The Temptations are back on the road!
The iconic soul-R&B-funk Motown vocal group has announced a handful of tour dates for the remainder of winter, into early spring 2026. Taking to social media to share the exciting news, the group captioned a promo image, "Starting 2026 off strong with The Temptations Spring tour dates!"
The photo displayed the current group, comprising cofounder Otis Williams—the sole surviving original member—alongside veteran members Ron Tyson (joined in 1983) and Terry Weeks (added in 1997), and newer singers Tony Grant and Jawan M. Jackson.
Slated to perform 14 dates from late January to the end of March, the string of performances kicked off on Jan. 22 in Monterey, Calif., followed by a show in Laughlin, Nev., on Jan. 24. The next set of concerts will take place from Feb. 12 to 15, and March 19 through 29. Some scheduled cities include Morristown, N. J., Niagara Falls, N. Y., and Macon, Ga., as well as five stops in Florida: Sarasota, Clearwater, Daytona Beach, Immokalee, and Fort Lauderdale.

Timeless Hits: Over 60 Years in Music
The Temptations were formed in Detroit in 1960. Their original lineup included Williams, with David Ruffin, Eddie Kendricks, Paul Williams, and Melvin Franklin. The group, in what is regarded as its classic era, produced such hits as "My Girl" (1964)—which became their first U.S. No. 1 single—"Ain't Too Proud to Beg" (1966), "Just My Imagination" (1971), "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone" (1972), and many more.
Over time, they became one of the most successful groups of all time with 4 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles and 14 Billboard R&B No. 1 singles. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989, The Temptations also topped Billboard's 100 Greatest R&B/Hip-Hop Artists of All Time list in 2023.
The group has won four Grammys and was honored with the Recording Academy's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013.
