This is the moment a man is arrested after he tried to promote his personal kidney to repay his £14,000 gambling debts.

The man, from Kazakhstan, tried to sell his organ to a 'random web purchaser', the country's Ministry of Inner Affairs.

'He valued his own kidney at 18 thousand US dollars and tried to promote it to a random purchaser by way of the Web.

'The writer provided network users his personal body, while all agreements relating to the seizure operation needed to be organized by the recipient,' they stated.

Police saw the man's supply online and responded to it.

They pretended to make a 'deal' to perform the transplant and pay for it.

'In Kokshetau, staff of the Organized Crime Management Department detained the suspect whereas transferring funds,' the police stated.

'As part of the initial investigative actions, the police established that the person is a local of Aktobe, however lives within the capital.'

The person advised police he wanted the cash to repay his playing debts.

A pre-trial investigation is underway.
