First Take star slammed by San Francisco 49ers' Deebo Samuel as controversial debate over Brock Purdy rages on
DEEBO Samuel has hit again at EPSN analyst Ryan Clark over his controversial Brock Purdy.
The San Francisco 49ers star referred to as out Clark for "hating" on the 24-year-old quarterback.



Clark made the feedback throughout Monday's version of the ESPN sports activities debate show First Take.
Purdy, the 2022 Mr. Irrelevent, has helped lead the 49ers to the NFC Championship game on Sunday.
He enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2023 and was briefly in the MVP conversation after throwing for 4,280 yards and 31 touchdowns.
However Clark claimed the "hardest factor" he had to do that season was "act like Purdy deserved to be" in elite QB firm.
Clark stated, "I'm about to make a confession.
"The only hardest factor I had to do this yr was act like Brock Purdy deserved to be in the conversations with (Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, and Lamar Jackson].
"Brock Purdy is a nice player. He can function in Kyle Shanahan's offense at a particularly high degree.
"But Brock Purdy doesn't increase the extent of play of anybody round him.
"So whenever you speak about Maomes, Allen, or Jackson, the individuals round them benefit from having those types of gamers at quarterback.
"Brock Purdy advantages from having the type of players he has at the talent players round him."
The take definitely divided NFL followers – and San Francisco wideout Samuel hit again on X.
Quoting the clip of Clark, Deebo wrote, "Never seen a lot hate for a QB that lead the league in virtually every class.
"Y'all people be buggin' [for real]. That tap don't inform lies".
One fan responded, "Ryan gonna be singing a unique tune when the Niners win next week."
Another stated, "He's a prime 15 qb and there's nothing flawed with that."
While a 3rd argued, "Ryan advised no lies!!"
