JERMAINE JENAS has revealed Gareth Bale surprised Tottenham team-mates together with his selection of pre-match meal.

And the pundit explained why making an attempt it himself backfired.

And Bale's selection stays his most memorable match-day munching moment – for all types of causes.

Brighton's ex-Spurs full-back Pascal Gross sparked the dialog earlier than kick-off on Monday night time together with his own revelation to the broadcaster about his pre-game eating.

Gross stated he opts for rice, hen and olive oil …. topped off by Weetabix!

TNT commentator Adam Summerton referred to as that "fairly the mixture" as the pundits returned to the& debate at half-time.

Jenas advised:& "I guess that's just a superstition as nicely.

"There would have been at some point the place he had a bit of Weetabix as an extra and prob scored two objectives and acquired an assist and thought that's it, he has the components."

"I simply had an enormous bowl of cereal and simply drank plenty of Lucozade I feel. Night time games was lots simpler pasta and hen."

Then came Jenas' Bale story.
