- Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding venue was reportedly surrounded by signs indicating a film shoot.

- A sign inside the venue also appeared to warn attendees that they were being filmed during the ceremony.

- Swift and Kelce also reportedly asked their guests to sign NDAs and refrain from cell phone usage.

Taylor Swift has authorized quite a few documentaries about her career. Now, fans wonder if a documentary about her wedding to Travis Kelce may be coming.

You might have heard by now that the "Love Story" singer married the Kansas City Chiefs tight end at a ceremony in New York City on Friday. Practically everyone in the entertainment industry seemed to be present, with over 1,000 on the invite list and somewhere between 500 and 999 actually attending.

The wedding took place at Madison Square Garden — a venue ordinarily reserved for professional basketball, hockey, and massive concerts — yet more than one attendee has described the event as "intimate" (and they didn't seem to be joking).

An onlooker reported that the streets around Madison Square Garden featured "No parking" signs for a "film shoot" that was listed as taking place from June 20 to July 4.

Another onlooker captured a photo of a large sign at Madison Square Garden notifying attendees that "photography and videography" would occur at an "event" between June 29 and July 3, and also that entering the venue constituted an agreement of "confidentiality" about said event.

Journalist Rob Shuter told *NewsNation* that he thinks a wedding documentary is definitely coming down the line. "What she's done is she's filmed it herself," he speculated. "She's paid for it, she's paid for those crews, and she'll probably edit it herself. And when she has a final product, she'll put a ribbon on it, and then she'll figure out what she wants to do with it."

It's also worth noting that Swift has an existing relationship with Disney, as the studio's streaming service, Disney+, released her documentary projects *The End of an Era* and *Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions*, and she also recently released the single "I Knew It, I Knew You" for the *Toy Story 5* soundtrack. *Variety* reported that Disney execs Bob Iger, Dana Walden, and David Greenbaum were all invited to the wedding.

We also know that AMC Theaters CEO Adam Aron, who worked with Swift to release her 2023 concert film *Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour*, was definitely in attendance at the ceremony, as he shared (and then deleted) a detailed play-by-play about the festivities.

*Variety* reported that attendees were asked to sign nondisclosure agreements so that certain elements of the event didn't leak to the public. ** has learned that at least one NYC restaurant that provided catering to the wedding was forbidden from discussing its involvement in the event due to an NDA.

Additionally, at least one guest confirmed that the wedding enacted a no-phone rule, which means that we likely won't see many photos or videos from inside Madison Square Garden unless they come directly from the bride and groom's teams. (However, that hasn't stopped tons of the attendees from sharing photos of themselves in their wedding attire before and/or after the festivities.)

NDAs at high-profile weddings aren't unheard of — Chris Evans, Jennifer Lopez, and George Clooney all reportedly deployed confidentiality agreements at their respective weddings. But those stars didn't choose to get married in an entertainment arena in one of the busiest neighborhoods in the United States, nor did they invite hundreds upon hundreds of celebrities to the festivities.

All of those details align to tell us that Swift and Kelce are maintaining an extreme level of control over what their fans see from the wedding. And since neither of them are particularly private people — and, again, they *invited 1,000 people to a basketball arena in Midtown Manhattan* *on a holiday weekend* — it stands to reason that eventually we *will* see an official look at the festivities.

***Get your daily dose of entertainment news, celebrity updates, and what to watch with our****** EW Dispatch newsletter******.***

It's difficult to imagine that Swift would reportedly spend tens of millions of dollars on a milestone event filled with celebrities and keep it to herself forever, especially since her entire musical empire is built on sharing nuggets of her personal life with her listeners. But hey, if she wants to surprise us and keep her best day a strictly private affair, forever and always, more power to her.

It's been more than 20 years since Hugh Laurie introduced himself to a whole new legion of fans as the brilliant but cranky Dr. Gregory House. Fox's *House, M.D.* (which everyone just calls *House*) premiered in November 2004 and eventually became one of the most popular shows on television for its puzzle-box-style medical cases and Laurie's oddly charismatic performance.

In addition to Laurie, the series bolstered the careers of Robert Sean Leonard, Lisa Edelstein, and Omar Epps, and helped launch the likes of Jennifer Morrison, Jesse Spencer, and Olivia Wilde. Most of the show's cast have thrived after *House*'s conclusion in 2012, though millions of fans still associate them with the medical drama, even all these years later.

Here's what the cast of *House* has been up to since leaving Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital.

Hugh Laurie earned six Emmy nominations and two Golden Globes for playing the eponymous Gregory House, M.D., the arrogant, antisocial, irresistibly watchable genius at the show’s center.

Laurie rose to fame in the U.K. alongside comedy partner Stephen Fry, appearing in *Blackadder*, *Jeeves and Wooster*, and several sketch and variety shows* *in the '80s and '90s. He became acquainted with American audiences through *Sense and Sensibility *(1995) and as Jasper in the live-action *101 Dalmatians *(1996) before becoming a household name as Dr. House.

After the medical drama ended, Laurie returned to his comedy roots with a recurring role on *Veep*, developing a fiercely antagonistic chemistry with Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ Selina Meyer as her running mate/rival/occasional bedfellow. He further developed his sinister side as an arms dealer on the espionage serial *The Night Manager*, played a small role in the miniseries version of *Catch-22*, and spent two years in outer space on HBO's *Avenue 5*. He is set to star in Apple TV's *The Wanted Man* and the comedy series *Dig* for Peacock.

On the big screen, the British actor was George Clooney’s villainous nemesis in *Tomorrowland* (2015) and appeared in the starry ensemble cast of *The Personal History of David Copperfield* (2019).

Laurie married Jo Green in 1989. They have three children: Charlie, Bill, and Rebecca.

Robert Sean Leonard (Dr. James Wilson)

Robert Sean Leonard was Dr. James Wilson, the Watson to House's Holmes. An unswervingly loyal oncologist, Wilson was the acerbic doctor's only true friend.

Leonard broke out in the Oscar-winning film *Dead Poets Society** *(1989), assuming a famously tragic role opposite Robin Williams. He appeared as Claudio in *Much Ado About Nothing *(1993), as the son of Daniel Day-Lewis and Winona Ryder in Martin Scorsese’s *The Age of Innocence *(1993), and as a rebellious WWII-era German teenager alongside Christian Bale in *Swing Kids *(1993).

After finding success in Richard Linklater’s *Tape *(2001) and his Tony-winning role in *The Invention of Love*, the actor found a home on the small screen. He followed his eight-year *House* run with appearances on *Falling Skies*, *Law & Order: SVU*, and HBO's historical drama *The Gilded Age*.

Leonard and his wife, Gabriella Salick, wed in 2008. They share two daughters, Claudia and Eleanor.

Lisa Edelstein (Dr. Lisa Cuddy)

Lisa Edelstein was Dr. Lisa Cuddy, the Dean of Medicine, whose chemistry with House laid the groundwork for a years-long “will they or won’t they” that finally came to a head in season 6. The two went through a tumultuous series of ups and downs over the subsequent year before Cuddy left the hospital — and the show — at the end of season 7.

Edelstein's early TV work includes *Seinfeld*, a five-episode run on *The West Wing*, and another five on *Ally McBeal* as a transgender woman. After *House*, the actress headlined *Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce*, while also serving as a producer, writer, and director on the series. In recent years, she has booked roles on the acclaimed *The Kominsky Method*, opposite Michael Douglas, and *9-1-1: Lone Star*.

Edelstein married artist Robert Russell in 2014, becoming a stepmother to his two sons.

Omar Epps (Dr. Eric Foreman)

Omar Epps played Dr. Eric Foreman, an uptight neurologist who frequently challenged Dr. House’s disrespect for authority.

This wasn't Epps' first time on a major medical drama; he had a 10-episode arc on *ER* as a surgical resident who infamously jumped (or fell) in front of a train. By that point, Epps was already well-established in movies. He debuted with a lead performance in *Juice *(1992), and followed with headlining roles in *The Program *(1993) and *Higher Learning *(1995). He later starred in the coming-of-adulthood film *The Wood *(1999) and the acclaimed romantic drama *Love & Basketball* (2000), opposite Sanaa Lathan, before booking a long-term gig on *House*.

Since the show’s conclusion, Epps has thrived on the small screen, appearing on the supernatural *Resurrection*, the action thriller *Shooter*, the family drama *This Is Us*, and the prequel series *Power Book III: Raising Kanan*. He’s also led films like *Fatal Affair* (2020), *The Devil You Know *(2022), and *Moses the Black* (2026).

Epps has been married to singer Keisha Spivey since 2006. They share two children, K'mari and Amir. Epps also has a daughter, Aiyanna, from a past relationship.

Jennifer Morrison (Dr. Allison Cameron)

Jennifer Morrison played the compassionate Dr. Allison Cameron, the youngest member of House's diagnostic team — and, initially, its only woman.

Morrison left *House* after season 6, with her character divorcing Dr. Chase. In addition to big screen appearances in *Warrior *(2011) and as Captain Kirk’s mother in *Star Trek *(2009), she nabbed a recurring part on *How I Met Your Mother* as Zoey, one of Ted's girlfriends. Then came her defining role: Emma Swan, the protagonist of the hit fantasy series *Once Upon a Time*.

The Chicago-born actor later booked a recurring role on *This Is Us *and played the first lady of the United States in season 3 of *The Night Agent*, but has shifted much of her focus to directing. Since helming her feature debut, *Sun Dogs *(2017), she has directed episodes of *Euphoria*, *Dr. Death*,* *and *Yellowjackets*, among others.

During their characters’ romance on *House*, Morrison and Jesse Spencer were in a real-life relationship between 2004 and 2007, when they called off their engagement. She’s been with her partner, actor Gerardo Celasco, since 2019. They have one daughter.

Jesse Spencer (Dr. Robert Chase)

Jesse Spencer played Dr. Robert Chase, a surgeon and intensive care specialist who got fired from House's team in season 3 before eventually returning to the fold in season 6.

The Australian actor launched his career in his home country on the popular soap *Neighbours* before coming to the U.S. After *House* concluded, Spencer jumped into another hit network drama, NBC's *Chicago Fire*. Spencer then touched down on Disney’s drama series *Last Days of the Space Age* in 2024, his most recent onscreen credit to date.

Spencer married neuroscientist Dr. Kali Woodruff Carr in 2020. The couple has one child, who was born five months after Spencer obtained his U.S. citizenship.

Olivia Wilde (Dr. Remy "Thirteen" Hadley)

Olivia Wilde played Thirteen, a closed-mouthed but talented doctor who found a place with House when he put together a new team in season 4.

Her breakthrough role was just a few years earlier on *The O.C.* She built up her film career while appearing on *House*, landing meaty roles in sci-fi films — including *Tron: Legacy* (2010) and *In Time *(2011) — as well as crowd-pleasers like *Drinking Buddies *(2013) and *Rush *(2013). Wilde has maintained her big-screen presence in the likes of *Richard Jewell *(2019) and *Babylon *(2022) but has also moved behind the camera, directing the hit teen comedy *Booksmart* (2019), the psycho-thriller *Don't Worry Darling* (2022), and the marital comedy *The Invite* (2026).

In 2003, Wilde married Italian filmmaker, musician, and literal prince Tao Ruspoli at age 19. They divorced in 2011. She then began a relationship with actor Jason Sudeikis. While the couple was engaged at one point, they never married, and ultimately separated in 2020. Wilde and Sudeikis have two children, Otis and Daisy.

Kal Penn (Dr. Lawrence Kutner)

Kal Penn was Dr. Lawrence Kutner, a specialist in sports medicine whose arc ended when the character committed suicide in season 5.

By the time he joined House’s diagnostic team, Penn was already well-known for the buddy stoner comedy *Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle* (2004). He left the series in 2009 and accepted a post in Barack Obama's White House Office of Public Engagement. In 2010, the actor took a break from his D.C. gig to shoot the third installment of his signature franchise, *A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas *(2011), then took a recurring role on *How I Met Your Mother. *

Since then, he's had roles on *Designated Survivor*, the post–*Silence of the Lambs *procedural *Clarice*, *The Santa Clauses*, and HBO's *Industry*. He also donned another lab coat as the head of a psychiatric ward in the horror hit *Smile *(2022).

In Penn's 2021 memoir, *You Can't Be Serious*, he announced that he was engaged to his boyfriend, Josh, but they have not yet married.

Peter Jacobson (Dr. Chris Taub)

Peter Jacobson was plastic surgeon Dr. Chris Taub, who joined the show in season 4. Taub is often the voice of reason on the team, willing to challenge House and the other doctors.

Jacobson has been a familiar face on television since the ’90s, appearing on everything from *Law & Order* to *Will & Grace* to *ER*. He’s kept busy since his *House* run, scoring recurring roles on *Ray Donovan*, *Colony*, *Fear the Walking Dead*, and FX's great spy thriller *The Americans*. Movie fans, meanwhile, may recognize him from *White House Down *(2013) and *Smile 2 *(2024).

Amber Tamblyn played Dr. Martha Masters, who joined House's team as a third-year medical student in season 7.

The daughter of long-time character actor Russ Tamblyn, she got her start on the soap opera *General Hospital*, debuting at age 11. From there, she took on the starring role on the spiritual drama *Joan of Arcadia*, earning an Emmy nomination in 2004. Lead movie roles came soon afterward, including the coming-of-age hit *The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants* (2005) and the horror sequel *The Grudge 2* (2006). After her time on *House*, she joined *Two and a Half Men* as Charlie's long-lost daughter.

Tamblyn has been married to actor-comedian David Cross since 2012; they have a daughter, Marlow. Cross and Tamblyn costarred together on the comedy series *The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret* and in the relationship comedy *You Hurt My Feelings *(2023).

It's surreal that it's been longer since *Back to the Future* was first released in theaters in 1985 than the 30 years Marty traveled back in time.

Robert Zemeckis' sci-fi trip, about a precocious teen who accidentally transports back to the '50s via his older scientist friend's time-traveling automobile, was an enormous hit at the box office, becoming the year's highest-grossing film and catapulting star Michael J. Fox to superstardom. For generations of moviegoers, Fox will always be associated with Marty McFly, as Christopher Lloyd will be with the eccentric Doc Brown.

As *Back to the Future* turns 41, we're hopping back into the DeLorean to explore the careers of its beloved cast.**

Michael J. Fox (Marty McFly)

Michael J. Fox famously stepped in to play the film's time-traveling protagonist Marty McFly in the *Back to the Future* franchise after director Robert Zemeckis parted ways with original lead Eric Stoltz, who had already filmed for several weeks. Fox had been Zemeckis' first pick, but initially had to pass due to scheduling conflicts with *Family Ties*. Looking back, Fox is proud to be part of such a perennial classic.

“It's cross-generational...in its own way, in maybe a small way, it’s become like *The Wizard of Oz* or something,” Fox told PeopleTV in 2010 during an episode of *EW Reunites*. “It’s something that kids love and don’t think about when it was made. They don’t think of it as an old movie."

Fox maintained a busy film career throughout the 1990s, in addition to winning Emmys for his hit sitcoms *Family Ties* and *Spin City*. He won a fifth Emmy for a guest spot on *Rescue Me* in 2009, and starred on the NBC sitcom *The Michael J. Fox Show* from 2013 to 2014. Fox has appeared in several roles as both himself and other characters over the years, including *The Good Wife*, *Curb Your Enthusiasm*, and *Shrinking*.

Following his diagnosis with Parkinson's disease in the '90s, Fox has dedicated himself to advocacy and raising funds for research. His efforts have earned him several honors, including the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2022 and the Presidential Honor of Freedom from Joe Biden in 2025. His life and legacy were highlighted in the 2023 documentary *Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie*, and his 2025 memoir, *Future Boy: Back to the Future and My Journey Through the Space-Time Continuum*.

Since 1988, Fox has been married to his *Family Ties* costar Tracey Pollan, who played his onscreen girlfriend. Together, they have four children: one son and three daughters.

Christopher Lloyd (Emmett "Doc" Brown)

Christopher Lloyd plays the kooky Emmett "Doc" Brown, whose cry of "1.21 gigawatts!" remains one of the film's most iconic lines. The impetus for Marty's adventures, it would be difficult to separate Doc Brown from the love of *Back to the Future* that has endured in the decades since its release — a sentiment Lloyd wholeheartedly shares, calling Doc his most lasting role.

“There’s no other character that has come up, that keeps going for 30 years,” he told EW in October 2015. “They all have their time, and then they fade away. *Back to the Future* refuses to fade away. I saw it last night, and I have to say it seems fresh and contemporary, not 1985, 1986. It has a lot of laughs.”

Lloyd has continued working in film and television since *Back to the Future*, with memorable stints in *Who Framed Roger Rabbit* (1988), the two *Addams Family* films in the '90s (returning decades later to the *Addams Family* world in season 2 of *Wednesday*), *The Tender Bar* (2021), and *Nobody 2* (2025). In addition, he's appeared on *The Big Bang Theory*, *A.P. Bio*, *NCIS*, *The Conners*, *The Mandalorian*, and *Hacks*. He has also reprised his Doc Brown role several times, including lending his voice to the video game *Lego Dimensions*.

In 2016, Lloyd wed former real estate agent Lisa Loiacono.

Lea Thompson (Lorraine Baines-McFly)

Lea Thompson plays Marty McFly's mother, Lorraine, who unknowingly develops a crush on her own son when he travels back in time, pretending to be a young man named "Calvin Klein."

“When I started to do Lorraine, it fit me perfectly,” Thompson told PEOPLE in July 2015 for the film’s 30th anniversary. “It was really easy. So I just feel really blessed that if I’m really going to be known for one thing, on my headstone, that it’s this movie, and that it was such a great product.”

After starring as the lead on the 1990s sitcom *Caroline in the City*, Thompson appeared on the early-2000s shows *For the People* and *Ed*. She then followed them up by playing Cathy Davis in the *Jane Doe* movie series for the Hallmark Channel. Thompson had a long-running role as Kathryn Kennish on *Switched at Birth*, in addition to directing four episodes of the series, as well as lead roles on The CW’s *The Spencer Sisters* and Hallmark’s *The Chicken Sisters*. Smaller parts include stints on *The Goldbergs*, *Stargirl*, and *Star Trek: Picard*. She also competed in the 19th season of *Dancing With the Stars* in 2014, coming in sixth place.

Thompson is married to film director Howard Deutch, with whom she shares two daughters: actresses Zoey Deutch and Madelyn Deutch.

Crispin Glover plays Marty's father, George, who — with Marty's help in 1955 — begins a relationship with Lorraine (to ensure Marty exists in the future).

Jeffrey Weissman replaced Glover in the *Future* sequels. Though he's acted in mainstream films periodically since the original *BTTF* (notably in 2003's *Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle*, 2010's *Alice in Wonderland*, and 2010's *Hot Tub Time Machine*), Glover has moved into several other fields during his career. He began to release music in the late '80s and also started a company, Volcanic Eruptions, which serves as a platform for Glover to release movies he's written and produced. From 2017 to 2021, Glover had a recurring gig on *American Gods**. *He also showed up in an episode of *Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities*, starred as the titular role in *Mr. K *(2024), and directed himself and his father as three generations apiece of the Muldoon family in *No! YOU’RE WRONG. or: Spooky Action at a Distance* (2025).

In 2026, a former model accused Glover of battery and fraud, alleging he assaulted her and pressured her to "serve him as a live in girlfriend/sex slave." The actor has denied her allegations.

Thomas F. Wilson plays Biff Tannen, the bully who picked on George McFly and became a major obstacle as Marty attempted to unite his parents.

“When *Back to the Future* was released, I was a homeless actor living in my car — I was just trying to get a job,” he told PEOPLE in July 2015. “Here we are, 30 years later, and I’m just basking in this unexpected glory.”

Wilson appears in the sequels as Biff and other members of the Tannen family. Since then — aside from acting — he's hosted his own podcast; uploaded on his YouTube channel; continued a stand-up comedy career; and done voice-over work for film, television, and video games, including a long run on *SpongeBob* *SquarePants* and its many spinoffs and movies.

He's also become known for "Biff's Question Song" and his business card, which answers all of the most frequently asked questions he's been asked over the years about *Back to the Future*.

Wilson tied the knot with Caroline Thomas on July 6, 1985, just three days after *Back to the Future* premiered. They went on to have four children.

Claudia Wells (Jennifer Parker)

Claudia Wells plays Marty McFly's girlfriend, Jennifer Parker, who appears in scenes that bookend the original *Back to the Future*. At the time, though, she admits she didn’t fully understand just how massive the film’s impact would be.

“I didn’t get it at all," she told PEOPLE in July 2015. "I got the movie, but I didn’t get any of the big deal or the fame. That didn’t ever hit me.”

Parker was replaced in subsequent sequels by Elisabeth Shue, though she did reprise her role in the *Back to the Future* video game in 2011 and 2015. In the late '80s, she took an extended leave from acting, but returned to it in 2008. She has since appeared in movies like *Alien Armageddon* (2011), *Vitals* (2019), and *No Evidence of Man* (2026).

Wells has a son named Sebastian.

James Tolkan (Mr. Strickland)

James Tolkan plays Gerald Strickland, who worked at Hill Valley High School and, in both 1955 and 1985, was a thorn in the side of the McFlys. An authoritarian at Hill Valley, Mr. Strickland lived a life with the sole purpose of whipping as many "slackers" into shape as he could.

Tolkan appeared on a number of television series following his time in *Back to the Future*, with later roles in the HBO TV movie *Phil Spector* and the 2015 feature *Bone Tomahawk*.

Tolkan died at the age of 94 on March 26, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Parmalee Welles, whom he married in 1971.

Marc McClure (Dave McFly)

*Back to the Future* may showcase Marty McFly's quest to make sure his parents meet and fall in love, but he wasn't the only McFly kid whose existence was at risk. Marc McClure plays the oldest McFly child, Dave. He — along with Wendie Jo Sperber (who died in 2005) as Linda — rounded out the McFly clan.

"When you read the script, you weren't quite sure what was happening," McClure told Comic Books, Beer & Sci-fi in January 2023. "But I remember when we went to the screening and we saw the movie, and afterwards [there was] this standing ovation...when you saw it on the screen, it was like, 'We just went on the greatest roller-coaster ride ever."

McClure has popped up in several roles throughout the years on television shows like *Nash Bridges*, *The Shield*, *Smallville*, and *Powerless*. His prominent film projects include 2008's *Frost/Nixon* and the 2017 and 2021 versions of *Justice League*, the latter of which remains his most recent onscreen credit.

Michael Bay helped usher in a new era of Hollywood filmmaking in 2007. *Transformers*, the first live-action adaptation of the classic '80s toy line, was a massive box-office smash thanks in part to its photorealistic visual effects and thrilling action sequences. While not universally acclaimed by critics, the film proved immensely popular and led to a slew of toy-to-movie adaptations such as *G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra *(2009), *The LEGO Movie *(2014), and *Barbie* (2023).

Launching a decades-spanning franchise, *Transformers* follows teenage Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) as he unexpectedly finds himself in a war between robotic aliens. After spending years as a child actor, LaBeouf proved his box office prowess with this leading role, while Megan Fox rocketed into superstardom.

Now, on the 19th anniversary of *Transformers*' release in theaters, we're looking at what the cast has been up to since the great Autobots vs. Decepticons war.**

Shia LaBeouf (Sam Witwicky)

Shia LaBeouf played twitchy teenager Sam Witwicky, who made lifelong friends with a team of alien robots.

LaBeouf was a successful child actor, earning a Daytime Emmy for Disney Channel's *Even Stevens*. He squared off against an evil Sigourney Weaver in the coming-of-age favorite *Holes* (2003) before becoming a reliable movie-star sidekick — alongside Will Smith in *I, Robot *(2004) and Harrison Ford in *Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull* (2008). He also headlined *Disturbia *(2007), while reprising his role as the Autobots’ greatest ally in two *Transformers *sequels.

LaBeouf graduated from summer tentpoles to more grown-up movies in the 2010s. After acclaimed work in the road movie *American Honey* (2016), the actor got personal with *Honey Boy* (2019), a film he wrote in rehab about his childhood. He appeared in a supporting role as a character inspired by his father.

Later, he appeared in the Oscar-nominated drama *Pieces of a Woman* (2020), Francis Ford Coppola's divisive, self-financed dream epic *Megalopolis *(2024), and David Mamet’s *Henry Johnson* (2025).

LaBeouf had an on-again, off-again relationship with British actress Mia Goth from 2016 to 2025. Their daughter, Isabel, was born in 2022. He was previously in a relationship with singer FKA Twigs, who accused him of “relentless abuse” in a 2020 lawsuit. The suit was settled in 2025, though FKA Twigs sued the actor again in 2026, calling the legality of the nondisclosure provisions of the previous settlement into question.

In 2022, LaBeouf said of the singer: "I hurt that woman, and in the process of doing that, I hurt many other people, and many other people before that woman."

Megan Fox (Mikaela Barnes)

Megan Fox played Mikaela Barnes, who got swept up in the Autobots’ battle after accepting a ride home from Sam.

Fox got her start as the villainous queen bee in the Lindsay Lohan-starrer *Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen* (2004), and as a regular on the ABC sitcom *Hope & Faith* before *Transformers* launched her to international fame. In what may now be her signature lead role, Fox starred as the demonically possessed, cannibalistic popular girl in *Jennifer’s Body** *(2009), alongside Amanda Seyfried.

The actress returned for the 2009 *Transformers *sequel but dropped out of the third film after a highly publicized falling-out with director Michael Bay. The pair later reconciled, and she starred as April O'Neil in the Bay-produced *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles* (2014) and its 2016 sequel.

Making a move into comedy, she appeared in the fifth and sixth seasons of *New Girl*. Recently, she’s been seen in the action sequel *Expend4bles *(2023), the AI thriller *Subservience* (2024), and as herself on Amazon Prime Video’s *Overcompensating*.

Fox married* *actor Brian Austin Green in 2010. They have three sons: Noah, Bodhi, and Journey. Fox and Green divorced in 2021. The following year, she got engaged to musician Machine Gun Kelly, and though their relationship ended in 2024, they have a daughter together, who was born in 2025.

Josh Duhamel (Capt. William Lennox)

Josh Duhamel played Capt. William Lennox, an Army Ranger who led the human resistance to the Decepticons' attack.

Duhamel's first acting role was charming con artist Leo du Pres on the ABC daytime soap *All My Children*, which landed him a Daytime Emmy. He moved to primetime TV for *Las Vegas*, during which time he began his *Transformers *franchise run.

He found an even more reliable niche in romantic comedies, starting with his big-screen debut, *Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! *(2004). Over the years, he’s starred in *When in Rome* (2010), *Life As We Know It* (2010), *New Year's Eve* (2011), and *Shotgun Wedding* (2022). Duhamel also played the title character’s father in the gay coming-of-age story *Love, Simon* (2018).

On the small screen, the actor was one half of a buddy-cop duo in *Battle Creek* before taking on a villainous role in the miniseries *11.22.63*, a heroic one on Netflix’s superhero series *Jupiter's Legacy*, and part of a ranching dynasty on Netflix’s *Ransom Canyon*.

Duhamel married the singer Fergie in 2009, and they have a son, Axl. They divorced in 2019. Duhamel wed his second wife, former Miss World America Audra Mari, in 2022. Their son Shepherd was born in 2024, and daughter Rocca de Leon was born in May 2026.

Tyrese Gibson played Sgt. Robert Epps, Captain Lennox's comrade during their battles with killer robots.

The R&B star kicked off his acting career as the lead in John Singleton's coming-of-age drama *Baby Boy* (2001) before taking on the role that would eventually define him: Roman Pearce in *2 Fast 2 Furious *(2003). He has reprised the role in six (and counting) installments over the years, making him one of the longest-running characters in the franchise.

Before becoming fully entrenched in the *Transformers *and *Fast* films, he had a string of additional starring roles, including Singleton’s star-studded *Four Brothers *(2005), *Waist Deep* (2006), and *Death Race* (2008). In addition to *Fast X* (2023), the actor has recently been seen in *Bloodline Killer* (2024), *The Wrecker* (2025), and *Vampires of the Velvet Lounge* (2026).

As for his music career, Gibson has seven albums to his credit; his fifth, 2011's *Open Invitation*, was nominated for a Grammy.

Gibson's first marriage to Norma Mitchell lasted from 2007 to 2009; they have a daughter, Shayla. Gibson has another daughter, Soraya, with his second wife, Samantha Lee. They married in 2017 and split in 2020.

Rachael Taylor (Maggie Madsen)

Rachael Taylor played Maggie Madsen, an NSA data analyst who identified the Decepticon signal during a data breach.

The Australian actress has plenty of genre work to her name, including the slasher *See No Evil* (2006), the supernatural horror film *Shutter* (2008), and the sci-fi actioner *The Darkest Hour* (2011). That goes for the small screen as well, where she landed regular roles on *666 Park Avenue* and Marvel’s *Jessica Jones*. She also acquainted herself with a more mainstream crowd with an eight-episode arc on season 7 of *Grey's Anatomy* in 2011.

While Taylor’s last movie role was the heist thriller *Finding Steve McQueen* (2019), she recently made a cameo as a stylist in season 3 of HBO Max's Emmy-winning comedy series *Hacks*.

Anthony Anderson played Glen Whitmann, Maggie's hacker buddy.

Since his early starring role on *Hang Time*, Anderson has been a ubiquitous presence on screens everywhere. Major roles in comedies like *Barbershop *(2002) and *Scary Movie 3 *(2003) helped establish him, but he moved into more serious roles as well, from *Hustle & Flow *(2005) to his recurring role as a street kingpin on *The Shield*.

He found himself on the other side of the law as Leonardo DiCaprio’s fellow trainee in *The Departed *(2006) and in a starring role as Det. Kevin Bernard on *Law & Order* from seasons 18 to 21.

Going from supporting player to small-screen star, Anderson headlined *Black-ish*, earning seven Emmy nominations for his performance and four more as one of the long-running sitcom’s executive producers. He also showed up for guest spots on two spinoffs, *Grown-ish* and *Mixed-ish*.

He hosted *To Tell the Truth, We Are Family* and the 2026 Netflix reboot of *Star Search*, and also appeared as a fictional version of himself in* Scary Movie *(2026)*.*

Anderson was married to Alvina Stewart from 1999 to 2023. They have two children, Kyra and Nathan.

John Turturro played Seymour Simmons, the Sector 7 agent who clashed with Sam and Mikaela before ultimately requiring their help.

Turturro's collaboration with Spike Lee began with the landmark *Do the Right Thing* (1989). The actor has appeared in 10 of Lee's films overall, including *Mo' Better Blues* (1990), *Jungle Fever* (1991), *Clockers* (1995), and *He Got Game* (1998). He has also worked regularly with the Coen brothers, earning Best Actor honors at Cannes for *Barton Fink* (1991) and appearing in *Miller's Crossing* (1990), *The Big Lebowski* (1998), and *O Brother, Where Art Thou?* (2000).

His role as a real-life contestant-turned-whistleblower in *Quiz Show* (1994) earned him Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild nominations. He’s been similarly decorated on the small screen. The actor won an Emmy for his 2004 guest performance as Adrian’s brother in *Monk*, and his distinctly unglamorous role as a lawyer in HBO’s *The Night Of* (2016) garnered a lead actor nomination. He got two more Emmy nods for Apple TV's sci-fi hit *Severance*.

In addition to four entries in the *Transformers* franchise, Turturro earned high praise as crime boss Carmine Falcone in *The Batman* (2022). In 2026, he starred in Noah Segan’s *The Only Living Pickpocket in New York*.

Turturro has been married to Katherine Borowitz since 1985; they have a son, Diego, and a daughter, Arianna.

Peter Cullen reprised his 1980s role as the voice of Optimus Prime, the Autobot leader disguised as a semi-truck.

Beyond the original cartoon series, he also played the character in the 1986 animated film and has remained in the role since the 2007 film.

The veteran Canadian actor has lent his voice to dozens of TV series over the years, including *Voltron*, *DuckTales, Dino-Riders*, *G.I. Joe*, and* Invincible*. He also voiced Eeyore in various Pooh projects, including *The Tigger Movie *(2000)*.* He was given a lifetime achievement award by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in 2023.

Cullen and his wife have four children: Clay, Angus, Claire, and Pilar.

Mark Ryan provided the voice for Bumblebee, Sam's devoted guardian in the shape of a Chevy Camaro.

Ryan worked as the on-set voice of various robots, which were then dubbed over by other performers. During editing, Michael Bay decided to use Ryan's voice for Bumblebee, who is mute for most of the film but has a few lines at the end. Ryan returned to voice Bumblebee and Jetfire in two sequels, voiced Lockdown in *Transformers: Age of Extinction* (2014), and voiced Lieutenant in *Transformers: The Last Knight* (2017)*.*

Ryan has been an actor on British television and the stage for many years, and is recognized in the U.K. as Nasir from the series *Robin of Sherwood*. He also had a memorable role on Bay's 2014 pirate series *Black Sails.* His other work includes guest appearances on *Frasier*,* Alias*, *Community*, and* Granite Flats*.

Darius McCrary voiced Jazz, Optimus Prime's second-in-command, who appeared as a silver Pontiac Solstice.

McCrary is best known for his role on *Family Matters* as the eldest son, Eddie Winslow. On the big screen, he booked supporting roles in the buddy cop film *15 Minutes* (2001) and star-studded ensemble comedy *Kingdom Come* (2001) alongside his future *Transformers* costar Anthony Anderson.

Outside the *Transformers *franchise, the actor was featured on the CBS soap *The Young and the Restless* and appeared on *Anger Management*,* The Leftovers*, and *Star*. Hugo Weaving was Megatron, leader of the fiendish Decepticons who sought control of the AllSpark.

American audiences first saw the veteran Australian actor as drag queen Mitzi Del Bra in the road comedy *The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert *(1994)*.* A few years later, he earned a permanent place in cinema history as Agent Smith in *The Matrix* (1999), a role he reprised in two sequels. He added an even bigger franchise shortly afterward as the Half-elven Elrond in the *Lord of the Rings* trilogy.

Weaving further endeared himself to sci-fi audiences as the title character in *V for Vendetta* (2005) and as the nefarious Red Skull in the MCU’s *Captain America: The First Avenger *(2011)*.* He worked with the Wachowskis yet again for their wildly ambitious adaptation of *Cloud Atlas *(2012). His big-screen work also includes the Best Picture-nominated war film *Hacksaw Ridge *(2016), the steampunk epic *Mortal Engines* (2018), and the acclaimed thriller *The Royal Hotel *(2023).

Sharp-eared viewers will also recognize his voice from playing the sheepdog Rex in *Babe* (1995) and *Babe: Pig in the City *(1998), as well as Noah the Elder from *Happy Feet *(2006) and its 2011 follow-up. The actor had a key recurring role in the fourth season of the Gary Oldman-led spy thriller *Slow Horses*, and is set to return for the sixth season.

Weaving has been with his partner, Katrina Greenwood, since 1984; they have two children, Harry and Holly.

- Christopher Nolan's post-*Oppenheimer* return is an adaptation of Homer's epic poem *The Odyssey.*

- The high-pedigree cast features Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, and many more.

- *The Odyssey* hits theaters July 17.**

Three years after Christopher Nolan broke box office records and took home Oscar gold with *Oppenheimer*, the king of IMAX finally comes home.

For his blank-check 13th film, the blockbuster auteur has chosen to adapt Homer's ancient Greek epic poem *The Odyssey*. The poem tells the story of Odysseus, king of Ithaca, and his fraught journey home following 10 years fighting in the Trojan War.

At CinemaCon in April, Nolan previewed his new film and talked about the process of making it, which he called "an absolute nightmare." However, he clarified that it was a nightmare "in all the right ways," adding, "We had an amazing time doing it."

Such an epic story is surely befitting of an epic cast, and *The Odyssey* features a mind-boggling lineup of some of the biggest stars in Hollywood. The jam-packed cast includes Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, and more, with Matt Damon leading the charge as our hero, Odysseus.

Ahead, we break down the unwieldy cast of *The Odyssey,* where you've seen them before, and who they’ll be playing in the film.

You know him and you love him — it's America’s Sweetheart, Matt Damon. Ben Affleck's best friend and platonic life partner played small parts for years before hitting his breakthrough alongside Affleck for their film *Good Will Hunting* (1997), which the pair co-wrote and costarred in.

Since then Damon has starred in major films like *Saving Private Ryan* (1998), *Ocean's 11* (2001), *The Bourne Identity* (2002), and *We Bought a Zoo* (2011).

Damon has collaborated with Nolan twice before, on *Oppenheimer* (2023) and *Interstellar* (2014)*. *After playing supporting parts in both movies, Damon takes on his first lead role for Nolan as Odysseus.

In a recent *Time* magazine profile of Nolan, Damon spoke about his role in the film and how "There aren't a lot of people in their mid-50s as protagonists in these epics. I looked at this like the last movie I'd ever do."

However, Damon is far from retiring — he just approached the movie as the unique opportunity that it was.

"Movies like this are not getting made anymore," he mused. "To do this without a green screen, the way that David Lean would have done it, I don't know anybody, with the exception of Chris, that's even trying to do that."

Tom Holland as Telemachus

Tom Holland shot to A-list status after being plucked from relative obscurity to play Peter Parker/Spider-Man in *Captain American: Civil War* (2016). That followed a momentous deal between Marvel and Sony to share the film rights for the character and fold him into the MCU.

In addition to his superhero work, Holland has starred in *The Devil all the Time* (2020) and *Chaos Walking* (2021)*. *In *The Odyssey*, Holland plays Odysseus's son and the prince of Ithaca, Telemachus, who is in search of his missing father.

Speaking about the experience of working on his first Nolan film, Holland said he was so impressed by the director's process that he began pressuring his *Spider-Man* producers to do better.

"I was really able to lay down the law and say, 'We are not going to come to set and figure it out,'" Holland told *GQ* in a feature from earlier this month about the making of *The Odyssey*.

"'We need to know why we are making this movie beyond the fact that it's *Spider-Man 4* and they make loads of money and we're going to just have a big summer,'" he continued. "'Why are we making this movie?'"

Anne Hathaway as Penelope

Universal Pictures

Anne Hathaway became a pop culture princess after starring in 2000s comedies like *The Devil Wears Prada* (2006)*, The Princess Diaries* (2001)*, *and *Ella Enchanted* (2004)*.* But she moved on to more mature fare in the late 2000s and 2010s, like *Rachel Getting Married* (2008)*, Les Misérables* (2012)*, *and *Dark Waters* (2019)*.*

She also dabbled in prestige TV with the 2022 miniseries *WeCrashed,* about the downfall of the co-working-space company WeWork.

*The Odyssey* reunites Hathaway and Nolan after they worked together on *The Dark Knight Rises* *(*2012) and *Interstellar*. The *Armageddon Time* actress will play Penelope, Odysseus' wife and Telemachus' mother, who must contend with a number of suitors while her husband is gone.

Hathaway talked about the character in the same *Time *magazine feature on the making of the film, and she admitted how impressed she was with the way that Nolan had characterized Penelope.

"There's this impression of Penelope that she’' kind of the picture of modesty. She's the picture of patience," Hathaway said. "And I said, 'Chris, if I'm not mistaken, you've written someone who is full of fury and you seem to be implying that she's actually Odysseus' equal.' I found her to be this volcano of a human that was always simmering. It was really fun when she finally exploded."

Robert Pattinson as Antinous

R-Patz quietly appeared as Cedric Digory in *Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire* (2005)*,* but his life was forever changed when he took on the role of Edward Cullen in the *Twilight* movies.

Since graduating from the YA fantasy series, Pattinson has become one of our most interesting actors, straddling the space between indie and mainstream filmmaking. The English star went crazy with Willem Dafoe in *The Lighthouse* (2019)*,* had a baby in outer space in *High Life* (2018)*, *ran from the law in *Good Time* (2017)*,* and even played the Dark Knight in *The Batman* (2022)*.*

While Pattinson was not Nolan's own Dark Knight, he did act for the director in 2020's *Tenet*. *The Odyssey* marks their second collaboration, in which Pattinson will be playing Antinous, one of Penelope's many suitors.

Pattison has likened the character to a surprising inspiration: the shady hustler Lester Diamond in Martin Scorsese's gangster classic *Casino*.

"My character's a little like James Woods in *Casino,*" the *Die My Love* star explained to *GQ*. "That was my inspiration for it. I thought it'd be quite nice to see it in Ithaca. And he's like a little sleazy. I kept saying at my costume fitting, I was like, 'I really want to have leopard underpants.' I want to have it just coming out of my skirt, a little sparkly fur."

Lupita Nyong'o broke out through her blistering performance in Steve McQueen's *12 Years a Slave*, which earned the actress her first Academy Award with only her second feature film credit.

Since then she's lent her talents to movies like *Black Panther* (2018)*, Us* (2019)*, A Quiet Place: Day One* (2024)*, The Wild Robot* (2024)*, *and three *Star Wars* sequel films. She's also done voice work on TV shows like *Big Mouth* and *Human Resources*.

Nyong'o joins *The Odyssey* in a dual role, as Helen of Troy and Helen's sister, Clytemnestra. Helen is the wife of Menelaus and considered to be the most beautiful woman in the world, and her abduction is what kicks off the Trojan War. Meanwhile, Clytemnestra is in an unpleasant marriage to Agamemnon.

In an interview with *Elle UK*, Nyong'o admitted that she wasn't familiar with the film's source material.

"I really had no idea what *The Odyssey* was," she admitted. "I was like, 'Oh, snap, I don't know the first thing about this.' So it was a crash course. I picked up the books and read them immediately. I have this film to thank for my Greek-mythological education."

However, she didn't actually "pick up" the books — she listened to *The Odyssey* and *The Iliad* as audiobooks, narrated by Audra McDonald, and had a great time doing it.

"It is the best audiobook I have ever listened to," Nyong'o said.

Zendaya as Athena

New Hollywood it girl Zendaya began her career as a child actor on Disney Channel shows like *Shake It Up* and *Good Luck Charlie* in the early 2010s.

Though she became famous as a familiar face on children's TV, by 2019 she transitioned to what would be her "I Can't Be Tamed" Miley Cyrus moment by playing Rue on *Euphoria*. The role would eventually earn her two Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe.

In her adult era, Zendaya has appeared in mainstream and indies alike — from her acclaimed turn as the Fremen Chani in the *Dune* saga and playing MJ alongside her boyfriend in the MCU's *Spider-Man* series to one member of a tennis-playing love triangle in *Challengers* (2024) and a wife-to-be with a damning secret in this year's *The Drama*.

Zendaya joins *The Odyssey* in the role of Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom, warfare, and handicraft, who serves as a guardian over Odysseus on his journey.

Speaking with *Elle* earlier this year, Zendaya expressed a kinship with her character, due to the fact that people in her life and career have often regarded her as "an old soul." She added, "In many ways, it feels very fitting that that would be the pairing for me."

Charlize Theron has graced the silver screen since 1995, starting her career in an uncredited role in a direct-to-video *Children of the Corn* sequel. But by 1997, she had already come to further prominence as the leading lady in *The Devil's Advocate* opposite Keanu Reeves, as well as appearing in *Mighty Joe Young* (1998) and *Cider House Rules* (1999)

The performance that put her on the map was playing serial killer Aileen Wuornos in the 2003 biographical drama *Monster*, for which she took home the Academy Award for Best Actress. Since then Theron has maintained her place among the A-list by starring in movies like *Mad Max: Fury Road* (2015)*, Prometheus* (2012)*, Atomic Blonde* (2017)*, *and *Long Shot* (2019)*.*

Theron will be taking on the role of Calypso, a nymph who tries to keep Odysseus from going home so that he can remain as her immortal husband forever.

In an interview with *US Screen Digest*, Theron admitted that her role is very small, but she had a great time filming it.

"I was literally on that movie for, like, four breaths, it was so quick," the *Apex* actress said. "But they were amazing breaths."

Benny Safdie as Agamemnon

Benny Safdie began his career as a director alongside his brother, Josh, helming distinct and anxiety-fueled indies like *Good Time*, *Heaven Knows What* (2014)*, *and *Daddy Longlegs* (2009)*.*

The directing duo received awards buzz for 2019's *Uncut Gems*, after which the pair broke off. Benny went on to pursue acting — in movies like *The Curse* (2023), *Happy Gilmore 2* (2025)*, *and *Licorice Pizza* (2021)* — *in addition to directing *The Smashing Machine* (2025).

Safdie appeared in *Oppenheimer* as the father of the hydrogen bomb, Edward Teller, and he reteams with Nolan as the Greek king of Mycenae and Clytemnestra's husband, Agamemnon. In the Trojan War, Agamemnon was commander of the Greek forces.

In a 2025 interview for *Time*, Safdie revealed that he was working on *The Smashing Machine* when Nolan contacted him with some tips for his role in *The Odyssey*.

"I was in the middle of editing when Chris called me and was like, 'How's your body?'" he said. "And I was like, 'What do you mean? Like, how's it holding up in the edit?' And he says, 'No, I want you to be in this and you have to be in better shape.'"

Jon Bernthal has become a recognizable character actor across film and television, first achieving recognition for his portrayal of Shane Walsh on *The Walking Dead*. He became more of a name after playing Frank Castle, a.k.a. the Punisher, on Netflix's Marvel series *Daredevil* and *The Punisher*.

Bernthal has worked with directors like Martin Scorsese (*The Wolf of Wall Street*), Denis Villeneuve (*Sicario*), and Lena Dunham (*Sharp Stick*), and has had a healthy career on the stage as well. He recently starred opposite his *The Bear* costar Ebon Moss-Bachrach in the Broadway adaptation of *Dog Day Afternoon*.

For his first Nolan film, Bernthal plays Menelaus, husband to Helen of Troy, brother to Agamemnon, and the Greek king of Sparta. In a discussion for *Esquire* in May, Bernthal praised Nolan's "inhuman" work ethic.

"There's no one working as hard as him," he said. "It is almost inhuman, his appetite and hunger to work and to drive forward. He is the quintessential perfect leader. You would follow him anywhere."

You might have grown up recognizing John Leguizamo's voice from the *Ice Age* movies, but the actor is far more than Sid the Sloth.

Though he started as a stand-up comic over 40 years ago, Leguizamo has since appeared in more than 100 movies, in addition to numerous television roles and Broadway performances. Just a few of the titles in his filmography include *John Wick* (2014)*, Carlito's Way* (1993)*, Moulin Rouge* (2001)*, *and *Summer of Sam* (1999)*.*

He has also produced films and written for the stage. His one-man-show *Freak* earned him two Tony nominations, and he received a Special Tony Award in 2018.

Leguizamo plays Odysseus' devoted servant and swineherd Eumaeus. In a conversation last year with PEOPLE, the *Romeo + Juliet* actor raved about his first experience working with Nolan.

"It was like being with a visionary — like what I imagine it must have been like to work with Stanley Kubrick," he said. "Somebody creating worlds, and who thinks in a different way than the rest of us."

English actress Samantha Morton has worked for many years in independent films, though she's appeared in blockbusters like *Minority Report* (2002) and* Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them* (2016) as well.* *

However, her bread and butter is dark period dramas like *Libertine* (2004) and the TV adaptation of *Jane Eyre* (1997)*. *She's received nominations from the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes, and the Emmys, taking home the Globe for Best Supporting Actress — Series, Miniseries or Television Film for her performance in *Longford* (2006)*.*

Morton plays the witch goddess Circe in *The Odyssey*, and she enjoyed her experience working with Nolan.

"The auteurs all have something extraordinary about them," she told *The Times* in December. "Otherwise they wouldn't be where they are. But it's through working with a lot of appalling directors that you really appreciate the great ones. And there are some absolutely great ones, and I've been fortunate enough to work with some of the greats."

Mia Goth is set to play Melantho, a maidservant of Odysseus and Penelope who reveals herself to be disloyal. The English actress made a splash with her bold debut in Lars Von Trier's erotic drama *Nymphomaniac *(2013)*.*

Goth started in arthouse cinema and has has continued to work in that realm. She impressively led Ti West’s horror trilogy *X* playing multiple roles and has also collaborated with Claire Denis (*High Life*), Luca Guadagnino (*Suspiria*), Brandon Cronenberg (*Infinity Pool*), and Guillermo del Toro (*Frankenstein*).

Goth has called working on *The Odyssey* "one of the greatest experiences of my life," in an interview with *The Hollywood Reporter*.

"It really was. It was profound," she continued. "I've been such a fan of [Nolan's" work for years. And so to have that opportunity and to witness him and how he directs was incredible. I took a lot from that. The trust that he has in actors was enlightening."

Himesh Patel as Eurylochus

Himesh Patel first gained prominence as many English actors do: as a regular on the BBC soap opera *EastEnders*. He graduated from the series to Channel 4's* Damned* and HBO's *Station Eleven*, the latter of which earned him an Emmy nomination.

Patel made his feature film debut starring in Danny Boyle's *Yesterday* (2019), and he can also be seen in *Don't Look Up* (2021), *Enola Holmes 2* (2022) and the upcoming *Enola Holmes 3*, and *The Assessment* (2024)*. *Patel has collaborated with Nolan once before, playeding Mahir in *Tenet*.

Patel will be playing Odysseus' brother-in-law and second-in-command, Eurylochus, and he doesn't take for granted the fact that Nolan liked him enough to keep working with him.

"He has a sort of in-house mentality with the people he works with," Patel told *The Hollywood Reporter* in June. "I had a lot of fun on *Tenet* and got on really well with him, and I think that has a lot to do with it. He certainly doesn't need to ask anyone back."

Nolan cast Travis Scott in the role of a bard because of the parallels between the rapper's primary profession and the nature of *The Odyssey* itself.

"I cast him because I wanted to nod towards the idea that this story has been handed down as oral poetry, which is analogous to rap," Nolan told *Time*.

Scott hasn't spoken about his role in the film directly, but he told *Rolling Stone** *in January that he has wide creative interests. That would seem to include dabbling in acting.

"I'm just into all things creative," the "Sicko Mode" rapper explained. "I might not be the best in everything. That's how I can respect working with other people in certain fields that I'm not so good in."

In his music career, Scott has had five songs take the top spot on the *Billboard* Hot 100 and more than 100 songs that have charted. Along with five Grammy nominations, he's taken home honors from the Latin Grammys, Billboard Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, and BET Hip Hop Awards.

Scott also had a highly publicized relationship with Kylie Jenner, with whom he shares two children.

Elliot Page as Sinon

Elliot Page as Sinon in 'The Odyssey'

Elliot Page as Sinon in 'The Odyssey'.

Elliot Page reunites with Nolan more than 15 years after appearing in *Inception*, joining the cast of *The Odyssey* as Sinon. Sinon is Odysseus' cousin and a Greek soldier who fought alongside him in the Trojan War.

Page became the fourth-youngest nominee for the Academy Award for Best Actress at the time when he was nominated for his performance in the coming-of-age comedy *Juno* (2007)*. *Page gained fame during the late 2000s and 2010s, starring in *Hard Candy* (2005)*, Whip It* (2009), *Flatliners* (2017), and two *X-Men* movies.

Since coming out as a transgender man in 2020, Page has become a bit more low-key, aside from TV work on *The Umbrella Academy* and *Tales of the City*. He also wrote and starred in the 2023 indie drama *Close to You*. *The Odyssey* marks Page’s return to mainstream film and his first major movie role as a trans man.

For Page, getting to reunite with Nolan was very meaningful.

"To come back now, as you can imagine, being more just comfortable in yourself makes these sorts of projects more enjoyable," Page said at a New York Comic-Con panel in October. "To get to have a Chris Nolan experience again now — that actually, really just meant so much to me.”
