Michelle Williams and Thomas Kail are having a particularly glamorous date night.
The couple stepped out on the red carpet for the 2026 Actor Awards, which took place at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 1.
Flaunting an embellished pink Prada dress, the actress, 45, later took home a win at this year's ceremony, for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series for her role in FX's Dying for Sex.

Williams and Kail first met in 2018 on the set of the FX limited series Fosse/Verdon, where she starred as Gwen Verdon and he served as a co-developer and director on the project. At the time, they were both married, but started dating some time after their respective divorces in 2019.
By December of that year, they were engaged and expecting their first child, a son named Hart. They got married in 2020, and went on to welcome two more children — one in 2022, whose name and sex have not been revealed, and another via surrogate in April 2025.
Williams also has one daughter, Matilda Ledger, from her relationship with the late Heath Ledger, who died in 2008.
Kail, a producer and director, directed the hit Broadway musical Hamilton, as well as In the Heights and Grease: Live, which won him an Emmy. Additionally, Kail also directed TV shows like Up Here and We Were the Lucky Ones.

Meanwhile, Dying for Sex is the latest in Williams' lengthy résumé of iconic titles — including Dawson's Creek, Brokeback Mountain, My Week with Marilyn and Manchester by the Sea. In the series, she portrays Molly, a woman diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer on a journey to reclaim her sexuality post-divorce while battling the illness.
The show is based on the Wondery podcast of the same name, and is produced by three-time Emmy winner Nikki Boyer.
In April 2025, Williams told PEOPLE that the story's central relationship, a friendship between Molly and Nikki, made her think "even more deeply on how important" her female friends are. She further gushed that building chemistry with Slate was "super easy."
"It was really not a construction project. It was just like a sort of falling into each other kind of thing," Williams shared.
