Former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez drops hint on reason behind Jurgen Klopp's exit as he says 'I know something'
RAFA BENITEZ has dropped a touch at the purpose behind Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool exit by declaring: "I know something."
Klopp surprised the Reds on Friday when he introduced he will leave the club at the end of the season.
The German boss still had 18 months to run on his Anfield contract.
And Klopp's impending departure means Liverpool are scrambling to find a new boss who can keep on his unimaginable legacy following wins in the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup.
Klopp cited exhaustion as the rationale behind his choice, having managed the Reds since 2015.

But Benitez has hinted there's greater than meets the eye to his Liverpool exit.
The former Reds boss and Champions League winner is at present managing Spanish aspect Celta Vigo.
And he claims his links to Anfield means he "is aware of one thing else from inside" about Klopp's impending departure.
Benitez stated: "I have an advantage, which is that I have individuals in Liverpool and in addition individuals on the membership, so kind of, I know how it has occurred.&
