Jimmy Kimmel is calling out Donald Trump for his negative review of Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime show. **
The late-night host addressed the president's unhappy remarks about the six-time Grammy-winning artist's celebrated performance on Monday's episode of *Jimmy Kimmel Live*.
"Bad Bunny got a bad review from our bad president, unfortunately," Kimmel began, before reading a segment from Trump's lengthy Truth Social review of the performance. **
"He wrote, 'The Super Bowl halftime show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn't represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence,'" the host read. "'Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World.'"

Kimmel, however, appeared to have a hard time believing that Trump really cared about how the dancing in the performance may actually affect children.**
"This is a man that paid off a porn star who spanked him with his own face on a magazine… He's offended by the halftime [show]. This is a guy who's okay with this being the release of the Epstein files," he said, before showcasing a heavily redacted page from the files. "He's offended for the children."

Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime show reminds us what America really is

'View' stars emotionally defend Bad Bunny's Super Bowl show: 'We are all part of America'

Kimmel went on to marvel at how fascinating it was that people watched the same halftime show and yet have completely different takes on it.
"Half of us saw a heartwarming story of immigrants who had dreams to come to America, work hard, get married, grow up, raise families, sing, dance, play backgammon," he said. "The other half it was like the movie* 28 Days Later.* It was a terrifying attack on humanity led by Jessica Alba."
Kimmel also reacted to conservative organization Turning Point USA's alternative Super Bowl halftime show, which was headlined by Kid Rock and aired on social media during Bad Bunny's performance. **
"Even Donald Trump didn't watch the Kid Rock halftime show. He watched Bad Bunny," he said. "He wanted to make sure he hated him as much as he thought he would, and he did."

And Kimmel was tired of all the outrage. "It's all so performative," he explained. "Number one: if Bad Bunny had stopped by the White House to make nice with Donald Trump like Nicki Minaj did or Kanye West or the Village People, MAGA would have no problem with Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl. They'd pretend to love him, too. They'd be like, 'Tití Me Preguntó'! I love that one!'"
He continued, "But since Bad Bunny isn't a fan of Trump, since they knew that at halftime there'd be a bunch of confused white people sitting on their couches going, 'What the hell is this?' they decided to make it a thing. You know, the things they always make to try to get us to forget about all the redacted names in the Epstein files?"
Kimmel also fully acknowledged that he didn't know the lyrics to any Bad Bunny songs. "But since when do we need to know what the singers are saying?" he asked. "Michael Jackson, maybe the greatest Super Bowl performance of all time, was like, 'Shamone, Shamone, you know it.' I didn't know it. Nobody knew it! We didn't know it then. 33 years later, we still don't know what the hell that means. But that's the point: it doesn't matter. It's the halftime show at a football game."
He continued, "This is not about excluding people. It's the opposite of that. English has had a lot of at bats over the last 60 years of Super Bowls. It's been a long run since 'Come on shake your body, baby, do that conga.' The biggest artist in the world is Bad Bunny, so maybe let Spanish have a turn for once."
