In a recent interview with Mr. Porter, the Game of Thrones actor, 39, opened up about his relationship with costar and wife Rose Leslie, 38, saying that they "are very caring of each other."
"We're very loving and tactile, and we make sure we tell each other that we love each other," he added. "Rose is just the most genuine soul. I'm very, very lucky. I really am. And Rose was there through all of the hard stuff, and she's been through some journeys with me. But it has truly worked out."

Harington has been vocal about his struggle with addiction and depression, and often credits Leslie — whom he married in 2018 — with supporting him during his sobriety.
"Things that have happened to me since Thrones ended, and that were happening during Thrones, were of a pretty traumatic nature and they did include alcohol," he told The Sunday Times in 2021.
"You get to a place where you feel like you are a bad person, you feel like you are a shameful person," Harington continued at the time. "And you feel that there's no way out, that's just who you are. And getting sober is the process of going, 'No, I can change.' "
He praised Leslie, whom he met on the set of the medieval fantasy epic, for teaching him "kindness" following his time in rehab.
The Eternals actor later added in an interview with GQ Hype that he "was so lucky I got sober before having kids."

The couple are parents to two kids: a son born in 2021 and a daughter born in 2023.
The Industry actor told Mr. Porter that, for him, "fatherhood happened at just the right time" and that he thinks he's "good at being a dad."
"Because Rose and I knew it was going to probably be quite a heavy season with [filming Industry], and Rose was working in Stratford doing a play, she said, 'OK, you take the kids while you're filming in Cardiff'."

"So, when I'd come back from filming," the Family Plan 2 actor continued, "where I've been doing God knows what, I'd walk in the door and the kids were there. And anything dark I'd had to deal with during the day was gone."
"It was bizarre and it was great. I'd get home and be a dad," he said.
"They're both awake to the world and they're kind," he said. "They are all I want from my children. I have been blessed with two who have both those attributes in spades."
