'Explosion' heard as building collapses leaving woman injured and sparking evacuation in Cheltenham
A WOMAN was rushed to hospital final night time after a suspected explosion brought on a constructing to break down.
A fireplace then engulfed the bungalow in Gloucestershire as nearby houses have been evacuated.


Emergency providers scrambled to the horror in Cheltenham shortly before 10pm on Thursday.
They treated a lady on the scene on Springbank Means before taking her to hospital.
Her condition is unknown.
One resident advised GloucestershireLive they saw a "massive explosion and hearth" following an incident labelled "grade one" priority by police.
Footage of the aftermath show the bungalow lowered to a pile of rubble and charred beams.
Bricks cowl the pavement as smoke billows from the property's scorched stays.
Gloucestershire Hearth and Rescue stated they have been alerted to the hearth at 9.48pm on Thursday.
The reason for the blaze stays unknown.
A Gloucestershire Police spokesperson stated final night time: "One feminine casualty has been treated on scene and taken to hospital, surrounding properties have been evacuated.
"At present crews are finishing up search and rescue plus extinguishing pockets of fireside and will remain on scene for some appreciable time."
