Angus King calls for Senate hearing into firing of intel watchdog

The Senate should maintain a hearing on President Donald Trump’s decision to sack the intelligence group’s prime watchdog, an Intelligence Committee member stated on Monday.

Sen. Angus King, who sits on the highly effective panel, stated officers such because the appearing director of national intelligence and Michael Atkinson — the intelligence group’s inspector basic whom Trump fired late Friday night time — must be put underneath oath.
