Hugely popular Broadway show ends after 34-year run

New York City's theatre scene has become less blue. Blue Man Group, the beloved 34-year-old Off-Broadway show featuring three head-to-toe blue-painted drummers, took its final bow at the theatre where the production began. The show shuttered its New York City production on Sunday, February 2. The show had been a mainstay at the Astor Place Theatre since 1991, when George H.W. Bush was president and Magic Johnson played his final season for the Lakers.
