Grab all the garlic and holy water you can find, because vampires are about to be on the loose in New York City. And not just any vampires, but singing vampires!

A musical stage adaptation of the 1987 cult classic vampire film The Lost Boys will be making its anticipated Broadway debut this spring. BUT FEAR NOT! Because we have your exclusive first look at these creatures of the night that will start roaming the Palace Theatre when performances begin on March 27 (with an opening night set for April 26).

These unfortunate souls may not be able to see themselves in a mirror, but you can see them just fine right here! The photo above reveals Ali Louis Bourzgui as lead vamp David (playing the role that a bleached mullet-sporting Kiefer Sutherland made famous almost 40 years ago). Also on the scene are Maria Wirries as fellow bloodsucker Star (taking on the part from 1980s icon Jami Gertz) as well as LJ Benet in the role of soon-to-be-turned Michael Emerson (originally held down by Jason Patric).

The two other photos below show a suspicious Michael eyeing a very shirtless David, as well as an intimate moment between Michael and Star.

"It's not every day that a movie is so impactful and meaningful that it gets to have a new life almost 40 years later!" Wirries tells Entertainment Weekly. "The Lost Boys is that kind of movie, and I am beyond excited to be a piece of bringing its message and its magic to Broadway! It's fun to be a vampire!"

Her costar Benet tells EW that, "No one's ready for what we're about to do at the Palace. From the book, to the music, to the special effects and the stunts, this production is something I feel audiences have been craving for a while. For me personally, all the stars aligned for me to even be here. I've just been feeling an immense amount of gratitude to be a part of something so special that truly is history in the making. I'm on cloud 9."

As for the actor playing bad boy vampire David, Bourzgui is feeling like everything has come full circle. "Lately it feels like the vibes of the '80s are back in full swing," he tells EW. "The hair, the clothes, the music, the media; our culture is re-embracing this period of self-expression and rebellion of the status quo. The Lost Boys was a part of the movement of stories about young people who banded together to take on the bad guys when the adults just couldn't seem to be bothered. It was about chosen family and breaking cycles of abuse."

Of course, that's not all it was about.

"It was also pretty damn fun," notes Bourzgui. "I'm so excited how this musical version honors all of the iconic moments of the film, while diving deeper into each character. It's a perfect combo of sexy vampire glam rock with a heart-centered story about family and rising above oppression. Oh, and me and the other 'Lost Boys' will be playing our songs live on stage, so your ticket is two for the price of one — a musical and a live rock concert."

Seeing as how Bourzgui recently starred in the title role for the recent revival of The Who's Tommy, he knows a little something about rock concerts on Broadway. And now you have your first look at the next one.

The trio will be starring in the new musical alongside Grammy winner and two-time Tony award nominee Shoshana Bean as Lucy Emerson, Benjamin Pajak as Sam Emerson, Paul Alexander Nolan as Max, Jennifer Duka as Alan Frog, Miguel Gil as Edgar Frog, Brian Flores as Marko, Sean Grandillo as Dwayne, and Dean Maupin as Paul. Plus, check out a press day performance from the show above.

Kristin Cabot, better known as the human resources executive involved in last year's Coldplay kiss cam scandal, is "reclaiming her story" at a public relations conference in April where tickets start at $875 per person.

Cabot will headline the panel, "Taking back the narrative," at the PRWeek Crisis Comms Conference in Washington, D.C., on April 16.

"While attending a Coldplay concert in July and unwittingly appearing on the kiss-cam for a few seconds, Kristin Cabot's life blew up in an instant," her keynote presentation description reads. "From the outside, it was an amusing, if unflattering meme; but for her, everything changed that day. Cabot experienced firsthand the extremity of public shaming that women have long experienced when in the negative spotlight of the media, one their male counterparts often seem to avoid."

Cabot will be joined on the 35-minute panel by journalist and communications professional Dini von Mueffling and PRWeek Senior Reporter Jess Ruderman. The three will discuss "the strategy – both immediate and long-term – that has helped Cabot take control of her narrative and rewrite her story."

Breaking her silence: Exec from viral Coldplay kiss cam video speaks out for first time

Who is Kristin Cabot?

Thrust into the national spotlight last summer, Cabot is the former head of human relations at the tech company Astronomer.

During a Coldplay concert in Foxborough, Massachusetts, in July 2025, Cabot was spotted in an embrace with the company's CEO Andy Byron. When the two saw themselves appear on the Jumbotron screen, they ducked out of its view, drawing a now viral comment from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin: "Uh oh, what? Either they're having an affair, or they're just very shy."

Caught on camera: Uncomfortable moment at Coldplay concert goes viral

What followed were countless memes, mentions on late-night talk shows and later comments from Martin, too. Both Cabot and Byron resigned from Astronomer not long after the concert.

In December 2025, Cabot broke her months-long public silence, speaking to The New York Times about the concert and her relationship with Bryon. She told the publication she was separated from her husband at the time of the concert and the public event was the first time her and Byron had ever crossed into anything romantic.

What is the PRWeek Crisis Comms Conference?

Hosted by trade publication PRWeek, the annual Crisis Comms Conference, now in its fourth year, aims to "convene communicators in our nation's capital to equip them with the tactics necessary to pivot at a moment's notice for unexpected occurrences," according to the event website.

The one-day conference is held at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C. on April 16. Standard individual tickets are $875, group tickets for three to five attendees are $775 each and non-profit tickets are $750.

Other keynote speakers include The Trevor Project CEO Kevin Wong, Blackbird.AI CEO and co-founder Wasim Khaled and Airlines for America Vice President of Communications Marli Collier. A full agenda of the conference is available online.

President Trump said he is directing all federal law enforcement to be at the disposal of Savannah Guthrie's family as the search continues for her mother, 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie.

"I spoke with Savannah Guthrie, and let her know that I am directing ALL Federal Law Enforcement to be at the family's, and Local Law Enforcement's, complete disposal, IMMEDIATELY," Mr. Trump said on social media Wednesday night. "We are deploying all resources to get her mother home safely."

A White House official said the president called Savannah Guthrie, who co-hosts NBC's "Today" show. The call took place right after NBC interviewed the president on Wednesday, NBC said on its streaming platform.

Authorities are trying to figure out what happened to Nancy Guthrie, who went missing over the weekend. In an emotional video released Wednesday night, Savannah Guthrie pleaded for her mother's return and addressed any possible abductor or abductors, saying, "We want to hear from you, and we are ready to listen. Please, reach out to us."

Authorities believe Nancy Guthrie was taken from her Tucson, Arizona, home, but say they haven't identified any suspects or persons of interest in the case, and it isn't clear how many people may have taken Guthrie.

Savannah Guthrie said she and her family are aware of reports of a ransom note. Multiple media organizations have reported receiving purported ransom notes, which they gave to investigators.

"We live in a world where voices and images are easily manipulated. We without a doubt that she is alive and that you have her," Savannah Guthrie said in the video posted on social media.

Law enforcement is intensifying their search. Pima County sheriffs and the FBI returned to Nancy Guthrie's home Wednesday evening, putting up crime scene tape and combing through the property.

Former FBI agent Katherine Schweit — who worked on a similar case where an elderly woman in Wisconsin was kidnapped, held for ransom and eventually freed after five days — said "everybody is working as frantically as they can." "There are hundreds of people working on this," she said Thursday on "CBS Mornings."

According to Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin, U.S. Border Patrol's specialized search and rescue unit BORSTAR has provided support to Pima County officials handling the search.

The community in Tucson is holding on to hope. A few hundred people gathered at a church Wednesday evening for a vigil for Nancy Guthrie, hearing prayers and placing candles on an altar.

After Kid Rock scored a headlining gig at Turning Point USA's alternative 2026 Super Bowl halftime show, his 2001 song "Cool, Daddy Cool" resurfaced — and is raising a whole new set of eyebrows.

"Wonder if Kid Rock will sing 'Cool Daddy Cool?'" one social media user tweeted on Wednesday, February 4. "Will Kid Rock be singing his song 'Cool, Daddy Cool' that contains these lyrics: 'Young ladies, young ladies, I like 'em underage,' 'See some say that's statutory.' 'But I say it's mandatory.'"

Rock, 55, released "Cool, Daddy Cool" in 2001.

"On my cell phone I'm paid, G, can't call me, just page me," he sings. "Young ladies, young ladies, I like 'em underage, see . Some say that's statutory / But I say it's mandatory / My story ain't that complex, two forties and a Rolex."

Kid Rock Pays Tribute to Charlie Kirk by Adding Verse to Hit Country Music Song During Rodeo Concert

Turning Point USA, the right-wing conservative organization founded by the late Charlie Kirk, announced earlier this week that Rock was among the headliners of the organization's so-called alternate Super Bowl 60 halftime show meant to "celebrate faith, family and freedom." (Bad Bunny, who hails from American territory Puerto Rico, will perform at the actual Super Bowl LX on Sunday, February 8.)

"We plan to play great songs for folks who love America," Rock said in a Monday, February 2, statement. "We're approaching this show like David and Goliath. Competing with the pro football machine and a global pop superstar is almost impossible … or is it?"

Rock further took aim at Bad Bunny, 33, and his set.

"He's said he's having a dance party, wearing a dress and singing in Spanish?" Rock concluded in his statement. "Cool. We plan to play great songs for folks who love America."

The Turning Point show has since sparked backlash, from individuals who believe the event's so-called Christian ethos contradicts some of Rock's songs, including "Cool, Daddy Cool."

"Y'all are disgusting," one social media user tweeted, with another adding, "Gotta love his lyrics for Cool Daddy. Right on brand for the GOP [party]."

Erika Kirk Says Alternative Super Bowl Show Is to 'Honor' Husband Charlie: 'He Would Be Fist-Pumping'

While Rock has not addressed the resurfaced backlash to "Cool, Daddy Cool," Turning Point execs are defending the upcoming show.

"It's powerful because what Charlie always loved and knew is that he wanted to be in the forefront of the culture war," Charlie Kirk's widow, Erika Kirk (née Franztve), told Fox News on Wednesday. "He would be fist-pumping at this. He would be so stoked. And what better way to honor him than to just get in the middle of this and be able to offer an alternative to families."

Erika, 37, took over as CEO of Turning Point USA after Charlie was shot and killed in 2025 during a speaking engagement in Utah. Charlie, who was 31 at the time of his assassination, is survived by Erika and the pair's two children.

"[Our programs are] holistic, it's for the entire home," Erika told the outlet of the upcoming alternative concert. "It's of every age, and so for us to be able to provide an alternative that is pro-America, that is just pro-everything, that's not the opposite of what they're putting out there — I don't want to go into details and bash that because there is apparently an audience that wants that, but there's a larger audience that wants ours."

Jamie Lynn Spears and her daughter Maddie are celebrating a miracle today.

On Thursday, Feb. 5, the actress and mom of two, 34, shared a series of photos on her Instagram as she took a minute to remember her older daughter's near-fatal ATV accident. In the pictures, Maddie could be seen lying in a hospital bed while Spears slept next to her.

Spears also included a few pictures of the cards Maddie received while she recovered, as well as a photo inside a helicopter that brought Maddie to the hospital.

"MIRACLE ANNIVERSARY🪽🤍 I will never take for granted the gift we were given, bc I'm very aware that so many times in these situations that is not the case," she wrote in her caption. "Thank you to every first responder, medical professional, friend, family, every single person who prayed for her, and ABOVE ALL THANK YOU GOD🙏🏻 go love on your people extra today, at the end of the day that is all that really matters."

Spears' daughter Maddie also posted in honor of the day, sharing similar photos. "I am forever so grateful to God and all my first responders!! He is so good!! ✝️✝️," she wrote in her caption.

Nearly nine years after Maddie's accident, Spears gifted her teenage daughter another ATV for Christmas. On Dec. 25, the mom of two shared a carousel of photos on her Instagram as she rounded up her Christmas spent with daughters Maddie and Ivey, 7, as well as her sister Britney Spears' older son Sean Preston, 20.

In the carousel, Jamie Lynn included a snap of her older daughter Maddie's Christmas present: a red ATV with a big bow on top. Underneath the bow, Maddie's name was written in gold glittery letters. The mom of two also included a picture of Maddie and Ivey sitting on the ATV and smiling together.

"Merry CHRISTMAS ✝️🤶🏻🎀🎄🎁," Jamie Lynn wrote in her caption.

In 2017, Maddie got into a traumatic ATV accident that left her in a coma. While on the U.K. reality TV show I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here in 2023, Jamie Lynn spoke about the scary incident.

Recalling what happened to her castmates, Jamie Lynn said, "I almost lost my oldest daughter ... She drowned and we couldn't save her."

"We tried really hard. She was trapped under a little side-by-side that we ride around our pond," she recalled, explaining that the teen was "8 or 9" at the time.

"My father-in-law, my mother-in-law, me and my husband, we run to jump in to save her and you kind of — in that moment you think, 'This is not real. She's going to pop up, this isn't real," she continued.

"I could feel her arm, and I'm jerking it, I couldn't get her up because it's a pretty heavy machine. In that moment you think, you know logically she's been underwater too long."

Jamie Lynn recalled sitting there distraught and covered in vomit as she heard her mother-in-law call her own mom, and say, "'Lynne, we've lost Maddie.'"

Moments later, a firefighter let Jamie Lynn know that Maddie did have a pulse. "They airlifted her. She's hooked up on life support, breathing machines and all that… they come in, [bring] a priest to read her her last rites, and when they did, her body physically sat up," said the mom of two, who shares Maddie with ex Casey Aldridge and daughter Ivey, with husband Jamie Watson.

Love is in the air for Kevin James in "Solo Mio," and so is James himself, propped up on a horse and riding through the beautiful landscape of Tuscany.

"It was a little scary, to be honest, because I was not in control," the "King of Queens" actor says. Before making the romantic comedy (in theaters Feb. 6), "the closest I got to that was a pony when I was 4. No animals between my legs for, gosh, 56 years. So it was a pony, and then a thoroughbred."

"Solo Mio" stars James as art teacher Matt Taylor, who ventures to Rome with his fiancée (Julie Ann Emery) for a destination wedding but gets left at the altar. Heartbroken, Matt decides to make the most of a terrible situation, sticking with his already-paid honeymoon tour of Italy, making friends and possibly finding love again with a kind local coffee shop owner (Nicole Grimaudo).

Art teacher Matt Taylor (Kevin James, right) is left at the altar and goes on his Italian "honeymoon" anyway in the romantic comedy "Solo Mio."

So far James has received rave reviews from his kids – daughters Sienna-Marie, 20, Shea, 18, and Sistine, 11, and son Kannon, 14 – which is not always the case. Some of them liked "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" when they were younger, but now "they're a little bit more highbrow," James says. "They're like, 'Why are you always falling down?' And I'm like: 'Yeah, OK. I see what you're saying.' But this one, I'm proud to say, is my entire family's favorite."

James talks with USA TODAY about the new movie, going viral in those Matt Taylor social videos and where in Italy you can get a surprisingly good meal.

This interview has been edited for length and clarity.

Question: You have your first romantic lead role here at age 60 ...

Kevin James: By the way, you're welcome. I know you've been asking people constantly, 'When is he going to be the romantic lead? Not just in a romantic comedy but take over the reins.' But, yes, it's happened.

That's some "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry" erasure, but we'll let it slide.

(Laughs) That's true. I stand corrected.

When in Rome, Matt (Kevin James) befriends local coffee-shop owner Gia (Nicole Grimaudo) in "Solo Mio."

How do you approach a lead romantic role at 60 differently than you may have at, say, 40? Do you feel like that extra life experience better prepared you to play Matt?

One hundred percent. I mean, every character that I played before, from Paul Blart to these other characters, these are all experiences like obstacles in our lives that we have to overcome to get us to the point where, hey, there's always something better. This, for me, is the highlight of my career.

I aspire to be this guy. I love this character. So I had to go through all those other experiences and family life. And yeah, it didn't happen when I was 40. I was a different guy, so it took time to get here. It's late, but that's part of the story, that it's never too late.

Kevin James (right, with Bernie McInerney) says his kids used to like "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" but now their tastes are "a little bit more highbrow."

You've done a lot of PG movies, maybe more than your contemporaries. Has that always been important to you, making films the broadest audience possible can enjoy?

You try to catch the broad (audience), but it's also gotten me into trouble, because you end up pleasing some people and then upsetting others. I definitely gear my movies toward everybody coming to be able to enjoy it and be comfortable sitting with their family watching it. But this is not a kids' movie. You're going through the ups and downs of life, but yet it's still OK for everybody.

View this post on Instagram

You're Hollywood-famous and you've become Internet-famous for things like the "Kevin James shrug" meme. Can you explain your inherent virality?

I cannot, which is so weird. That came up out of nowhere. My kids told me about it. I didn't know what it was, and I didn't get it for the longest time. And then I just laughed at it. It was goofy and humbling, and it brought me back to the day I shot those (promotional) photographs. I remember how uncomfortable I was, trying to do ("The King of Queens") and not being myself and trying to be what they wanted. When you don't know anything, you're just going along with the program. You're happy to be there. And you can clearly see in that or if I'm climbing up out of a sewer and you see me in a picture, you know I was talked into it, because I'm not choosing to do that. (Laughs)

Kevin James (center) attends the Miami world premiere of "Solo Mio" with daughter Shea (from left), wife Steffiana, daughter Sienna-Marie, son Kannon and daughter Sistine.

Do you feel like you've entered a different phase in your life?

A lot of people look at it as, wow, you're getting old, but there's a comfort in being able to choose and try to make the right decisions and, put it this way, I'm not coming up out of a sewer anymore. There's a comfort in being who you are and knowing that people are going to love you and people are going to hate you. It's life. You realize how unimportant some things are and how important other things are. That's maturity. I think I'm getting better still to this day and still obviously making mistakes, but growing. So as long as I can keep going, waking up and doing that, hopefully (at) 70, I'll be better than 60.

While filming "Solo Mio" in Italy, what was the one greatest meal you had while there?

That's asking me to choose which child I love the most. Any gas station that you stop at, that food has a 95% chance of being better than anything in America. They have steaks and pasta and really good stuff. What I love about America is you'll miss like a crappy hamburger. I need a sauce. I need a little bit of chemicals in there. It's a little magic, it's the powder in the Kraft macaroni and cheese that just lights my life up that is an orange color that I've never seen before, but I don't know if I can live without it. That and peanut butter.

Charli xcx is getting candid about what it was like filming Kylie Jenner's buzzy cameo in the musician's new movie.

Jenner, 28, appears in The Moment, a satire inspired by the hype that surrounded Charli's hit album Brat, as herself for a short scene, earning some rave reviews for her screen presence and comedic timing. (One viral Vulture article was titled, "Kylie Jenner Is Legitimately Fantastic in The Moment.")

Charli, 33, shared what it was like to work with the reality star at a special screening and Q&A of the A24 film at Alamo Drafthouse's Brooklyn location on Tuesday, Feb. 3.

Asked about the scenes she most enjoyed shooting by The Moment director Aidan Zamiri, the "360" singer said "obviously, most things" before turning her attention to Jenner's stand-out cameo.

"I really enjoyed shooting the Kylie scene, obviously," Charli told the Scottish filmmaker, adding that the moment was "separated" from the rest of the shoot — which kicked off with a scene starring Rachel Sennott. (Sennott, like Charli and Jenner, plays a fictionalized version of herself in the film.)

"The first scene we shot for the film was with Rachel and the last day was with Kylie," Charli said at the Q&A. "So we sort of bookended with two legends, which was pretty cool … two people playing themselves."

Charli then revealed what the experience of filming with Jenner was like, offering high praise for the reality star.

"I think with the Kylie scene, it was so fun," she said, "because it really was so easy and effortless and she really, like, played with it, did her thing."

Vulture's Jason P. Frank described Jenner's scene in The Moment as "expertly-executed," and said she stood her own in the star-studded cast of Sennott, Kate Berlant, Rosanna Arquette, Alexander Skarsgård and more. "She is never too knowing, playing this version of herself without a hint of irony, even as she delivers clearly ridiculous lines," Frank wrote of Jenner.

The A24 film also marks the first major leading role for star Charli, a feat she reflected on at the Q&A.

Asked about how she prepared for the role, she said, "Well, I mean, I play — I hope — a slightly different version of my real self in this film. I don't think I'm quite that much of a nightmare the whole time, but I wouldn't really be the best person to ask about that."

"The thing about the Charli in the film is all of the scenarios that my character in the film goes through could have happened if I made slightly different decisions in my own life and in my own career," she said. "Obviously I assume that most of you here know that this is not what happened when it came to Brat and going on tour and things like that."

Charli said her years of experience in the industry — and specifically times in which people and labels attempted "to mold me and change who I am" — gave her "places to pull from" for The Moment.

"Whether you're an artist or not, I think we all have gone through a phase or a moment in our life where we've been through, like, a really dramatic shift or change or transition where you change from being one person with one experience experiencing the world and your interactions and the way that people see you in one way to another," she continued, adding that "that's kind of what happened with the record Brat."

Charli continued, "It opened me up to, like, so much more of a wider audience than ever before, some of whom deeply understood me and some of whom sort of understood this kind of version of me that they thought to be true. And I think that can really drive somebody quite mad, because often you feel very misunderstood, and you can question yourself and second-guess yourself. And, like I said, I don't think you have to be an artist to go through that.

"And also," she joked of her onscreen character, "I have definitely, like, screamed and smoked a million cigs in the back of a car before."

The Moment is in select theaters now, then everywhere on Feb. 6.
