Christopher Willard // ABC We only have a few weeks left on Dancing With the Stars before one of our remaining couples takes home the Mirrorball Trophy, and there’s literally only one theme night remaining.
Week 9 marks the debut of Grammy Night, a total first for the show! And it looks like a dance-off will be involved, judging from Julianne Hough revealing that the highest-scoring couple during Disney Night would get immunity (Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson got it, FYI!).
Dancing With the Stars hasn’t dropped a press release yet for Grammy Night, and right now TV listings are just showing this basic description: “Celebrities from the worlds of television, film, music and sports are paired off with professional dancers as they prepare the moves with which they hope to impress the judges and win the votes of viewers that will save them from elimination.”
In other words, this is all brand new and we don’t know what to expect! But presumably, the final couples will be dancing to Grammy-winning songs. There will also be performances from the likes of Brandy, Monica, Maren Morris, and Sheryl Crow, so definitely a must-watch.
Reminder, the scores going into next week are:
1. Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson: 80/80 1. Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy: 80/80 3. Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach: 77/80 4. Connor Wood and Rylee Arnold: 72/80 5. Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov: 70/80 6. Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik: 69/80 8. Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas: 68/80
