Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson is ready for people to see the real "character" of Sean "Diddy" Combs.

The rapper and TV producer is gearing up for the upcoming release of *Sean Combs: The Reckoning, *his Netflix documentary series about the sex trafficking and racketeering allegations against the disgraced music mogul. During an appearance on *Good Morning America* on Monday, Jackson delved into his and director Alexandria Stapleton's motivation for creating the four-part documentary about Combs' September 2024 arrest and his October 2025 conviction.

Combs was sentenced to 50 months, or just over four years, in prison for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He is expected to be released in May 2028.

"Look, if I didn't say anything, you would interpret it as the hip-hop is fine with his behaviors," Jackson told host Robin Roberts. "There's no one else being vocal. So you would look at it and just say, 'Mind your business' or 'Let me not say nothing about nothing or those things.' It would allow the entire culture to register as if they're for that behavior."

Stapleton noted that it was "very interesting" to watch the never-before-seen footage of Combs in New York City during the days leading up to his arrest, which *The New York Times* reported was arranged by the father of seven to be recorded for his own means.

"He has a really amazing knack for marketing and all of that, and he was sort of taking that into account and how he was coming off to the public," the Emmy-winning director added.

The pair tease glimpses of the footage in *The Reckoning*'s new trailer, which features clips of Combs talking to his lawyer over the phone about his legal trouble. "We have to find someone who will work with us who has worked in the dirtiest of dirty business," Combs says in the clips. "We are losing."

In another clip shown on *GMA*, Combs is seen greeting fans, shaking their hands, and even accepting a jacket from one. The music producer is later seen in a car declaring that he needs "some hand sanitizer" and a bath because he's been "in the streets amongst the people."**

"It shows you his character," Jackson told Roberts when asked what those clips represent. "What [are] the odds that you would do that in front of the camera? That's one of the moments where he forgot that he was on tape."

Despite a decades-long beef with Combs, Jackson says their public feud has nothing to do with his desire to produce the Netflix docuseries shedding more light on the allegations against Combs. "It's not personal," he asserted.

Stapleton agreed, telling Roberts that *The Reckoning* is more than just "salacious details" about Combs and the allegations lodged against him. It also includes interviews with two jurors from Diddy's criminal trial, among others.

"The real goal was to story-tell. Not everyone needed to have an allegation to be a part of this project," she explained.

BARCELONA/MADRID, Dec 1 (Reuters) - Spanish police, soldiers and park rangers are racing to identify wild boars that might be infected with African swine fever and prevent the disease from crossing into the country's domestic herd, which is central ‌to its multi-billion-euro pork export industry.

Operatives are using drones, infrared technology and sniffer dogs to find any boar carcasses for testing, ‌as well as sealing off the areas around animal tracks under highways and pipework to prevent live animals moving into other areas of the countryside.

Police have been stationed and have posted signs to turn visitors away since the weekend around Barcelona's Collserola mountain range, a popular attraction for walkers, cyclists and joggers from the city. Those who live inside the park were told to keep dogs on leads ‌and report any boar sightings.

On farms, trade association Interporc said strict controls already in place for disease prevention had been reinforced. These included testing and quarantining of new animals, ‍perimeter fencing and bird nets, regular disinfections and checks on drinking water, a strict employee dress code and proper storage of pig semen samples. Government vets were checking farms and taking samples, but none of the 39 in the area have tested positive.

'LEAVE THE WILD BOARS IN PEACE'

The outbreak has revived memories of the last swine fever outbreak in 1994,‌ when the virus reached farms, prompting mass pig culls and a complete shutdown of the country's pork exports.

Still, Emilio Garcia Muro, an agriculture ministry official, said there was no plan to launch a cull for now.

"We are going to leave the wild boars in peace, in this area," he said. "Specialized teams will be brought in ... to detect carcasses, but above all, the aim is not to disturb or kill in this type of situation."

Spain is the European Union's largest pork exporter and the second-largest worldwide, with more than €8 billion in exports annually. The sector generates over €25 billion ($29.09 billion) in revenue and employs more than 400,000 workers.

Within the EU, Spain's ‍biggest export markets are France and Italy, and outside the EU, the United Kingdom, China and Japan.

In August 2022, the Catalan authorities launched a controlled cull of spiralling wild boar populations, which had grown accustomed to venturing into urban areas and scavenging in garbage bins during the pandemic lockdowns.

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump says he will look into whether the U.S. carried out a second strike against a boat in the Caribbean that the administration says was smuggling drugs, as he defended his Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth from an accusation that he ordered military officials to "kill them all" prior to the lethal strike.

A Washington Post report on Nov. 28 that cited anonymous sources said that Hegseth gave a directive to leave no survivors, which prompted the U.S. military to conduct follow-on strike that killed two individuals to comply with the order.

Hegseth called the report "fabricated, inflammatory, and derogatory," and Trump allies have responded by questioning the story's accuracy.

"I don't know anything about it," Trump told reporters on Nov. 30. "He said he did not say that, and I believe him, 100 percent," Trump added. "He says he didn't do it."

The Trump administration's lethal strikes on alleged drug boats that the U.S. says were aimed at deterring Venezuelan traffickers was already facing congressional scrutiny, and after the latest reporting, lawmakers on the Armed Services committees in the House and Senate pledged to provide rigorous oversight of the operation.

Since September, the administration is known to have carried out strikes on at least 21 boats in international waters that killed 83 people. The reported second strike on the suspected drug boat took place on Sept. 2.

Trump could not say on Nov. 30 if a second strike had taken place, telling reporters riding on Air Force One, "I don't know. I'm going to find out about it. But Pete said he did not order the death of those two men."

"We'll look into it, but no, I wouldn't have wanted that, not a second strike," Trump said.

The legality of the ongoing strikes is in dispute. The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights has said they violate international law, and Democrats in Congress are demanding the Justice Department release a classified Office of Legal Counsel opinion that reportedly says U.S. military personnel involved in the strikes cannot be prosecuted.

Trump has threatened to escalate the attacks to land strikes on Venezuela and said on Nov. 29 that pilots should consider the airspace over the country closed. He told reporters on Nov. 30 that he'd spoke to Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro but did not say what they discussed.

NEW YORK (AP) — The last supermoon of the year will shine soon in December skies.

The moon's orbit around the Earth isn't a perfect circle so it gets nearer and farther as it swings around. When a full moon is closer to Earth in its orbit, a so-called supermoon happens. It makes the moon look up to 14% bigger and 30% brighter than the faintest moon of the year, according to NASA.

Supermoons happen a few times a year in clusters, taking advantage of the sweet spot in the moon's elliptical orbit, and Thursday night's event is the last of three in a row in 2025.

The supermoon can be glimpsed in clear night skies without any special equipment. But it can be tough to discern the subtle change with the naked eye.

Whether a supermoon or not, the moon also appears bigger when it's close to the horizon because of what's called the moon illusion. It's a strange visual trick that experts can't yet explain.

"When you have a supermoon, that effect is just slightly more striking," said astronomer William Alston with the University of Hertfordshire.

Tides could be slightly higher during a supermoon because the moon is closer to Earth, but again, the difference isn't very noticeable.

BEIJING, Dec 1 (Reuters) - China's first crewed spacecraft to be ruled unfit to fly in mid-mission will be sent back to Earth for experts to assess the damage it sustained more closely, ‌state broadcaster CCTV reported on Monday.

On November 5, the Shenzhou-20 spacecraft was meant to bring its crew back to ‌China just after finishing a six-month stay aboard Beijing's permanently inhabited space station Tiangong.

But after the Shenzhou-20 crew discovered a crack in the window of the vessel's return capsule right before takeoff, the return mission was delayed - a first in China's human spaceflight program.

The vessel's crew was forced ‌to return to Earth in a different spaceship nine days later, temporarily leaving Tiangong and its remaining trio of resident astronauts without a flightworthy vessel.

China's ‍space-industrial complex raced to remove that risk by working overtime to execute its first emergency launch mission on November 25, just 20 days after the initial delay was announced.

But the future of the damaged Shenzhou-20 vessel, which remains docked at the Chinese space station, was unknown until CCTV's ‌televised report on Monday.

Ji Qiming, a spokesperson for the China Manned Space Agency, told the state broadcaster that Shenzhou-20 would return without crew to Earth, adding that on its way back it would "obtain the most authentic experimental data", without elaborating further.

Jia Shijin, a designer of the Shenzhou spacecraft, revealed to CCTV more details about the tiny crack that permanently altered China's crewed spaceflight schedule.

"Our preliminary judgement is that the piece of space debris was smaller than 1 millimetre, but it was travelling incredibly fast. The resulting crack extends over a centimetre," Jia said.

"But we can't directly examine ‍it in orbit, we will study it closely when Shenzhou-20 returns."

Jia added that the decision to delay the Shenzhou-20 return mission was based on a worst-case scenario where the window crack might spread, leading to cabin depressurisation and the ingress of high-speed gases.

If this happened, it ‌could then rapidly overwhelm life-support systems and prove fatal to the astronauts.

In a loss for the Trump administration, an appeals court on Monday upheld a lower court ruling disqualifying Alina Habba from her position as acting U.S. attorney for the District of New Jersey.

In a 32-page ruling, the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals found that Habba's appointment violates the Federal Vacancies Reform Act.

"It is apparent that the current administration has been frustrated by some of the legal and political barriers to getting its appointees in place," wrote Judge Michael Fisher.

The decision stems from a motion from Julien Giraud Jr., a New Jersey man who faced drug trafficking and firearm charges that predated Habba's appointment. Giraud moved to dismiss his indictment on July 27, arguing that President Donald Trump's appointment of Habba, who had been overseeing the case, was unlawful.

He pleaded not guilty. The court did not dismiss Giraud's underlying criminal case.

Habba is a former personal lawyer to the president.

A federal judge ruled in August that Habba's appointment was "unlawful," though the judge's order was on hold as the legal proceedings continued in an appeals court.

In the summer ruling, U.S. District Judge Matthew W. Brann took issue with Trump naming Habba as interim U.S. attorney in March, a position that is time-limited to 120 days. He said in his ruling that while Trump nominated her in June to serve as the permanent attorney, the Senate did not take up her nomination.

Weeks after Trump nominated her to the permanent position, judges for the U.S. District Court of New Jersey appointed her deputy to be the new U.S. attorney. In response, Attorney General Pam Bondi fired the deputy, appointed Habba as "Special Attorney to the Attorney General," then appointed her to the deputy position, which allowed her to become the acting U.S. attorney again.

NBC News reached out to Habba's office, the Justice Department and the White House for comment.
