There’s only a handful of individuals in Melania Trump‘s internal circle and three years later, most of the people and White Home pool of reporters are nonetheless making an attempt to determine probably the most primary particulars of the well-kept secret that is the first woman’s day by day life.

CNN White Home reporter Kate Bennett has been overlaying Trump, 49, full-time for the last three years and revealed probably the most full — if not still foggy — glimpse into the primary woman’s life contained in the White Home with an unauthorized biography Free, Melania.

This week, Bennett expanded on her unique view into the first woman’s day by day life during an interview with New York Journal‘s Olivia Nuzzi in a recent piece for The Minimize.

The interview covers the objective behind Bennett’s e-book — which the White Home cooperated with and then later disputed after it was revealed — and what it was like for the writer to try to get a glimpse into Trump’s life while she provides so few opportunities for the general public to see what she’s really like.

Bennett advised The Minimize she needed to reply questions she routinely will get asked concerning the first woman, like “What is she really like? What does she do all day?” to which the writer explains that Trump treats her day by day maintenance of the White Home like a job, from issues like “‘Let’s decide the visitor record for the subsequent luncheon.’ Or, ‘Oh, we've got to go over the wreaths,'” Bennett says.

“It's, primarily, a wealthy lady’s life, and that is principally what she was: a wealthy, stay-at-home mom with three houses,” Bennett tells The Cut. “And serious about, ‘Oh God, it’s already August, we now have to start out serious about the Thanksgiving desk preparations.’ For her that’s a very real work day.”

The e-book, which relies on both named and unnamed sources, suggests Trump has much more control over her life and the White House than has been previously reported.

“Not solely did Melania have power and influence with the president, she maybe had more of each than anybody else in the whole White Home,” Bennett writes in a piece about Trump’s affect in a personnel dispute.

In one other section, Bennett suggests the first woman’s infamous “I Actually Don’t Care, Do U?” jacket worn the day she visited migrant youngsters at the U.S.-Mexico border was a calculated jab at first daughter Ivanka Trump, somewhat than a misguided political assertion.

“She doesn’t care what anyone thinks about her,” Bennett writes within the e-book. “Whether or not individuals assume she is complicit in Trump’s beliefs and actions by being married to him and staying married to him or whether or not they assume she is standing by his aspect because she is a noble adherent to conventional marriage — it doesn’t matter to her.”

“There are definitely things that I find out about that may have made for actually juicy stuff for the e-book — and I hate to be a tease. But due to these relationships and since her world is so small, and she or he does that by design, she is going to know who informed me what,” Bennett advised The Cut. “And so, I don’t nor can I actually in good religion destroy someone’s life or friendship or job simply because I need to.”

Though Bennett says her carefulness still didn’t win over any favors with the White House, which said the ultimate version of the e-book was a “surprise” and contained “many false details.”

“I don’t assume that they’re completely happy concerning the guide, however I knew she wouldn’t be, because she thinks everyone is out to make a dime from her,” Bennett said. “However I do assume it’s a fair portrayal of her.”
