Emma Stone was decreased to tears when a 'lonely' autistic fan poured his heart out over how her work helped him via his gruelling school years.

Throughout a Q&A session for her Oscar-nominated film Poor Things, the La La Land star was visibly emotional as the boy shared his admiration for her work.

He stated that he had seen her latest film, also starring Mark Ruffalo and Willem Dafoe, six occasions and that every thing she makes is all the time 'pure and trustworthy.'

He went on to say that rising up as 'one of many only a few autistic youngsters' in his faculty made him really feel lonely and he discovered it troublesome to make buddies.

To combat the loneliness, the person stated he would sneak into his faculty's pc room to observe Stone's Saturday Night Live sketches, and that the star brought him 'joy, comfort, and safety.'

'You win, no one ask one other query,' Stone joked, before the fan continued by asking what her 'favorite message' can be that she would take residence from her position as Bella in Poor Things.

She may even see extra luck at this yr's Oscars, where Poor Things is nominated for a whopping 11 nominations behind Oppenheimer's 13.

Stone herself is nominated in the perfect actress category, telling Good Morning America that she feels 'so grateful and so lucky' for the nod.

'I absolutely love her,' she stated of her character Bella. 'Though I've stated that many occasions now and I really feel like it's slightly bit unfair because I feel that the characters I've been fortunate sufficient to play have been the right character for that time in my life.'

'I feel that Bella was my absolute favourite at this level in my life because she's so free.

'She's with out judgment, self-judgment or judgment of others. She's simply taking in each aspect of life to the fullest.'
