Vin Diesel is revving up excitement for his *Fast & Furious* family in a new Super Bowl commercial, teasing "the next chapter" of the souped-up automobile action franchise.

The blockbuster film series' longtime star and producer returned to voice a 2026 Super Bowl ad for the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park's upcoming Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift roller coaster, which draws inspiration from the big screen as riders race along a high-speed course in spinning cars modeled after real vehicles used in the movies.**

"You ready?" Diesel asks at the top of the spot (below), which shows footage of riders speeding through a conceptual rendering of the coaster — featuring vehicles that rotate along a course that also includes three inversions.

Diesel closes the clip by advising, "Buckle up for the next chapter of *Fast & Furious* at Universal Studios Hollywood!"

The Super Bowl spot marks Diesel's second consecutive ad to air during the big game, as he and fellow *Fast* franchise stars Michelle Rodriguez and Ludacris appeared in a Häagen-Dazs commercial during the 2025 broadcast.

Universal's 2026 commercial additionally confirmed the opening timeline for Universal Studios Hollywood's long-awaited roller coaster that's set to welcome its first riders this summer.

The park's parent company, Universal Pictures, recently announced that the next installment in the *Fast* film franchise,* Fast Forever*, will be released on March 17, 2028, with Diesel also commenting on the announcement in January.

"No one said the road would be easy… but it's ours," Diesel wrote on Instagram, captioning a photo of himself and late costar Paul Walker. "One that has defined us and become our legacy…And a legacy… lasts Forever."

The gap between *Fast Forever *and May 2023's* Fast X *marks the longest hiatus for the series in its 11-film (if you include the 2019 spinoff *Hobbs & Shaw*) history, after the first movie launched to global success in 2001.

*Fast & Furious *has welcomed a wealth of high-octane Hollywood stars into its action-oriented projects over the years. In addition to Diesel, Rodriguez, Ludacris, and Walker, actors who've appeared across installments include Dwayne Johnson, Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, John Cena, Kurt Russell, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, and Brie Larson, among others.

Diesel's Universal Studios Hollywood commercial is also not the star's first foray into the theme park sector, as he lent his likeness to two prior Universal parks attractions, including Fast & Furious: Supercharged simulator experiences at both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Florida.

Supercharged closed last year in Hollywood, and is set to close in the near future in Florida to make way for the Orlando park's upcoming version of the Hollywood Drift roller coaster featuring a 170-foot-tall vertical spike of track.

The Universal Orlando Resort also aired a Super Bowl commercial on Sunday, highlighting its existing attractions as well as its new Epic Universe park that boasts rides and experiences based on *Harry Potter*, Super Nintendo characters, *How to Train Your Dragon*, and classic Universal monsters like Dracula.
