Bill Belichick's next career venture after NFL head coach snub hinted at after his summer plans are revealed
BILL Belichick's next occupation has been hinted at by a former NFL government.
Belichick, who mutually parted methods with the New England Patriots final month, has been left with out employment because of the NFL having no out there head teaching vacancies.
There were seven NFL teams with head teaching vacancies for the six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach to show to after his 23-year run ended with New England.
Nevertheless, Belichick didn't obtain a head coach job, despite interviewing with two teams (Atlanta Falcons, Washington Commanders).
The 71-year-old is more likely to miss out on working within the NFL in the 2024-25 season.
Former NFL government Michael Lombardi appeared on The Pat McAfee Present on Friday.
He labored with Belichick on the Cleveland Browns and the Patriots and shared what the longer term NFL Corridor of Famer's summer time will include.
"Bill Belichick has already studied the draft and I'm positive he's watching school tape right now," Lombardi said.
The 64-year-old hinted at the potential of Belichick touchdown a TV NFL analyst job.
Fox has reportedly planned to make Belichick a suggestion to hitch Fox NFL Sunday.
That may be the same path that Sean Payton took in 2022, bolting to the network after departing from the New Orleans Saints.
Payton would return to coaching, signing an enormous cope with the Denver Broncos last season.
Lombardi believes that Belichick will undergo the same journey as Payton.
"[Belichick] is aware of that [a team] goes to return to their senses [in 2025] and say 'I want a very good coach who's a confirmed winner' and he's going to be prepared," Lombardi advised McAfee.
"He doesn't have any hobbies."
If Belichick have been to take a TV analyst position and be a part of Fox, he would reunite with Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski.
Brady gained six Super Bowls beneath Belichick because the 46-year-old is about to be Fox's lead broadcast NFL analyst.
Gronkowski, who gained three Super Bowls underneath Belichick, has been an analyst for Fox NFL Sunday since 2021, and can be alongside his former head coach within the TV studio.
Belichick showcased his TV expertise on School GameDay through the Patriots' brutal 4-13 season in 2023.
