Joe Biden defends son Hunter but acknowledges Ukraine work 'may have looked bad'


Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden acknowledged it "might have appeared dangerous" for his son to serve on the board of overseas corporations, however the former vice chairman stood agency that his son did nothing incorrect.

"What might have appeared dangerous however wasn't anything improper is totally totally different than whether a president has held up $400 million in help for the Ukrainian army when Ukrainians are dying," Biden stated throughout an interview with Telemundo released Thursday. "That's legal."

Biden's son Hunter, who served on the board of a Ukrainian fuel company in 2014, is tangled in a key aspect of Democrats' impeachment efforts towards President Donald Trump, who pushed Ukrainian officers to research the Biden family.

There isn't a proof the Bidens engaged in corrupt acts related to Ukraine.

When requested by Telemundo whether or not it was fallacious — even if legal — for Hunter Biden to take the board seat, Joe Biden doubled down on defending his son.

"There’s nothing asserted that he did anything that was unlawful," Joe Biden stated. "This is what I am not going to do. I am not going to — and I know you are not intending to do that — play the sport to take the attention off the offender."
