Zayn Malik is opening up about his future family plans. During a candid new interview, the singer reflected on fatherhood, life with his daughter, and whether he sees himself having more children. Malik shared honest thoughts on balancing peace and parenthood while giving fans a rare glimpse into his life outside of music.
Zayn Malik reveals he would love to welcome more kids in the future
Appearing on the February 11 episode of "Call Her Daddy", Malik spoke with host Alex Cooper about his new music, past relationships, and raising daughter Khai, whom he shares with ex-partner Gigi Hadid.
When asked if he wants more children, the singer answered directly: "I do. Yeah… It's not something that, like, I'm actively trying to pursue, but, yeah, for sure, I would like more kids." Malik added that Khai's opinion matters most, joking, "Obviously, Khai would have to approve too because she's got the highest opinion."
The former One Direction star said growing up in a big family makes the idea feel natural. While he currently enjoys the calm of life as a father to one child, he admitted he could see his family expanding later. "I'm enjoying the peace and quiet of it just being me and Khai," he said, before adding, "But eventually, yeah… maybe like four."
Malik also shared how fatherhood reconnects him with his younger self. He explained that spending time watching cartoons, playing with Play-Doh, and doing creative activities with Khai has brought back simple joys. "She's just kind of brought a lot of things back for me," he said, describing how much he enjoys those everyday moments.
However, one thing is off-limits in the house: glitter. Laughing, he explained, "No glitter though. Glitter's not allowed in my house… it goes everywhere."
