Jenna Bush Hager Shares Sweet 73rd Birthday Message for Mom Laura: 'Thanks for Being Our Light'
Former First Woman Laura Bush rang in her 73rd birthday on Monday with heat needs on social media from her husband, former President George W. Bush, and their daughter Jenna Bush Hager.
“Happiest Birthday to my mama,” Hager, 37, wrote on Instagram alongside a photograph of her mother and father and her three youngsters.
“Thanks for being our mild—and educating us the adoration of books and cats,” added the Today co-host, who lately welcomed her third child. “Nobody holds a baby quite such as you.”
President Bush, 73, also posted about Mrs. Bush on Instagram, re-sharing a cheerful birthday photograph from The Bush Middle, writing, “Wishing my pretty bride @laurawbush a cheerful birthday as we speak… and a cheerful anniversary tomorrow.” (The couple will have fun 42 years of marriage on Tuesday.)
“I’m a fortunate man,” he wrote.
The Bush Middle, began after President Bush left workplace, inspired others to send “your birthday needs” by way of a link on the center’s web site.
“At the moment, we're celebrating Mrs. Bush and the numerous lives she has touched by way of her significant work,” the group wrote in an Instagram post of its own.
