Kate Middleton switched up her style at the start of the state visit from Germany by wearing her hair straight — just like her daughter, Princess Charlotte!

On Dec. 3, Princess Kate, 43, wore her long brown hair straight as the diplomatic trip began.

The Princess of Wales bundled up in blue to greet German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and first lady Elke Büdenbender at Heathrow Airport with Prince William, where her hair was pushed past her shoulders and cascaded down her back.

Following the ceremonial welcome and procession at Windsor Castle, she removed her hat, and her hair fell forward more during the tour of items relating to Germany from the Royal Collection in the Green Drawing Room.

Kate's pin-straight hair marked a departure from her usual go-to, as she often sports curls or waves in her hair when she wears it down, with the new style similar to Princess Charlotte's long locks.

The Prince and Princess of Wales share children Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, and Charlotte wears her hair long, like her mom.

Princess Charlotte has straight blonde hair like her dad William did when he was younger and will sometimes add braids or bows to her hair for official public appearances.

The young royal wore her hair simple for a surprise public appearance over the summer, when she joined Prince William at the UEFA Women's EURO 2025 final in Switzerland in July.

Princess Kate apparently experimented with her hair color earlier this year, debuting a bright honey blonde hue in early September before changing it back to a darker brown just a few days later.

While chatting with actress Su Pollard at the Royal Variety Performance on Nov. 19, the Princess of Wales opened up about her blonde era for the first time.

"I like your hair, it looks a lot lighter," Pollard told Princess Kate, the Daily Mail reported.

"It used to be brown, but it's gone light in the sunshine," she reportedly replied.

Anderson explained why she chose to be waxed in that dress specifically

The Sex Education actress, 57, revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that she duplicated the dress she wore to the 2024 Golden Globes that was memorably detailed with several (several hundred, that is) motifs of the female reproductive organ.

Anderson, whose headline-worthy dress was custom-designed by Gabriela Hearst, explained to Jimmy Kimmel that the gown was unconventionally replicated for her wax figure at Madame Tussauds London.

"It's a dress that Gabriela Hearst made for me to wear to the Golden Globes, and it has hundreds of vulvas," she explained of the dress that was recreated for the lifelike, three-dimensional sculpture that stands in the U.K. wax museum.

"Many, many artisans took many hours to create those vulvas on my dress," she told Kimmel. "The actual dress was a piece of couture, and the same woman who created it created a second one to live at Madame Tussauds."

Kimmel also asked Anderson for her initial thoughts upon seeing the near-identical replica of herself for the first time.

"The weirdest thing is that it looks exactly like me in person, and it looks nothing like me at the same time," she shared. "Sometimes you stand in front of it and you gasp because it feels like it's alive, it's looking back at me. It's really creepy."

The mom of three went on to reveal her family's first impressions.

"We were all freaked out, but we all liked it at the same time. We were gasping," she recalled.

Anderson's wax figure was introduced in November, and she shared the backstory behind why she opted to be immortalized in the iconic vulva dress on the launch day at Madame Tussauds.

"When I got the call from Madame Tussauds to say they wanted to create a wax figure of me, I thought, really? Who would want to see a figure of me on a carpet rather than as a character?" she said, per the museum's website.

"Then I thought about this dress and realized, yes, it makes sense to re-create this moment at the Golden Globes," she continued. "The dress became a much bigger conversation than even I had anticipated, with so many people reacting positively for different reasons."

Anderson concluded, "I think this dress represents empowerment for women, celebrating bodily autonomy and freedom from shame. I wanted to give people the chance to stand next to it and revel in the audacity of it."

At the 2024 Golden Globes, Anderson told PEOPLE exclusively that the dress has a floral inspiration, noting what she loved most about it was that "it's covered in peonies!"

On the red carpet at the event, she shared with reporters that the dress was covered in "vaginas."

"[I wore it] for so many reasons," the actress told Deadline of the female anatomy design, adding, "it's brand appropriate."

According to the label, each motif on the dress took three and a half hours to embroider.

Pamela Anderson is embracing her family's little-known Finnish heritage.

The Baywatch icon, 58, reflected on her close relationship with her grandfather Herman Hyytiäinen, a native of Finland, in an interview with Vogue Scandinavia published Tuesday, Dec. 2. "He was the closest person to me in my life," she said in the article, adding that she is interested in formally going by the last name Hyytiäinen.

"Sometimes I don't want to be Pamela Anderson. I want to be Pamela Hyytiäinen," she said. "I would like to change my name, but they won't let me."

As Vogue Scandinavia reported, Anderson's family used the surname Hyytiäinen before arriving in Canada, when they changed it to a more North American-sounding Anderson. Anderson's grandfather, Herman, taught her Finnish growing up. As a child, she thought it was "a magical language that no one else could understand," per the outlet.

"[The language] kind of left with him," she said of her grandfather, who died when she was around 11 years old.

Anderson has made note of her international heritage in the past. In 2019, she wrote in a post on X (then known as Twitter) that her great-grandfather was the first member of her extended family to move from Finland to Canada, where the Naked Gun actress was born.

She also described her grandfather as "a healer from Finland" in a 2015 interview with Esquire. "All of his brothers changed their names, too, so I have a feeling that maybe something bad happened in Finland," she said of the family's move from the northern European nation.

Despite Anderson being generations removed from life in Finland, she visited the country in 2007 with her father, per Vogue Scandinavia.

"I just wanted to go, to feel that connection. I'd love to go back to Finland, maybe with my sons," she told the outlet. (Anderson shares sons Brandon Thomas Lee, 29, and Dylan Jagger Lee, 27, with ex-husband Tommy Lee.) "To find out more about myself, to explore that side of me. Maybe we will change my name and go back, to answer to my roots."

"It feels distant, but it's a part of me. I've always been proud to tell people I'm Finnish, even before I knew what that really meant," she added, noting that when she sees herself with the copper red hair she embraced in October she thinks, "Who is that? Maybe it's Pamela Hyytiäinen."

Elden Campbell, a center who played 15 seasons in the NBA — including nine with the Los Angeles Lakers — and later won a championship with the Detroit Pistons, has died. He was 57.

Campbell's family informed the Pistons of the death, telling the team that he died on Monday. No cause was given.

The 6-foot-11 Campbell was born in Los Angeles and excelled at Morningside High before heading to Clemson. He was a first-team ACC selection in the 1989-90 season and finished as the school's all-time leading scorer with 1,880 points.

Campbell helped the Tigers win the 1989-90 ACC regular-season title and reach the Sweet 16 before being selected in the first round of the 1990 NBA draft by his hometown Lakers.

He played nine seasons in Los Angeles, but didn't win a championship ring until later in his career with the Pistons — beating the Lakers in five games in 2004. Campbell played in 1,044 NBA games and amassed more than 10,000 points and 1,600 blocks while averaging 10.3 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.

Campbell averaged 14.9 points per game with the Lakers playing alongside Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant in 1996-97, but his best statistical season came in 1999-2000 with the Charlotte Hornets when he averaged 15.3 points and 9.4 rebounds.

Campbell also spent time with the New Orleans Hornets, Seattle Supersonics and New Jersey Nets before retiring in 2005.

It's almost time for curtains for Kristin Chenoweth's new Broadway musical, *The Queen of Versailles.*

On Monday, it was announced that her new show — which opened just three weeks ago — will close on Jan. 4, and she shared a heartfelt video on Wednesday reacting to the abrupt ending.

"I know some of you may have heard that the *Queen of Versailles* on Broadway is closing," Chenoweth said in an Instagram video filmed in her dressing room during an intermission of her show. "I just want to say that I'm so proud of this new art that we've created, and it's getting harder and harder to do."

The Tony winner went on to point out how difficult it has been the past few years for Broadway shows.

"I think about all the shows in the past couple of seasons that have come and gone, that not everybody got to see," she said. "I just love Broadway so much, and I love audiences and a live art form."

Chenoweth then thanked anyone who has seen *Queen of Versailles* at the St. James Theatre so far, and invited everyone to purchase tickets to see the show before it closes on Jan. 4.

"We'd love to see you here," she added, before encouraging people to go and see any show on Broadway right now to support the arts. "Because Broadway is the best. You have a live performance art form, and there's nothing better than to look out and share an experience with an audience."

*The Queen of Versailles* is based on Lauren Greenfield's 2012 documentary of the same name about billionaires Jackie and David Siegel trying to build a mansion in Florida inspired by the Palace of Versailles amid the 2008 financial crisis, which negatively impacted their assets and lifestyle.

Chenoweth stars in the musical with F. Murray Abraham, with music and lyrics by Oscar-winner Stephen Schwartz (featuring the first time Chenoweth and Schwartz worked together on Broadway since the original run of *Wicked*). The book comes from Lindsey Ferrentino, and it is directed by Tony-winner Michael Arden.

The musical opened Nov. 9 to negative reviews, with **'s Dalton Ross writing in a review that "the songs are just one of many problems plaguing an identity crisis of a show that doesn't quite seem to know what it wants to be." The show has grossed over $6 million so far after costing an estimated $22.5 million to launch, and was expected to run for much longer since ticketing websites had performances listed through March 29.

Chenoweth's video was cut short when a voice on the loudspeaker announced a five-minute warning to take her place for the top of Act 2 — because the show must go on, even with the end looming.**

Speaking exclusively with PEOPLE at the L'Oreal Paris Women of Worth 2025 event on Dec. 2, the MomToker breaks down just exactly how her Broadway stint came to be, revealing that it happened moments after her shocking exit from DWTS.

The influencer and mom of three competed on season 34 of Dancing with the Stars alongside pro partner Mark Ballas, and was eliminated during the Semi-Finals, despite having consistently scored at the top of the leaderboard throughout the preceding weeks of competition."Right after I got eliminated, it was not the next day, the day after they wanted me to fly out to [N.Y.C.]," she reveals, noting that she did an in-person audition for the musical.

"That was like the final part that I needed to do because I've been sending them tapes and vocals and my acting, everything that they needed," she continues. "So I did the in-person audition and then literally the next day they told me I got the part, so I was very, very grateful."

"You have like exciting news, and you just wanna shout it to the rooftops," she says. "It just feels surreal. That's the best word I can think of — just surreal."

"I feel like everything that I've been manifesting feels more within reach," she tells PEOPLE. "Like I can see it and it's there and I'm reaching it and I'm going after it and I'm just so grateful."

During a previous interview with Derek Hough for Extra, Leavitt confirmed that Chicago approached her about the role following Week 4 of DWTS, after she and Ballas did a show-stopping performance to Hamilton.

Leavitt's run in Chicago begins performances Feb. 2, 2026, at the Ambassador Theatre in New York City for a six-week limited engagement through March 15, 2026.Her appearance in the musical will be Leavitt's first professional theater role.The Utah-based mom of three and social media personality is no stranger to the show either. On DWTS, she and Ballas performed an Argentine Tango to "Cell Block Tango," one of the show's most iconic numbers.The pair's elimination from Dancing with the Stars didn't stop them from showcasing their freestyle routine.
