Voters have flocked to dawn polls on election day despite dismal weather conditions in several southern states. Umbrella-clad Americans in Texas and Missouri braved wind and rain to hit the polls on Tuesday after after Vice President Kamala Harris and former president Donald Trump made their final campaign pitches to the nation the night before. In Jefferson County, just outside St Louis in Missouri, polling stations are bracing for potential flooding which could cause last-minute chaos.
