Alex Cooper said there's "so much good s---" that didn't air during the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special.

"My interview with Miley was two-and-a-half hours," the Call Her Daddy host revealed. "I wish you guys could see the full two-and-a-half hours."

Despite lamenting what was left on the cutting room floor, Cooper still thought the special did "such a great job of bringing the emotion and Miley back into that world."

Alex Cooper is giving fans FOMO in her Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special recap.

The Call Her Daddy host took to her Instagram Stories the morning after the special premiered, reflecting on what Hannah Montana means to her, and teased what she and Miley Cyrus left on the cutting room floor.

"I feel like I'm hungover, but I'm not. It's just an emotional hangover. Last night was the Hannah Montana 20th anniversary premiere," Cooper began, speaking to the camera on her Instagram Stories. "And I'm just in my feels right now I think, because I got to go with my [childhood] best friend," who was also a huge Hannah Montana fan.

Cooper said that growing up, she and her friend remade Hannah's music videos and made skits about the singer. They joined the Hannah Montana fan club and went to the Meet Miley Cyrus/Best of Both Worlds Tour. "I've gotten to do so much in my career that I'm so grateful for, but I think this one hit different because it was so connected to my childhood."

The podcast host said that she's thanked Cyrus "a million times" and is "so grateful." Cooper said she was in her bathroom when Cyrus asked her to participate in the 20th anniversary special. "And when Miley Cyrus calls and asks you to be a part of the Hannah Montana 20th anniversary special, there's no other answer other than yes," she quipped.

"But to see her creative vision come to life and her genius, it was so fun to work so closely with her and getting to see the behind-the-scenes and the rehearsals and her thought process, and what songs she was picking."

Cooper also marveled at the size of Hannah Montana's world — acknowledging that she knew not everything could make the final, one-hour cut while still lamenting that there was so much produced for the special that fans would never see.

"My interview with Miley was two-and-a-half hours, and I'm like, 'Oh my god.' There's so much good s---. I wish you guys could see the full two-and-a-half hours."

"But I do think this special did such a great job of bringing the emotion and Miley back into that world and seeing her interact with it in a way that she envisioned and she wanted," Cooper added, concluding that she was "honored to be a part of it in a little way."

The anniversary special featured Cyrus' first performance as Hannah in 15 years, along with the star reminiscing about the golden years of the Disney Channel and confirming the rumors that she did indeed date Dylan Sprouse. Cyrus also spoke about the connections between her and Hannah Montana.

"I used to think of Hannah as something separate from myself. I would think of her as a character," Cyrus said during the special.

"Even though it was me, I would always think about what would be best for Hannah, and I didn't always think about that as if we were integrated. And what I'm loving about this special is that it's my merging of Hannah and Miley together."

The Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special is available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu.
