Summary -

Jonathan Majors and co-star JC Kilcoyne fell six feet through an unsecured sheet of tempered glass while filming a scene on the South Carolina set of an untitled Daily Wire and Bonfire Legend action movie in late March.

Following the incident and additional safety concerns, more than half the crew walked off and unionized with IATSE, resulting in a labor strike on March 26.

Producers responded to the strike with a series of incendiary statements, including declaring they "don't negotiate with communists."

Jonathan Majors can't seem to catch a break. Or, apparently, a window frame.

Majors and co-star JC Kilcoyne were the victims of a movie stunt gone wrong, falling through a glass window and tumbling six feet down to the ground on the South Carolina set of his much-anticipated — or, depending on your perspective, much-dreaded — comeback film. The accident, first reported by Deadline, was even captured on video for everyone to watch on a slow Friday afternoon.

Here's the part that makes it worse: the accident occurred after the window was replaced with an unsecured sheet of tempered glass meant to be shattered in a later stunt that did not involve any actors. In other words, nobody told the actors they were essentially leaning against a very loose, very breakable pane of glass. Cool safety protocols, everyone.

The tempered glass was only sitting loosely in the window, and Kilcoyne required stitches "all over his hands" after the accident. Majors, reportedly, walked away uninjured. His reps have stayed conspicuously silent on the whole thing — though in the footage, Majors can be heard saying "Use it!" before the fall. Make of that what you will.

Kilcoyne's team was a bit more forthcoming. In a statement, reps for Kilcoyne wrote that the actor "is doing well and was taken care of immediately by production," adding that "JC did not feel unsafe on set and continues to have a positive experience working on the project." Bold stance from a man who needed hand stitches.

Meanwhile, the crew had a decidedly different take on the "positive experience" vibe. One crew member, who arrived on set after the incident to help reset the scene, told Deadline on the condition of anonymity: "When I got there, nobody mentioned anything about people falling out the window…It seemed weird to me." Weird is one word for it.

The window fall turned out to be the straw that broke the camel's back — or, the pane that sent the actors to the ground. The window in the scene had been replaced with an unsecured sheet of tempered glass, and both Majors and Kilcoyne fell backward through it, landing about six feet below. The incident accelerated a wave of safety complaints that had apparently been building for weeks.

Crew members who walked off the job told Deadline that it was just the tip of the iceberg in terms of their concerns. Multiple workers corroborated incidents involving props falling onto crew, including a rigged tree branch that hit the set medic. There were also reports of black mold in buildings and a lack of standard safety coordinators. A full house of red flags, basically.

Following the incident, more than half the crew working on the film decided to walk off and unionize with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE), resulting in a labor strike on March 26. By the time things escalated, more than 60% of the crew had signed union cards affirming their desire for a collective bargaining agreement with IATSE.

The producers' response to all of this? Unhinged, frankly.

In a statement, producer Dallas Sonnier said he and his fellow producers were "too busy being bad asses, blowing sh*t up, flying helicopters, and killing movie terrorists to concern ourselves with four assholes with signs on the sidewalk and their illegitimate 'strike'."

And then, seemingly deciding that wasn't enough, Sonnier doubled down. In a new response to Deadline, Sonnier said: "The entire industry is in freefall due to strikes, and now that their members are out of work, they're trying to sabotage the few people who are still producing. We don't negotiate with communists."

As for the video of Majors and Kilcoyne going out the window? Sonnier told The Hollywood Reporter, "The actors' fall was shorter than the failed movie careers of the now-union reps." Cool. Very mature. Very professional.

The film, which has since been identified as Run Hide Fight Infidels, is described as an "anthology sequel" to director Kyle Rankin's 2020 action thriller Run Hide Fight, with a story said to be in the vein of '80s and '90s action movies like Red Dawn and Toy Soldiers. Ben Shapiro is producing for The Daily Wire.

The untitled film marks Majors' first movie in four years after he was dropped from numerous projects when found guilty in 2023 of assaulting his former girlfriend. A comeback vehicle involving a literal fall through a window, strikes, and producers calling union workers communists. Truly, the Hollywood redemption arc we didn't see coming.

Love on the Spectrum fan-favorite Connor Tomlinson will not return for the show's upcoming fifth season.

"It is with humility and a heavy heart that I share I will not be partaking in season 5," Connor, 27, told Variety on Friday, April 3, after the outlet confirmed that Love on the Spectrum is renewed for another season. "I feel like three seasons is enough to tell my story and find love on my own time."

He added, "I've chosen to pass the torch to the next person who can make it as big as me. Don't worry about me: I'm still going to be in the acting business, especially voice work. I've always been a huge fan of animation and would love to be involved with a TV show."

Connor joined Love on the Spectrum during 2024's season 2, chronicling his search for love. He subsequently appeared on seasons 3 and 4, sparking a romance with Georgie Harris. Connor and Georgie, however, ultimately broke up during the most recent season.

'Love on the Spectrum' Couples Status Check: Who Is Still Together and Who Broke Up?

"It was my decision to end things," Connor exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of the show's Wednesday, April 1, premiere. "Georgie and I … this season was the longest time we spent with each other. The more we did, the more we came to realize we're just two different people. Good people, yes, but not each other's people."

The Netflix star continued, "What she wanted, I couldn't give her. What I wanted, she couldn't give me. We both decided it was for the best."

Connor and Georgie have since remained cordial, and he told Us that his ex even reached out on his recent birthday.

"She wanted to wish me a happy early birthday. I told her, 'Thank you,'" Connor told Us, noting that he is still single and looking for The One. "[I want] someone smart, sophisticated and talented wouldn't hurt, [and who is] still very kind and pretty."

Connor's sister, Anna Tomlinson, is also hopeful that her brother accomplishes his dreams.

"I just want to see him happy in general, but I would love to see him with someone, maybe with more, like, similar interests," Anna told Us. "He has such an affinity for history and all things medieval. I would love to see him with someone he could just, like, nerd out with."

'Love on the Spectrum' Stars Break Down Season 4 Relationships: Engagement, Splits and More

Connor further revealed that he finds Anna's support "terrific" and believes that his person is out there because of two Love on the Spectrum costars: Madison Marilla and Tyler White.

"It's actually given me inspiration, and above all, hope," Connor gushed of Madison and Tyler, both 28, amid their engagement. "It makes you think, maybe, it's not too late for me."

Love on the Spectrum is currently streaming on Netflix.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into theaters this summer, but the new Tom Holland movie is just one of multiple Spider-Man projects on the horizon.

Breakout characters from the animated Spider-Verse films are set to star in their own standalone projects, and the villainous Venom is preparing to cause cartoon carnage on-screen.

Here are all the Spider-Man projects in the works, and when they will be casting webs across audiences.

Holland and Zendaya are back for their fourth Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

The latest entry in the live-action Spider-Man film series shows what life is like for Peter Parker (Holland) after Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) erased the world's memory of him at the end of the previous installment, Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Now, Parker is facing another challenge: his DNA is morphing and his abilities are changing.

In addition to Holland and Zendaya, other members of the ensemble include Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, a.k.a. the Hulk, Michael Mando as Scorpion, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, a.k.a. the Punisher and Sadie Sink in an undisclosed role.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released in theaters on July 31.

Nicolas Cage returns to the world of Spider-Man in the upcoming Spider-Noir series.

Cage previously voiced Spider-Noir in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, where he played an alternative-universe Peter Parker.

In the live-action Spider-Noir drama, Cage will spin onto screens as a gumshoe named Ben Reilly, who protects the city as a mysterious masked vigilante known as the Spider.

In a February 2026 Esquire interview, the actor said, "For me, this character was 70 percent Bogart, and 30 percent Bugs Bunny. I was basically Mel Blanc doing Bogart, with that sarcastic sense of humor. But it's a hundred percent me."

The first episode of Spider-Noir debuts May 25 on MGM+'s broadcast linear channel. All eight episodes of the series will then become available on Prime Video on May 27.

Spider-Noir will stream in two versions: "Authentic Black & White" and "True-Hue Full Color."

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is the climactic conclusion to the animated Spider-Verse trilogy, which first began with 2018's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

The sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, was released in 2023, and the final part in the trilogy will premiere in June 2027.

"We know how important this franchise is to so many people around us. We just could not run it back. So, we decided we needed to take the time to make sure we got it just right," said producer Phil Lord and co-directors Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson at CinemaCon 2025, per Variety.

Lord added, "It's going to be a massive finale to the trilogy."

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse will be released in theaters on June 18, 2027.

Spider-Punk, a.k.a. Hobie Brown, was introduced in the Spider-Man comics in 2015, and then the rocker was brought to life in 2023's Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

Daniel Kaluuya voiced Spider-Punk in the animated sequel, and the Get Out actor will be involved in an upcoming movie about the arachnid anarchist.

In August 2025, Variety reported that Kaluuya and Primetime screenwriter Ajon Singh are co-writers on the Spider-Punk animated feature.

A release date for Spider-Punk has not been announced.

In the animated Spider-Verse, Gwen Stacy is Spider-Gwen, the love interest of Miles Morales (Shameik Moore).

Hailee Steinfeld voiced Spider-Gwen in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and will reprise her role in 2027's Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.

In February 2026, Sony Pictures Animation presidents Kristine Belson and Damien de Froberville confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that an animated Spider-Gwen standalone movie is in "active" development.

A release date for Spider-Gwen has not been announced.

Following 2024's Venom: The Last Dance, the scary symbiote is returning to the screen.

In February 2026, it was announced that Venom, one of Spider-Man's most well-known and dangerous foes, is getting his own animated movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Final Destination Bloodlines directors Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein will helm the feature.

Tom Hardy, who starred as the titular antihero in the Venom live-action movies — Venom, Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Venom: The Last Dance — is a producer on the project, as is Kelly Marcel, who wrote the screenplays for the film series.

Jury Duty, which premiered in 2023, is a part-hoax, part-mockumentary-style series

The Emmy-nominated show returned for its second installment, Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat in March 2026

With its finale airing on April 3, fans are wondering whether the show will continue for a third installment

Jury Duty became an instant hit following its 2023 release, but there is debate over how long the show can continue.

The Emmy-nominated documentary-style comedy series' first season starred Ronald Gladden, a man who thought he was on a jury during a court case, but in reality, was actually surrounded by an ensemble of actors participating in a very elaborate prank.

Nearly two years and one Peabody Award later, the series returned to Prime Video, but this time moved from the courtroom to an outdoor business trip for its second installment, Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat.

Its final episode was released on the streamer on April 3 and saw Anthony Norman, this season's "hero," learn that everything around him at hot sauce company Rockin' Grandma's has been, yet again, an expertly crafted hoax.

Given that part of the show is that its unsuspecting individuals don't know the premise, there's been debate over how long the show can continue while maintaining the integrity of the series.

So, will there be a season 3 of Jury Duty? Here's everything we know so far.

Will there be a Jury Duty season 3?

Sorry, Jury Duty fans. The comedy series has yet to be confirmed.

However, the second installment was greenlit in early 2025, per Deadline, over a year after the series' debut, so it's not out of the ordinary for their to be a hiatus before renewal.

What has the cast and crew said about continuing Jury Duty?

In March 2026, Jury Duty director Jake Szymanski spoke to The Guardian about the crew's concerns in continuing past the first season, saying, "We did not know if it could be done again."

"It is a lot of work, and there's a lot of risk," he said.

Executive producer David Bernad said that the aspiration for season 2 "wasn't trying to beat or match or top Jury Duty - it was to create something that was unique and worked on its own," which would likely continue to be the case if it was renewed for another installment.

Plus, it wouldn't be an easy feat to make another season.

"There's nothing like the stress of making Jury Duty: there's so much that's unknown, and so much that's unpredictable," Bernad said, adding "the deeper you get into the production, the more the stakes rise."

As for the cast, season 2 star Alex Bonifer told Decider that he thinks there is "absolutely" a chance the show continues, as "the team of creatives behind the Jury Duty franchise is capable of anything."

He added, "I think they will come up with something that even tops what we did, and keep building that."

What would Jury Duty season 3 be about?

With no official renewal, there's no confirmation on what the third installment of Jury Duty would be about. However, we can probably cross courtrooms and company retreats off that list.

Season 2 star Wendy Braun told TV Insider that the cast and crew have reportedly been discussing doing a third installment on a cruise ship.

Meanwhile, Bonifer told Decider one scenario he thinks is off the table: "They would never be able to pick a woman to be the hero," he said.

"Women are too smart. There's no way," Bonifer said. "So fellas out there, stay dumb just like me. Sorry, ladies. You're too smart. You're too intuitive and too intellectual."

Where can I watch Jury Duty?

Jury Duty and Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat are available to watch on Prime Video.

A viral TikTok video of a custom jacket made from sentimental fabrics brought him hundreds of personal requests

Wagner tells PEOPLE his work combines philanthropy, sustainability and storytelling

Mason Wagner's sewing and design career has taken him on different paths.

This Wisconsin resident, 25, started designing clothes in 2020 while at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, where he and his roommate launched a brand called Samaritan.

"The idea was simple: donate 25% of all proceeds to a charity of the customer's choice. As we got deeper into it, we saw firsthand how much waste the process created," Wagner shares with PEOPLE.

This led them to shift their practice toward "reworking pre-worn garments sourced from thrift and secondhand stores, also known as upcycling."

"Samaritan built somewhat of a cult following on campus, but after we graduated and moved away from each other, the brand came to an end," Wagner says. "Still, the passion for upcycling never left me."

Credit: Mason Wagner

Soon after, he began making and sharing garments on Instagram, which started as "just a creative outlet and a way to find community."

Then, last year, Wagner got the idea to make a jacket out of old painters' drop cloths after seeing a Facebook Marketplace listing for hundreds of pounds of used cloth.

"I met up with a nice gentleman named Jim and bought a few. I decided to make a video about the jacket, and it went viral," Wagner says. "Suddenly, hundreds of people wanted a painter's jacket. Others began asking if I could use their personal drop cloths to make something for them."

That was when he realized a gap in the market, one that could be filled by reworking people's old clothes or fabrics into new designs.

"That's when I realized how many people could benefit from a service like this. Around the same time, people also started reaching out about transforming old family tablecloths and loved ones' clothing into something new," Wagner shares.

This is how Wagner connected with a man named Eric, who had a collection of clothes from his late mom and was hoping to repurpose them into "something he could wear." When Eric asked Wagner if he had any ideas about what to make with the worn pieces, at first, he admittedly "wasn't sure."

"But after talking with my grandmother, a lifelong quilter, I had the idea to piece the garments together and line a jacket with them," Wagner shares.

While Eric's mother lived in Ohio her whole life, she loved the beach, so Wagner chose "an outer fabric that resembled water."

Still, the process "was much more complicated" than he expected.

Mason Wagner with the finished jacketCredit: Mason Wagner

He shares that it took "nearly 10 hours" to work with the different fabrics, textures, weights and styles, but the result was "better than I could have imagined."

Wagner posted the results to his TikTok page, and the video went viral, amassing over 460,000 views and leaving thousands of commenters overcome with emotion.

"Beautiful!!! Eric's mother will hug him every time he wears this jacket. Nice work!" one person commented, as another added, "I'm sobbing this is beautiful."

"That video really took off. Instead of just requests for painter's jackets, I began receiving hundreds of stories from people online, stories of joy, loss and everything in between," Wagner shares.

The designer admits that "it caught me off guard at first."

"But the more I thought about it, the more it made sense. Ever since I started making clothing, I've wanted to honor God by using my talents to build something with purpose," he shares. "My journey from philanthropy to sustainability to storytelling has shown me that clothing isn't valuable just because of how it looks or how it's made; it is the story it carries and the way it makes you feel when you wear it."

He says that "it's been a privilege" to "honor so many meaningful stories over the past year, and I'm excited to continue telling more in the future."

Spoiler alert! The following story contains major details about the ending of "The Drama" (now in theaters).

For months, people have been speculating about the big "twist" of "The Drama."

Trailers for the subversive rom-com have cleverly cut around a pivotal dinner scene, in which a soused Emma (Zendaya) makes a disturbing revelation that is met with both shock and disgust from her fiancé, Charlie (Robert Pattinson), and their friends Rachel (Alana Haim) and Mike (Mamoudou Athie).

It's hard to call it a twist, really, when Emma's startling admission comes just 15 minutes into the movie. Nevertheless, here is what you about the pitch-black, highly controversial comedy:

She survived two school shootings. New rom-com 'The Drama' is no laughing matter

What is the big twist in 'The Drama' movie?

Charlie (Robert Pattinson, left) and Emma (Zendaya) hit a major speed bump on the way to the altar in "The Drama."

Emma explains that when she was 15, she planned to carry out a school shooting to take revenge on her tormenting classmates. She even went so far as to bring a gun to school with her. But just as she was ready to go through with the attack, Emma's teacher informs the class that another student was killed in a mass shooting at a local mall.

Devastated, her classmates form a gun violence prevention program at their school. Impressed by Emma's eloquence and knowledge around mass shooting statistics, they then appoint her to be one of the group's leaders, and pretty soon, she is a bleeding-heart activist in the gun control cause.

Emma describes her pivot away from gun violence ideation to "waking up from a bad dream," and insists that she is a changed person. But Rachel, whose cousin is in a wheelchair because of a mass shooting, all but cuts Emma out of her life.

Charlie, meanwhile, begins to see Emma's everyday behaviors in a queasy new light, and becomes increasingly on edge about whether she is actually capable of killing people.

The film soon becomes a Pandora's box of moral quandaries about the limits of empathy: Is it really so bad since Emma never actually went through with it? Had another mass shooting not interfered, would she have carried out the attack? How many average people have once thought about harming ourselves or others? And can we still love somebody when we know the worst parts about them?

"The Drama" tries to take a macro view on these issues. At one point, Rachel scoffs when Charlie chalks this up to "America's problem," suggesting that Emma never had the mental health resources to cope with high-school bullying and the death of her close childhood friend in a car accident.

Writer and director Kristoffer Borgli ("Dream Scenario") offers no easy answers, and he squarely aims to provoke the audience, with varying success.

It's another iconic press-run for the books! Zendaya and her longtime stylist Law Roach banded together again to curate another themed fashion rollout celebrating the release of the actress' latest film "The Drama."While past press runs have seen Zendaya emulate her film's setting or genre, this time the "Dune" star honored "The Drama"s wedding theme by paying homage to the old rhyme of wearing something old, new, borrowed and blue on one's big day. After a week of Charlie spiraling over whether to still marry Emma, everything comes to a head on their wedding day. Emma's gun-loving father and Rachel each make messy toasts at the reception, and a sloshed Charlie nervously forgets his entire speech for Emma. Instead, he accidentally lets it slip that he cheated on her not even a day earlier with his assistant, Misha (Hailey Benton Gates). Enraged, Misha's boyfriend barrels across the room and beats Charlie up, and Emma flees the banquet hall.

Later that night, a bruised and bloodied Charlie wanders into their favorite diner, where they had promised to go as a cute, low-key way to cap off their wedding. Emma eventually shows up in an orange puffer jacket and bridal gown, and she pretends that she's meeting Charlie for the first time. Smiling through tears, they start to get to know each other all over again before the screen cuts to black.

The ending feels a bit pat, suggesting that we all make mistakes and are deserving of forgiveness. Most people would agree that cheating and planning a school shooting are hardly equal offenses, and Borgli doesn't totally stick the landing by sweeping Emma's past impulses under the rug.

The filmmaker ultimately sees it as a story about unconditional love.

"The movie's exploring more your personal limit and more the limits of how honest and how flawed you can be in your most private life," Borgli told the Popcorn Podcast. In the end, he believes Emma and Charlie stay together: "Deep down, I'm a romantic. I'm hopeful. I feel good about their future, but who knows."
