Drew Taggart and Marianne Fonseca are officially married.

The Grammy winner — who alongside Alex Pall makes up the EDM duo The Chainsmokers — and the model/GENTE Beauty founder tied the knot recently in a stunning sunset beach wedding.

Their happy news was announced in a video the pair jointly posted to their Instagram pages on Monday, Dec. 29.

In the Reel, set to "Champagne" by Austin Farwell, the newlyweds celebrated their nuptials while barefoot in the sand as the sun set behind them. The clip showed the two dancing separately before Fonseca jumped into Taggart's arms for a kiss.

Fonseca, 36, wore a white summer dress while Taggart, 35, opted for a white shirt and black trousers. Two white-and-brown spotted horses stood nearby.

"WE ARE MARRIED!" the couple wrote in the caption of the post.

The intimate seaside ceremony echoed exactly what the couple previously PEOPLE they wanted for their wedding.

"We're planning to keep it really small," Fonseca told PEOPLE in December 2024, shortly after their engagement. "I want it to feel very intimate, with just the people we truly love. I don't want it to feel like 'work' to get married. I want to enjoy it and feel vulnerable with our closest loved ones."

Taggart and Fonseca first met at an Oscars party in March 2023 at talent manager Guy Oseary's home. Though they ran in similar circles and both lived in Los Angeles, they hadn't formally connected until that night, when Fonseca approached Taggart at the bar.

Fans first caught wind of their romance months later, in May 2023 after they were spotted holding hands in Miami as they left a VIP party hosted by Carbone restaurant.

Since then, the two have frequently featured one another on their respective Instagram pages.

Taggart proposed in early December 2024 at Giorgio Baldi, popping the question with a five-carat elongated cushion-cut diamond ring.

Fonseca told PEOPLE the proposal itself was intentionally private before friends and family joined them later that evening.

"Nobody was there at the time of the proposal because Drew knew I wanted the moment to be just between us," she said. "Afterward, everyone arrived, and I already had the ring on. Some people already knew, and others didn't — it was so special seeing how happy everyone was for us!"

Looking back on the moment, Fonseca said Taggart was focused on creating something meaningful rather than over-the-top.

"He really wanted it to be romantic," she shared with PEOPLE. "The place was dark and cozy, with red flowers everywhere. We both love Italian food and have had our best dates in Italian restaurants. He got down on one knee and said he was the happiest man in the world with me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me."
