- Brandi Glanville shared on her podcast she thinks she recently contracted "sexually transmitted ringworm."

- "I knew nothing about it," Glanville said of having to learn about the sexually transmitted infection.

- The former *Real Housewives of Beverly Hills *star has gone public about a plethora of health issues that were caused by damaged breast implants.

Brandi Glanville is opening up about a new health issue.

The *Real Housewives of Beverly Hills* alumna shared her concern that she may have contracted a "sexually transmitted ringworm" on the May 21 episode of her podcast *Brandi Glanville Unfiltered*.

Glanville felt she had this particular sexually transmitted infection in her throat, she told with guest and former adult film actress Lisa Ann. Sexually transmitted ringworm can be highly contagious, can spread through direct skin-to-skin contact during sexual activity, and is caused by the fungus Trichophyton mentagrophytes genotype VII (TMVII).

"I was dating, I was seeing someone in that industry," Glanville explained. "He would only, you know, my face. He would because he didn't want to get me pregnant. He didn't know that ship had sailed."

Glanville said that while she recently got tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia, she had just learned what sexually transmitted ringworm was from a friend.

"I knew nothing about it... Apparently, you can see them when it's on the outside of your skin, but they can burrow in like if it's in your throat, they can burrow deep into your ears and all that," Glanville added.

Ann explained the STI is "very common" within the adult film industry, saying "So it's one of these things that most people don't know what to look for. And we had to train our makeup artists that when a new member of talent would show up, they would have to get naked in a window where there's good light and they would inspect their body to see if they see any patches because it's incredibly contagious."

During the podcast, Glanville's co-host James Maas brought up other ongoing health issues for the reality star. Glanville has struggled for years and spent thousands of dollars trying to determine the cause for a multitude of health issues including facial disfigurement, eventually learning she got a facial parasite due to her ruptured breast implants that caused silicone to leak into her body.

"Knocking the silicone out really helped. You could see it. It was like night and day," Maas said of Glanville. "Just seeing her like in the last six weeks, like not having silicon leaking into your body, it's like seeing someone go from gray to color again."

A sonogram revealed the dangerous leak, Glanville said in February.

"The woman [who] did the sonogram was like, 'Brandi, you need to get those out yesterday. She's like, 'You have a slow leak in your left [implant] and your right [implant] is completely ruptured, and it's in all of your lymph nodes under both arms," Glanville shared.

Having seen over 20 doctors to address her medical issues, Glanville expressed she's "scared to death" over learning the root cause.

"It's something that I could die from if I hadn't figured it out," she said.

- *General Hospital *star Kate Mansi is leaving the ABC daytime soap opera after joining in 2023.

- The actress said her exit is due to "new projects" that require her "full attention."

- "It’s been such a meaningful and unforgettable ride," Mansi said of getting to play Kristina Corinthos-Davis on the series.

Kate Mansi is saying goodbye to *General Hospital*.

The 38-year-old actress confirmed news of her exiting ABC's daytime soap opera in an Instagram story on Sunday, May 24, sharing an interview with *Soap Opera Digest*'s editorial director Stephanie Sloane* *about her departure.

"I’ve made the very difficult decision to leave General Hospital," Mansi told Sloane for her newsletter, *SoapSteph’s Soap Dish*. "I have a few new projects that require my full attention and with my husband [Matt McInnis] currently producing a series filming primarily abroad, I needed the flexibility to travel while continuing to develop and work in Los Angeles."

Mansi joined *General Hospital* in 2003, playing Kristina Corinthos-Davis, who is the daughter of mob kingpin Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard ) and his former attorney, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

“When [executive producer Frank Valentini] first approached me about the role, two things deeply resonated with me: the opportunity to show my support for the queer community by playing an LGBTQ+ character, and to help tell an endometriosis storyline," Mansi said. "Together, I truly feel we honored both of those stories in a way that mattered. And the fact that I got to direct was simply the icing on the cake! Now, it feels like the right time for both Kristina and me to step into new adventures."**

"I’m incredibly grateful to Frank, ABC, and our writers for the care they gave Kristina," Mansi added, "It’s been such a meaningful and unforgettable ride. I’ve loved being a fiery Corinthos-Davis girl in such a phenomenal family."**

Mansi recently opened up about being diagnosed with endometriosis in 2015, while she was on *Days of Our Lives.*

"I've never gone through childbirth, but it felt like I was having extreme contractions," Mansi said of the pain she experienced while filming. "They would say action, I would do my scene, and then the second they said cut, I was literally doubled over in pain."

Mansi's stepfather, who is an OB-GYN, ended up operating on Mansi after becoming "frustrated" with her medical care, an act she said "ended up saving my life."

Before leaving the series, Mansi directed an episode of *General Hospital* in which her character opens up about her own struggle with endometriosis.

"The attention and care that they put into this story was so meaningful,” Mansi told PEOPLE. “But my approach as a director, I really wanted to focus on Molly’s vulnerability, but her strength and how so many people with endometriosis often hide behind the strength and resiliency so that we don't look weak and we just can make it seem like everything's fine. And then matching that with Cody's sensitivity and his care and love for his partner."

3 Top AI Stocks to Buy With $1,000 Right Now

Key Points -

Amazon's cloud computing platform is delivering strong growth.

Meta Platforms is using AI to improve its ad business.

Nebius is delivering unreal growth.

These 10 stocks could mint the next wave of millionaires ›

If you've got $1,000 burning a hole in your pocket that you're itching to invest, I've got three stocks that look like strong buys right now. All are set to be long-term beneficiaries of the artificial intelligence (AI) build-out, and buying them now secures your involvement in that future.

The three stocks I think are solid AI picks right now are Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN), Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META), and Nebius (NASDAQ: NBIS). All of these companies are experiencing strong growth, and that could ramp up as AI becomes more prevalent.

Will AI create the world's first trillionaire? Our team just released a report on the one little-known company, called an "Indispensable Monopoly" providing the critical technology Nvidia and Intel both need. Continue »

Three investors gathered around a computer.

Amazon

Amazon's involvement in the AI build-out stems from its cloud computing unit, Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS is seeing monster demand for its computing resources, which is driving it to spend a whopping $200 billion on capital expenditures to expand its data center footprint this year alone. This $200 billion investment isn't speculative; Amazon already has agreements with several companies to lease this increased capacity.

Another reason why Amazon's platform is growing in popularity is that it has developed a set of custom AI chips that provide processing power at a lower price than GPUs. This business unit is growing at a triple-digit percentage rate year-over-year and has nearly sold out capacity for its latest chip generation, Trainium3. Its next generation, Trainium4, is nearly sold out already, even though those chips won't be available for 18 months.

This all adds up to a business unit that's thriving, and with it growing in Q1 at a 28% pace (its fastest rate in 15 quarters), it makes for a strong case to buy the stock. AWS accounts for over half of Amazon's operating profits, so as AWS goes, so goes Amazon.

Meta Platforms

Meta Platforms may be making some major investments in its own AI business, but on Wall Street, it's only being valued like an advertising company right now. Yet its ad business on its social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Threads, has been heavily impacted by its AI improvements. In part due to that, Meta's revenue rose 33% year over year in Q1. However, if one of the new AI products it's developing, such as its personal superintelligence model or its AI smartglasses, pans out, its top line could grow even faster.

Despite the strength of its core business and the potential upsides of its future products, Meta's stock is still trading at a rather cheap valuation.

META Price to CFO Per Share (TTM) Chart

META Price to CFO Per Share (TTM) data by YCharts

For Meta, 12.5 times operating cash flow is a historically cheap level, outside of the depths it reached in early 2023 after investors had sold off the tech sector. Meta looks like a strong deal right now, and if any of its AI bets pay off, the stock could be primed for major upside.

Nebius

Few companies are growing as fast as Nebius is. The neocloud company provides a full-stack computing solution that has become a widely popular platform to train and run AI models on. It has attracted major investment dollars from Nvidia, which also inked a deal with the data center operator that will give it first access to its cutting-edge hardware. Meta Platforms is a major Nebius client, and has signed a large deal that will bring years of growth to the neocloud.

Nebius' growth rate has been nothing short of incredible. Overall revenue rose 684% year over year in Q1. Wall Street analysts expect 549% revenue growth in 2026 and 219% growth in 2027.

The stock is up by over 600% since 2025, but if you think you missed the boat with Nebius, think again -- that gain was still less than its revenue growth rate. That mismatch could provide a compelling long-term investment opportunity.

Don’t miss this second chance at a potentially lucrative opportunity

Ever feel like you missed the boat in buying the most successful stocks? Then you’ll want to hear this.

On rare occasions, our expert team of analysts issues a “Double Down” stock recommendation for companies that they think are about to pop. If you’re worried you’ve already missed your chance to invest, now is the best time to buy before it’s too late. And the numbers speak for themselves:

Nvidia: if you invested $1,000 when we doubled down in 2009, you’d have $558,537!*

Apple: if you invested $1,000 when we doubled down in 2008, you’d have $58,859!*

Netflix: if you invested $1,000 when we doubled down in 2004, you’d have $477,813!*

Right now, we’re issuing “Double Down” alerts for three incredible companies, available when you join Stock Advisor, and there may not be another chance like this anytime soon.

CARACAS, May 23 (Reuters) - The U.S. military conducted a drill over the Venezuelan capital Caracas on Saturday, its ‌first military exercise in the South American nation ‌since U.S. troops attacked the capital and captured President Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores on January 3.

Venezuelan authorities say that attack killed at least 100 people.

The latest drill, which the Venezuelan government said it had authorized as an evacuation drill for possible ‌medical emergencies or disasters, included two MV-22B Osprey aircraft that landed near the U.S. embassy and vessels that entered Venezuelan waters in the Caribbean Sea.

Venezuela's information ministry did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The U.S. embassy said in a statement it remained "committed to ensuring the implementation" of President Donald Trump's ‌three-phase plan, "particularly the stabilization of Venezuela."

The embassy said Francis Donovan, commander of the U.S. Southern Command, which oversees U.S. military operations in the Americas, was present in Caracas.

"This keeps us on guard," said Evelyn Rebolledo, 57, an administrator living in the ‌capital.

"A foreign country flying over the city itself, this is new to us and more so coming from the United States, given the ‌current situation and all the turmoil in the country. It leaves us in a state of uncertainty."

Trump's administration has backed the government of Delcy Rodriguez, formerly Maduro's vice president, which ‌has passed laws to open up Venezuela's vast oil reserves and mining resources to the U.S.

Where negotiations between the U.S. and Iran stand 04:28

President Trump told CBS News that negotiators for United States and Iran are "getting a lot closer" to finalizing an agreement between the two countries.

Sources familiar with the negotiations told CBS News that the latest proposal includes a process to re-open the Strait of Hormuz, the unfreezing of some Iranian assets held in foreign banks, and a continuation of negotiations.

Mr. Trump declined to provide specifics about the agreement, but said that "every day it gets better and better."

"I can't tell you before I tell them, right?" Mr. Trump told CBS News in a phone interview.

Mr. Trump did say that he believes the final agreement will prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, adding that he "wouldn't even be talking about it" otherwise. Mr. Trump added that the agreement would also result in Iran's enriched uranium being "satisfactorily handled."

"I will only sign a deal where we get everything we want," he said.

Sources told CBS News that Mr. Trump is still mulling proposals and has not made up his mind yet. The sources said he is consulting with advisers and talking to foreign leaders, including leaders from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries.

Mr. Trump said that if the U.S. and Iran do not come to an agreement, "we're going to have a situation where no country will ever be hit as hard as they're about to be hit."

Mr. Trump has previously threatened Iran, saying before the start of a ceasefire that began in April that "a whole civilization will die" without a deal, and recently warning the country that "the Clock is Ticking."

Secretary of State Marco Rubio also said Saturday that there "may be news later today" about where negotiations between Iran and the U.S. stand.

"There's been some progress done, some progress made, even as I speak to you now, there's some work being done," Rubio said, ahead of a formal dinner at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, India. "There is a chance that, whether it's later today, tomorrow, in a couple days, we may have something to say, but this issue needs to be solved, as the president said, one way or another."

- John Travolta debuted a striking new look at the Cannes Film Festival, which he attended to promote his directorial debut, *Propeller One-Way Night Coach.*

- Travolta turned heads for his dapper, black-and-white formal wear, dark, closely-cropped beard, and in particular an assortment of slouching berets.

- "I said, 'I'm a director this time. You're an actor, play the part of a director, look like an old-school director,'" Travolta revealed.

John Travolta looked at the president of the Cannes Film Festival and said, "I want to make history." And that's what this is.

The eternal *Saturday Night Fever** *star made a somewhat rare public appearance at the Cannes Film Festival over the weekend to debut his first-ever film in the role of director: the jetsetting family film *Propeller One-Way Night Coach*. But he debuted something else that's caught even more attention — a striking new look consisting of a dark, close-cropped beard, thin-rimmed, circular spectacles, and a series of slouching berets.

The buzz around Travolta's new aesthetic has rivaled some of the most hyped premieres of the eminent film festival, which tapped acclaimed auteurs like Cristian Mungiu, Pedro Almodóvar, and Ryusuke Hamaguchi for its main Competition. On Monday, the actor-turned-director finally offered an explanation for the beret seen 'round the world.

"I've been around for over 50 years doing movies, but I can't tell, when I look back, the difference between the events," Travolta told CNN's Leah Dolan. So he endeavored to make his Cannes 2026 fits unforgettable.

"I said, 'I'm a director this time. You're an actor, play the part of a director, look like an old-school director,'" he explained. "So I looked up pictures from the '20, '30s, '40s, '50, '60s, and the old-school directors wore berets, and the glasses, and I thought, 'That's what I'm doing. I'm doing an homage to being a director, so I'm going to play the part of being a director.'"

Problem solved. Now, when Travolta looks back on this time, "I'll know — 'Oh, that was *Propeller One-Way Night Coach*, that was Cannes, that's when I won the Palme d'Or,' and I'll have a vividness of it."

John Travolta gets teary accepting surprise honorary Palme d'Or at Cannes: 'This is beyond the Oscar'

US director, screenwriter and writer John Travolta receives an honourary lifetime achievement Palm d'Or award prior to the screening of the film "Propeller One-Way Night Coach" at the 79th edition of the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, southern France on May 15, 2026.

Travolta is not actually in contention for the prestigious Palme d'Or, which Mungiu, Almodóvar, Hamaguchi, and 19 others are vying for with films in Competition. *Propeller One-Way Night Coach *is playing in Cannes Premiere, a non-competitive section established in 2021 that's generally seen as a holding pen for films that were 11th hour cuts from Competition, like Rodrigo Sorogoyen's *The Beasts* or Alain Guiraudie's *Misericordia*.

And yet, Travolta has *already won *a Palme d'Or while at Cannes 2026.

On Friday, the festival awarded him with an honorary Palme d'Or, the Cannes equivalent of a lifetime achievement award. Indeed, his work has played an important role at the festival over the years, from 1994's* **Pulp Fiction** *winning the Palme d'Or to 1998's *Primary Colors *playing in the Out of Competition section, to films like *Grease** *and *Saturday Night Fever *recently playing in the repertory "Cinéma de la Plage" section."

"You said this would be a special night, but I didn't know it would mean this," Travolta told festival director Thierry Frémaux after accepting the award. "This is a humbling moment. This is beyond the Oscar."

- "The more I became like my grandfather, the more I became like the samurai that he studied," he said.

*The Mandalorian and Grogu* star Brendan Wayne is sharing how his grandfather, John Wayne, influenced his performance as the titular stoic bounty hunter.

The actor, who physically embodies Mando alongside Pedro Pascal (who voices the character and plays him without the helmet) and Lateef Crowder (who handles the stuntwork), tells * *that he had to learn to be present in a scene to play the heavily armored character on the Emmy-winning *Star Wars* series.

"I had to really learn stillness, and it's really been one of the greatest things I've learned as an actor," Wane says. "For me, that journey, I always fought that because my grandfather was exceptional at being present and radiating whatever [was happening around him]. John Ford loved to say to him, 'The less I give you, Duke, the better the movie is going to be.' It sounds like a slight, but it was more about if you just be there, it's as powerful as anything."

He found himself bringing a bit of his grandfather's serenity to the character when working with directors Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Deborah Chow, and Rick Famuyiwa on the first three seasons of *The Mandalorian. *

"When they were directing me, the more still I became, the more I became like my grandfather, the more I became like the samurai that he studied," Wayne says. "Every movement had a meaning; you don't waste them. And with samurai, every movement is a kill movement."

Which is exactly how Mando operates, too. "That's Mando. Those are the precepts that he works upon," he notes, "and so to have that trust in yourself that whatever you're living in that moment — if I'm working with Katee [Sackhoff] as Bo-Katan or Emily Swallow — as long as you're present, that's 90 percent of the work."

It was also important to Wayne that Mando always appear calm and collected — even when the cameras weren't rolling.

"I would get to set two and a half, three hours early, I'd do my workout, and then I'd go spend an hour at least walking the set, because I never wanted Mando to fall down in front of the crew," he says. "I wanted him to be as smooth as my grandfather, Clint Eastwood, or Yul Brynner in *Westworld*. I wanted him as smooth as could be so that every movement did matter."

As fate would have it, he's not the only member of the Wayne family who's part of the* Star Wars *universe. He told PEOPLE that he was completely unaware, when singing on to play Mando, that his grandfather's voice had been used for the Galactic Empire spy Garindan ezz Zavor in *A New Hope*.

"Back in the day, when we used film, they found the soundtrack on the ground in the editing room," he said. "And they knew it was from *True Grit*. They took his voice [from stock audio], and they did whatever they do, their magic."

But don't worry, Wayne is completely fine with "riding the coattails of my grandfather" when it comes to playing a role in a galaxy far, far away. "I had hoped I might have been able to be the first in this," he teased, "but no, sadly, I was still second.'"

*The Mandalorian and Grogu *is in theaters now.
