BOXING followers have praised Oleksandr Usyk for his response to Tyson Fury's struggle postponement.

The 2 heavyweights have been set to face each other in a blockbuster Saudi showdown this month.

Despite followers' fears, Fury did appear to be wearing protective head gear during sparring.

Nevertheless, it didn't forestall his eye from being minimize in a video showing to point out the second he was dominated out of the Usyk bout.

Taking to Instagram after the news broke, Fury wrote: "I'm absolutely devastated after getting ready for this battle for therefore long and being in such excellent situation.

The Ukrainian's representatives have been informed that it may be "several months" until Fury is ready to compete.
