Judiciary panel issues subpoena on Trump's alleged offer to pardon DHS officials

The House Judiciary Committee subpoenaed the Division of Homeland Security for paperwork related to President Donald Trump's alleged supply to pardon officials who break the regulation whereas carrying out his wishes on immigration coverage.

Trump has denied making the supply and his allies have reportedly claimed his closed-door comments — revealed in media stories — have been jokes. However Democrats say they need to see the data from inside the division, notably because the Judiciary Committee considers whether or not to advocate articles of impeachment to the complete House.
