The old guy’s still got it. Or the old guys still got it, we should say. Because Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and Kawhi Leonard are putting together special years for their ages, too.

Where do Durant and Curry rank on an age-37 scale? Pretty high! In fact, only three players ever have averaged 25 points per game at 37 years old, and two of them — Durant and Curry — are doing it this season. (The other is, of course, LeBron.)

Only 12 players ever made an All-Star team at age 37, including Durant and Curry. Only three of them — LeBron, Kareem and Karl Malone — made an All-NBA team at 37. So, you could also make a good case Durant is enjoying the best age-37 regular season ever:

Only Abdul-Jabbar made the All-NBA Second Team at age 37 (both James and Malone were members of the Third Team), and Durant has a considerable opportunity to join him.

James’ Los Angeles Lakers failed to make the playoffs in his age-37 season. Malone’s Utah Jazz lost in the 2001 first round. Abdul-Jabbar led his Lakers to a championship, winning Finals MVP honors. So, it will be tough for Durant to match that feat, even if he currently ranks second in the NBA in total minutes for a 50-win Houston Rockets team.

As far as regular seasons go, though, Durant is the reason why Houston still has a top-10 offense, despite losing both Fred VanVleet and Steven Adams to season-ending injuries. He is averaging a 26-5-5 on 52/41/88 shooting splits. Only Al Horford, who was a fifth option on the 2024 NBA champion Boston Celtics, was more efficient at 37 years old.

Curry might have joined Durant on an All-NBA team if he had not failed to meet the NBA’s 65-game requirement. In 40 games, he is averaging a 27-4-5 on 47/39/93 shooting splits. His shortened season absolutely still qualifies as one of the greatest age-37 years in history.

Most surprising, though, might be where Leonard ranks on an age-34 scale. He is averaging a 28-6-4 on 51/38/90 shooting splits, arguably his best regular season in a Hall of Fame career, for a Los Angeles Clippers team bound for the play-in tournament.

He, too, could crack the All-NBA First or Second Team. In which case, he would join another extremely short list of players who have accomplished that feat at age 34:

Again, there is a pretty good argument to be made — one based on Player Efficiency Rating — that Leonard is enjoying the greatest statistical age-34 regular season ever.

To be fair: It is hard to top Michael Jordan’s age-34 season. In 1997-98, he led his Chicago Bulls to a sixth championship in eight years, sweeping the regular-season and Finals MVP awards. For good measure, Jordan also made the All-Defensive First Team at 34 years old.

However, Leonard is averaging comparable numbers to ‘98 Jordan on better efficiency (Kawhi: 63.0 TS%; Jordan: 53.3 TS%), which explains the PER gap. There is also an All-Defensive case for Leonard this season, as he is among the NBA’s leaders in both steals and deflections. Only Nikola Jokić (+16.7) and Victor Wembanyama (+15.7) own a higher on/off efficiency rating than Leonard (+14.7) among NBA regulars, per Cleaning the Glass.

It is a testament to this year’s MVP field that Leonard could be enjoying a statistically comparable season to ‘98 Jordan and finish no higher than fifth in the voting. That is how good Jokić, Wembanyama, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Luka Dončić have been this season.

It is also no guarantee Leonard even cracks the All-NBA First Team, since Jaylen Brown is enjoying a comparable season (29-7-5 on 48/35/80; 22.2 PER) for a better team. Plenty of other candidates, including Donovan Mitchell, warrant serious consideration.

Should Leonard make the All-NBA Second Team instead, he will be the first non-center to log a 28.1 PER and fail to make the All-NBA First Team since 27-year-old Durant in 2015-16.

In other words, either compare Leonard’s age-34 campaign to Jordan’s at the same age or to prime Durant. Either one. Point being: We are witnessing some of the best age-34, age-37 and age-41 seasons, all at the same time, courtesy of Leonard, Durant and James.

Appreciate them while you can, for none of them may make it out of the opening round. Partly because Gilgeous-Alexander and Wembanyama are respectively enjoying two of the greatest age-27and age-22 seasons ever. The same could be said of Jokić at age 30, Dončić at age 26, Cooper Flagg at age 19 and more. It is an embarrassment of NBA riches.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks appear headed for a breakup. On top of everything else that’s transpired this season, Antetokounmpo’s feud with the team over his return to play following a calf injury appears to be the nail in the coffin for the partnership.

But to gloss over everything that came before Antetokounmpo’s calf injury would be foolish, because the entire season has been a mess for both sides, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania, who outlined everything that has gone wrong for the Bucks during the 2025-26 NBA season.

The piece paints an ugly picture, one that features veteran Bobby Portis telling teammates, “This is why we suck,” another source describing the year as “like a funeral,” and Antetokounmpo and his representation telling the Bucks it was time to part ways at least twice.

That last revelation shouldn’t necessarily come as a surprise, as it was well known the Bucks were shopping Antetokounmpo last offseason and at the trade deadline. But what is surprising is that Antetokounmpo and his agent reportedly approached the team at least two times about moving on, something Antetokounmpo said he would never do.

But apparently that edict changed, as Charania reported Antetokounmpo and his agent contacted the Bucks a few weeks into the season and a few weeks prior to the trade deadline with the same message: It’s time to part ways.

Antetokounmpo, however, declined to go public with the request, believing the situation could be resolved “professionally” behind the scenes, per ESPN.

"Giannis has wanted to handle this professionally by being very up front with the team," one source with direct knowledge of the situation said. "This could have been a happy resolution but instead might end up being a nasty breakup."

A trade never happened. While multiple teams reportedly reached out to the Bucks about a trade for Antetokounmpo, a few believed the Bucks had no desire to make a move due to delayed responses to trade offers. Other teams believed the Bucks wanted too much in a deal, reportedly asking the Cleveland Cavaliers for Evan Mobley and the Philadelphia 76ers for VJ Edgecomb, in addition to other players.

The Bucks reportedly considered an offer from the Miami Heat, which allegedly included Tyer Herro, Kel’el Ware and other players and draft picks, per Charania, but the Bucks eventually declined.

With Antetokounmpo at odds with the team, other aspects of the organization also fell apart. Head coach Doc Rivers reportedly tried to rally the team at a key point in the season, only to have his message rub players the wrong way and lead to a brief benching for Kyle Kuzma. That was just one example of “the theme of a season-long disconnect between Rivers and the players,” sources told Charania.

Changes are undoubtedly coming to the Bucks in the offseason. Following his feud with the team over his return to play, Antetokounmpo finally appears to be truly on his way out. Bucks officials are also expected to make a decision on Rivers, who could find himself out of the organization or in a different role next season.

All of this has been known — or at least assumed — for quite some time now. But by failing to take action on multiple fronts, the Bucks appear to have made the whole thing worse during a season the franchise would almost certainly like to erase from its memory the instant it’s over.

President Donald Trump appeared in a new photo on Easter Sunday wearing two Band-Aids on his right hand, reigniting online chatter about his physical well-being after a multiday gap in his public schedule.

Donald Trump was spotted with Band-Aids amid health rumors

Trump resurfaced on Easter Sunday at his Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia. In a photo shared by influencer Meaghan Marie, he posed with his usual thumbs-up and a wide smile. But what stood out were two Band-Aids – one on his right thumb and another on his right index finger.

The photo also showed slight discoloration on the back of his right hand. This isn’t entirely new. In the past, the White House has said such marks are linked to a chronic bruise that is often covered with makeup.

Now, the timing of the sighting is what added to the buzz. Trump had not made a public appearance since the Iran war address earlier in the week, which led to unverified rumors that he had been hospitalized. The White House pushed back strongly, saying he had been working through the Easter weekend.

This isn’t the first time Donald Trump has been seen with Band-Aids. In December, similar bandaging on his hand was explained as a result of frequent handshaking. Months earlier, during a golf trip to Scotland, he was also photographed with multiple fingers covered in small bandages.

A medical report from July 17 had diagnosed him with chronic venous insufficiency and linked the bruising on his hand to both handshaking and long-term aspirin use. Trump himself said in an interview earlier this year that he has been taking 325 milligrams of aspirin daily for 25 years, which is higher than the usual recommended dose. There could be a simpler explanation, too. Golfers often use tape or Band-Aids to prevent blisters, something even Tiger Woods has done.

Despite the speculation around Donald Trump’s health, the White House has continued to dismiss concerns. For now, there has been no official indication of any new health issue.

The life of North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un’s young teenage daughter is shrouded in mystery; even such basic details as her name and age have never been officially confirmed. But she may be poised to one day become the country’s next leader.

South Korea’s spy agency said on Monday that intelligence indicates that Kim’s teenage daughter is in line to be his heir, according to lawmakers who attended a closed-door meeting with the country’s National Intelligence Service (NIS).

NIS Director Lee Jong-seok said that the girl could be considered to be her father’s successor as he fielded questions from lawmakers about her political positioning, according to the lawmaker Lee Seong Kweun, who spoke in a briefing following the meeting.

Kim’s daughter is reportedly named Kim Ju Ae and around the age of 13. She has been called Kim’s “most beloved” and “respected” child by state media. North Korea has not released details on the girl, but public appearances with her father since 2022 have stirred speculation that she is being positioned to succeed him.

Kim has historically been secretive about his family. He introduced his wife, Ri Sol-Ju, to the public only well after they had been married. It is believed that the girl in question is the second of the leader’s three children, but the number and order have not been confirmed.

Reports of Kim’s daughter’s name come from former NBA player Dennis Rodman, who told The Guardian he held Un’s daughter during a 2013 trip to the North Korean capital, Pyongyang.

She made her first public appearance in 2022, when Kim brought her to the launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile. By 2023, she was appearing more frequently in public with her father and was featured on some of the country’s stamps.

The NIS told South Korean lawmakers in March 2023 that the girl was being home-schooled in Pyongyang and enjoyed horseback riding, skiing, and swimming, The reported.

The agency said she was her father’s “most likely” heir in January 2024, its first such assessment on the possible succession.

The North Korea news agency KCNA published photos last month of the girl driving an army tank with her father riding behind her. Earlier in March, state media published photos of the two firing pistols during an inspection of an ammunition factory.

The NIS said on Monday that the photos of the leader’s daughter were meant to eliminate doubts about a female heir and stress her military capability, according to lawmakers. Since its founding in 1948, North Korea has never had a female supreme leader.

South Korean ruling Democratic Party lawmaker Park Sun-won said that the photos of the girl are meant to pay “homage” to Kim’s military appearances when he was preparing as the heir to his father, Kim Jong Il, who died in 2011.

The NIS director said when asked if the current supreme leader’s sister, Kim Yo Jong—regarded as North Korea’s number two political figure—opposes his daughter’s potential rise that Kim Yo Jong has no independent power, lawmaker Lee said during the briefing on Monday, citing “reliable intelligence” from the NIS.

South Korean lawmakers also said earlier this year that Kim was taking steps to position his daughter as his heir, citing the NIS.

"In the past, the NIS described Kim Ju Ae as being 'in study as successor' but today the expression used was that she 'was in the stage of being internally appointed successor,’” Lee said to reporters after a closed-door briefing with representatives of the spy agency in February.

Neither of Kim’s other reported children have ever been seen in public, and no child’s existence, aside from that of the daughter believed to be his heir, has been confirmed by the state’s leadership.

If the girl succeeds her father, the family’s rule would extend into a fourth generation.

Sophie and Edward chose to forgo royal titles for their children

Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, and Lady Louise surprisingly skipped the royal family's Easter church outing.

King Charles and Queen Camilla led a traditional contingent of British royal family members in attending the Easter Matins Service at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on April 5, but Prince Edward's wife and daughter were missing.

According to the Daily Express, Sophie, 61, was unable to make it because she was "under the weather" and had planned to attend before dropping out at the last minute.

Meanwhile, a source told the outlet that Lady Louise, 22, was off at college at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, where classes are still in session. Lady Louise is in her final year at the Scottish college where her cousin Prince William famously met his wife, Kate Middleton, in 2001.

Prince Edward, 62, and son James, Earl of Wessex, 18, represented the family at the Easter church service, where they joined the King, Queen, Princess Anne, Prince William, Princess Kate and more family members to celebrate the holiday.

It was a rare royal outing for James, who, like his sister, lives life mostly outside of the royal spotlight and usually only joins the royals for major occasions like holiday celebrations.

While the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh both serve the crown as full-time working royals, their two children are not expected to take on working royal roles one day.

Louise and James are the youngest grandchildren of the late Queen Elizabeth, and their parents left open the option for them to choose whether or not they'd like to use royal titles when they came of age.

Lady Louise turned 18 in November 2021 but has not publicly adopted a royal title or Her Royal Highness styling, and James did the same when he turned 18 in December 2025.

Prince Edward's son holds the title of the Earl of Wessex, taking on the styling in March 2023. James inherited the appellation when King Charles announced that he conferred Prince Edward as the Duke of Edinburgh in March 2023, sentimentally giving him the title that was created for their late father, Prince Philip.

The move made Sophie the new Duchess of Edinburgh, and their son James, before known as Viscount Severn, became the Earl of Wessex, taking on the title that was given to Edward when he married Sophie in 1999.

Buckingham Palace clarified that James won't inherit the Duke of Edinburgh title in the future. The palace statement announcing Edward as the Duke of Edinburgh specified that the title "will be held by Prince Edward for His Royal Highness's lifetime," meaning that it will revert to the crown after and not automatically go to his son.

Sophie opened up to The Sunday Times in 2023 about her and Prince Edward's decision to forgo "His/Her Royal Highness" royal titles for their two children, reflecting on the future they're expected to step into.

"We try to bring them up with the understanding they are very likely to have to work for a living. Hence, we made the decision not to use HRH titles. They have them and can decide to use them from 18, but I think it’s highly unlikely," the royal mom said then.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Kevin Overton had 26 points, Tahaad Pettiford scored 24 and Auburn took advantage of a late 5-second violation in regulation to beat Tulsa 92-86 in overtime on Sunday night and win its first NIT championship.

Ade Popoola sank a 3-pointer to give Tulsa a 76-71 lead with 1:05 left in regulation. Pettiford hit a 3-pointer with 44 seconds remaining and Elyjah Freeman made the second of two free throws following two foul shots by Tulsa's Tyler Behrend for a 78-75 lead. But the Golden Hurricane couldn't inbound the ball following Freeman's make and Overton buried a baseline 3-pointer with eight seconds left to force OT.

Overton hit his fifth 3 to put Auburn (22-16) up 89-84 and the Tigers led over the final 3:31 of the extra period.

Overton hit 7 of 13 shots and 7 of 8 free throws. Pettiford had four 3-pointers and eight assists. Keyshawn Hall totaled 11 points and 12 rebounds. Sebastian Williams-Adams added 13 points off the bench and Filip Jovic scored 12.

David Green had 25 points, Tylen Riley scored 20 and Popoola added 13 for Tulsa (30-8), which finished with the second most wins in program history.

Luka Dončić is trying to speed up his return for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Dončić is going to seek specialized medical treatment in Europe on his left hamstring strain "in an attempt to expedite his return to play," his agent told ESPN on Sunday night. It's unclear where Dončić will go in Europe specifically, or what kind of treatment he will undergo.

The Lakers already ruled Dončić out for the rest of the regular season due to the hamstring injury, which he first suffered during the team's blowout loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night. Dončić pulled up near the free throw line suddenly in the third quarter and started grabbing at his hamstring, which sent him down to the court in clear pain.

Dončić actually tweaked his hamstring in the first quarter of that game, but was cleared by the Lakers to continue to play in the game. He underwent an MRI on Friday, which is what led to the Grade 2 hamstring strain diagnosis.

While the Lakers have ruled him out indefinitely, his status for the start of the playoffs is still reportedly uncertain. Dončić has averaged a league-best 33.5 points per game this season with the Lakers while putting up 8.3 assists and 7.7 rebounds per contest.

The Lakers have just four games left in the regular season after Sunday night's loss to the Dallas Mavericks, which dropped them into a tie for third in the Western Conference standings with the Denver Nuggets. The Lakers lost Austin Reaves to an oblique strain, too, and will be without him for four-to-six weeks. That timeline would almost certainly sideline Reaves, the team's second-leading scorer, for the entirety of the first round of the playoffs.

It's unclear if Dončić's treatment in Europe is going to make a difference or speed up his return to the court for the Lakers with the playoffs right around the corner. But if both Reaves and Dončić are sidelined for even part of the first round of the playoffs, the Lakers will undoubtedly have a much tougher time at making a deep postseason run.
