A cyber security expert delivered a stark warning to Apple users amid a new and threatening malware scheme which disguises itself as a fake software update. Kurt Knutsson, 57, an award-winning tech journalist, cautioned Apple users to 'look out for themselves' as he offered advice on how to safeguard user's sensitive data from the dangerous malware. The fraudulent scheme, dubbed 'infostealer', tricks users into downloading harmful software by posing as an update from an internet browser.
