Alison Hammond is completely 'gutted' as considered one of her tasks is coming to an end.

The This Morning star – who presents the ITV daytime present on Fridays with Dermot O'Leary – has been retaining busy with different commitments whereas her co-star has been joined by other guest hosts with Josie Gibson and most lately Sian Welby sitting on the famous sofa.

Now Alison, 48, has given her fans a seven day warning – however fortunately her future on the show isn't at risk.

She has been treading the boards as the Spirit of the Beans in her hometown in the Birmingham Hippodrome's pantomime manufacturing of Jack and the Beanstalk.

She's been delighting audiences during the last month, but now her time is coming to an finish.

Sporting her epic costume for the present – full with a blue feathered headdress – she warned anybody eager to get tickets that it'll quickly be too late.

She stated in her Instagram Story: 'Hi everyone, I'm just supplying you with a heads up that there's only seven days left till the top of Jack and the Beanstalk at the Birmingham Hippodrome.

'I'm going to be gutted when it's over because I've liked being the Spirit of the Bean, however ensure you come and expertise such a funny, entertaining and wonderful panto.'

It comes after Alison was hit with Ofcom complaints after calling youngsters 'naughty' on This Morning.

On January 12, she hosted the programme with Dermot and sparked some uproar with a comment about youngsters staying at residence throughout faculty hours and watching the show.

Subsequently 86 individuals& complained to Ofcom, with a spokesperson confirming to Metro.co.uk: 'Nearly all of complaints associated to comments made by Alison Hammond about youngsters who are usually not in class on the time of broadcast as naughty.'

In recent times, parenting specialists have highlighted issues with calling children 'naughty', insisting it's dated and can lead to children becoming anxious and self-critical as adults.

The identical day, Alison apologised on-air after her telephone went off in the course of the show.

'Did you not turn it off?' Dermot requested Alison, as he heard the telephone ringing behind him, to which she replied: 'I did flip it off, that's not me, it wasn't me!'

She shortly grabbed her telephone and added: 'Oh, it was! I assumed I had it on aeroplane mode. Maintain on, let me turn it off. I'm so sorry!'
