“We've loads of good individuals in our Department of Army Affairs and Public Security,” the governor continued. “But this incident was utterly unacceptable. Now, we should continue to move ahead and work diligently to ensure nothing like this ever occurs once more.”
DMAPS secretary Jeff Sandy advised the terminations to the governor, noting in documents released amid the investigation that these involved “failed to take care of the excessive degree of professionalism demanded by your administration.”
