In the royal biography, "William and Catherine: The Inside Story," author Russell Myers delved into how the Prince and Princess of Wales tried to have a peace talk with Prince Harry and Markle, but in vain. The author claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's unfair treatment of the royal staff made William frustrated.

A new royal biography by Russell Myers shed light on the dynamics between Prince William, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle in the context of the treatment of their royal staff in the months preceding their May 2018 wedding. The author wrote that it was an exhausting time for the organizers and staff, who put in a lot of effort to make sure everything went smoothly. William noticed stress among the staff and offered apologies on behalf of Harry.
As reported by RadarOnline, the Prince and Princess of Wales had worked hard to create a "nice and relaxed working atmosphere." However, during the few months leading up to Harry and Markle's marriage, the calm environment they had built was completely "extinguished," causing people to leave frequently. Middleton and William were also concerned that Harry and Markle's actions could negatively affect the self-esteem of the staff working at Kensington Palace.

Since the Waleses wanted everything to be cordial, they invited the newlyweds to their home in 2018 for a peace talk. However, Myers added in his book that the conversation didn't end well. He explained that the Sussexes didn't acknowledge that they contributed to an overall stressful work environment, which infuriated William.
Myers claimed, "William accused Meghan of being difficult and rude, and according to Harry, pointed directly at his wife." Meanwhile, a source claimed that the entire atmosphere was "ugly," mentioning the fight.
