Undertaking Over, is planned for 2025 or 2026 and might be set through the fictional Naiman Warfare. The challenge was beforehand claimed to be in improvement in a report from Kotaku again in 2022.

Other titles believed to be coming out inside the similar 2025 or 2026 window embrace the Splinter Cell remake, two new Far Cry titles (a mainline entry codenamed Blackbird, and a multiplayer title codenamed Maverick) and the previously announced Assassin's Creed games codenamed Hexe and Invictus.

Apparently, this report makes no point out of the Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time remake, which has been delayed several occasions and rebooted with a new developer, after it was first announced in 2020.

In November last year, Ubisoft stated the remake had 'passed an essential inner milestone and improvement is progressing', however there's been no official phrase since.

The last mainline Ghost Recon title was 2019's Ghost Recon Breakpoint, which was a financial and critical flop. In 2022, Ubisoft cancelled a free-to-play spin-off titled Ghost Recon Frontline, following fan backlash.

That's doubtless to make sure that whatever the new Ghost Recon is it'll be extra again to fundamentals, and undoubtedly not a first individual shooter.
