The team has announced that they have elevated running back DeeJay Dallas to the active roster ahead of Sunday's game.
This is the third elevation of the year for Dallas, so if the Vikings want to have him available going forward, they will have to sign him to the 53-man roster. He was elevated ahead of the regular-season opener against Green Bay and was also elevated ahead of last week's game against Indianapolis.
Dallas has been on the Vikings' roster for all seven of the team's games this season. In addition to his three elevations from the practice squad, he was on the 53-man roster for four games after the team signed him after they placed Jordan Mason on IR for his thumb injury following the season opener. When Mason was brought back ahead of the Colts game, the team released Dallas and immediately re-signed him to the practice squad.
For the season, he's carried the ball three times for ten yards, and caught four passes for an additional 34 yards.
That will do it for roster moves for the Vikings ahead of Sunday's game. We'll have our Open Thread for Week 8 dropping at 11:30 AM Central, and we hope that you'll join us for all the action!
